I tire of reading the word 'incident' when it comes to robbery, car jacking and murder. The word seems so puny and benign, almost dismissive.
An 'incident' occurs when you bump into someone coming out of the grocery and a glass jar of pickles falls out of your sack breaking into pieces on the concrete pavement.
This is much better. These PERCEIVED "incidents" took place south of County Line Road and west of the Pearl River.
Inquiring minds want to know if the victims and alleged criminals maintained their dignity which is very important to the mayor.
<< Palmer was also injured during an exchange of gunfire however, it is still not clear what exactly lead to the incident. >> . . . hmm was an 'open carry' weapon used ?? . . .
We usually read, "An apparent altercation led to the shooting."
