Apparently the Repo man went to work.

Wouldn't be the first time high end rims and tires were repo'd.
Could there be a connection between the JPD cruisers and this? This sleuth wants to know!
I actually saw this when I stopped by TFM during lunch. The security guard said the guy didn't pay for his wheels/tires, so they were repossessed. If I recall, it had a tag from somewhere in south Mississippi. (And a used car lot sticker on the trunk that wasn't put on straight.)
that's not a used car lot tag, that's a tag for Reunion.
is this a Country Club or River Hills member?
looks just like a parking lot in south jackson..
so when's the costco going up?
Rough neighborhood!
Ridgeland is so dangerous! Build the wall! Make Jackson pay for it!
Why the heck would anyone finance rims and tires? hood rich?
Who is “Mary WATKINS,” Kingfishie dear? Looks as if you didn’t take your Vitamin P (for proofreading) supplement this morning!
Hey Dip at 3:21... I wouldn't be calling KF out. He and everyone else here, except you, knows who MW is.
You must not have ever read this site before... this morning.
Ophelia - You haven’t heard of Mary Watkins?? The crazy HOA woman?? She was found guilty of simple assault of a minor by threat because she was casting unbaited hooks at kids as they rode by on their jetskis.
I hope some of his bros see this on social media.
Who finances this type of thing? There is a billboard for that on I-220, the West Jackson Autobahn and Shooting Gallery.
The lower 90% now finance not only funerals, but dental work, cell phones, etc. Everything. No decent wages, why, put it on the card.
So, Wharton has an article on subprime auto loan practices, Feb 18, 2019:
"Knowledge@Wharton: Do you think most people are aware that they could be underwater when they drive the new car off the lot?
Peterson: The potential underwriting standards that are mentioned are, I think, a good place to begin starting to talk about reform. I’d even say the reality is actually probably worse than that, because there’s a pretty widespread practice called — I think the dealerships call it “power-booking.” When they underwrite the loan, they will be creative in determining the value of the various bells and whistles associated with the car. Does it have the right rims? Does it have the right off-road package or sport package associated with it?
Peterson: And they can manage to generate a somewhat false estimate of the fair market value of the car. It’s very similar to what we saw in the mortgage crisis, where the appraisal practices were so loose that you could get very high loan-to-value ratios that, in turn, were deceptively understated because you could pad the appraisal."
Just when you thought the Aspirant Rich Guys couldn't think of yet another way to soak the working class even more...
There is no limit to Vulture Capital and the unquenchable greed.
Payday loans-yeah, deregulate it. Auto loans, deregulate it. Student loans, deregulate it? What could happen?
2008 again. x10. As they say on Yadkin Drive, the Boulevard of Broken Dreams outside Fort Bragg, EASY CREDIT E-1 AND UP!!!!!
Ophelia- Why would he need to proofread? 🙄
Gotta love when someone tries to correct someone but they are really the ignorant one!!
A BMW
Wonder why they didn't repo the whole car.
Ophelia- HAS to be a troll. “Kingfishie” “Vitamin P for proofreading”
I HOPE no one really talks like this.
Vehicle was from McComb. A city on the move, soon to be just like Jackson.
Who would finance rims and tires, asks someone who has never priced them. They can run upwards of $3000 a set. Higher if you be on the weekly-pay-plan.
+ + + 4:52. Mississippi issues licenses to steal from the poor and then jails them when they are too poor to pay their ticket for not having insurance. But then nationwide 60% of the population lives pay check to pay check.
Does this mean the JPD wheels and rims weren't stolen, rather repossessed?
Does Baby Chok need to pay some bills?
The type of person that would finance flashy wheels for their vehicle is no diffefent that a person who would buy a handbag on a credit card and take 3 years to pay it off.
Some people struggle with self worth.
... nationwide 60% of the population lives pay check to pay check.
Link?
Me thinks the owner of the BMW stole the wheels off the JPD car in anticipation of his being repo'd. He'll show up tonight and install the JPD wheels on his BMer. He planned it so his wheels would be repo'd in Ridgeland knowing that nobody would trash his vehicle before he could get back to it.
I saw it today when I went to FM for lunch. The car's owner was in the parking lot, and I spoke to him. He said that he had financed the rims, missed one payment, and they repo'd the rims while he was at "work" at his place of employment at Renaissance. Said he paid off the whole loan today, but the repo guys were taking their sweet time in bringing back his wheels although they were quick to repo. He was a nice guy, pretty well-spoken, and at least he's a working dude instead of just sucking off the government teat. So, I know that it's a funny look with the car on blocks in front of FM, but cut the guy some slack.
8:47 "....but cut the guy some slack."
Stupid idiot.
Buys an old used BMW... pays thousands (?) for rims to impress others? Nope, not one iota of sympathy.
Idiot. Stupid idiot.
"... nationwide 60% of the population lives pay check to pay check.
Link?"
Uh, common knowledge for a long time. Google it.
January 11, 2019 Forbes.com
78% of workers live P to P
AND, nearly one in 10 workers making $100,000+ live paycheck to paycheck
I don't believe the Bullshit posted at 8:47. That's not where FM employees park. Secondly, the 'repo man' doesn't bring stuff back. He's paid only to repo stuff. Well spoken? Are we supposed to sympathize? We know what you meant when you made it up. A well spoken black guy (and the rest are on the gubment tit). I'm calling bullshit on the whole post.
Oh, dear, King of All Fish, please accept my deeeeeeepest apologies. And thank you, kind person at 4:50, for enlightening me as to the identity of this white-trash old lady, Mary Watkins. I had completely missed that riveting saga, so the name meant nothing to me; I thought KF was referring to Mary HAWKINS, which in the context made sense to me. I am sincerely sorry that my tiny typing fingers.got busy before doing my homework.
As for the others here, who were most unhelpful in their reaction to my grievous solecism, I can only say, “Oh, piss off.”
KF, it will not happen again.
One just can't fix stupid. No matter how one tries.
Well excuse me for my incorrect guess 8:35. Here's a link for you.
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/24/most-americans-live-paycheck-to-paycheck.html
it's 78%. And many of them seem to think a tax cut is all they need to become wealthy.

LOL @ the car.
On the other hand, none of this living wage talk will do much of anything for anyone unless inflation is addressed. Sometimes you really have to wonder if that narrative is a diversion from real inflation. It won’t be too long before said inflation hits the perceivable [upper] middle class over in Ridgeland/Madison.
@8:36AM you are getting dangerously close to forbidden talk there
Ever wonder why there is a raised textured edge on coins?
Well back when they were made of precious metals certain people would shave a little bit of gold off of every coin that passed through their hands. This devaluation of currency by weight contributed to the collapse of many empires in history.
Many times this gold was used to fashion jewelry that was then resold at maximum profit.
Today the private Federal Reserve Bank not only removes a bit of value from each saved dollar through inflation and manipulation of interest rates, but they charge the US Treasury for the privilege of doing so.
lets be fair. post a picture of a $90,000 extended cab pickup being repossessed . the whole truck , not just the rims. that happens about a 1000 times a week in madison and rankin county. pick on one festooned with stickers that say, yeti coolers, costa sunglasses, champion fishing boats, browning, benelli , glock, macks prarie wings, cabelas, salt-life, {even though there is no salt water around here}, ruger, drake , ducks unlimited, delta waterfowl, sitka, and some chicken manure SEC university. everything these redncks around here need to show how hip- hop, whats happening they are. clowns like them have everything except money. it will be ez for the repo man to find the truck. just hang around out side of ticos, table 100, does eat place, bass pro, vans sporting goods, any ducks unlimited meeting, any liquor stores, buffalo wild wings, and of course pine lake baptist church on sunday. these are the fat ass rednecks you can hear coming a mile away because they modify the factory exhaust system so they can get as much attention as possible while they roll out at 130 decibels sayin "look at me"!
Wow, we went from talking about a guy getting his rims repo'ed to a discussion of the global Federal Reserve conspiracy.
@9:48 AM
I'm sorry that the Rainbow Coop closed down and your 98 Subaru Forester has a blown head gasket.
Never fear, AOC will make everyone equally as unable to afford luxuriously consumer goods as you are.
that happens about a 1000 times a week in madison and rankin county.
Thousand repos a week in Madison and Rankin counties? You are so full of shit.
@Kingfish
When you look into basically everything in the last 100 years of central banking by the private Federal Reserve Bank, you can literally have a giant spider Web mural of interconnected conspiracies of war and power.
Bonds to credit cards, mortgages to car loans, pensions and even lotteries. Follow the money.
Kingfish is part of the Illuminati. He just doesn't know it. Clearly, we have a conspiracy among rim manufacturers, Wall Street, and the Bilderbergers.
REPOMAN. If you scramble the letters, you get POREMAN, proving they are out to keep the poor man poor.
If you count the numbers of those words, you get 7 letters. Which is the same as the number of letters in a word that means the insufferable home of drunken jerks- Ole Miss.
If you notice. each word has an M, an O, and an E.
Which is the same NAME! as the leader of this nefarious group and Chancellor of Ole Miss- MOE!
Then, you see the name of the Director of the National Economic Council- LARRY!
And, WHO is the representative of the North Dakota GOP??? CURLY Haugland!
And what state is Mount Rushmore in? Where the Secret Chamber is??? SOUTH DAKOTA!!!!
Which proves not only that this is a global conspiracy, but that Wall Street is secretly controlled by the Republicans, the Rothschilds, Ole Miss, and the Three Stooges!!!!
All closely related and similar in appearance, greed, and behavior.
See?? Wait! Gotta go! Somebody's messing with my King Ranch out there! /s
Further,
King Ranch =
2+9+5+7 9+1+5+3+8
23 26
2+3=5 2+6=8
5+8 = 13
1+3 = 4
AND 4 is the number of conspirators controlling Wall Street!!
QED
Why would any weirdo nut job even care where money comes from? Or how our financial and political institutions operate?
There's stuff to watch on TV. Pass me another beer!
Seriously though. Financial ignorance is why some people rent-to-own wheels and home appliances while others own most of the property in a county.
@9:48 AM jealousy, sarcasm, or satire?
@5:33 a.m.
8:47 here. I know that there is little that I, or anyone else with facts, could say to you about the car's owner that might help your obviously closed, shallow mind understand reality. People like you have everyone stereotyped, and you don't want to be bothered with facts that muddy your little mind's conception of all black or all white with shades of gray in the world. But, I never stated that the guy worked at Fresh Market -- I said that he worked at Renaissance, which he does. He was wearing a workshirt with the name of the business on it, so I know exactly where he works at Renaissance, and he confirmed it when he told me that they repo'd his wheels while he was inside working there. I didn't state which business is his workplace in order to prevent uninformed idiots like you from harassing or embarrassing him at his workplace. Based on your comments, there's no doubt that I made the right choice not to disclose his workplace.
People want things now and wont wait. Credit has ruined many a good person. Its not wrong to use credit but it cost you extra. Our desire for things gets us in trouble
What are the odds 9:48 drives a 15 year old Volvo with Fully Fund MAEP and Coexist stickers on it?
My sources are telling me that the wheels are tied to Madison Timber, LLC.
Thanks 9:48 for the dining recommendations.
Here I was pondering the 4 for $4 again....
to 3:54........odds are that the old volvo is paid for are real good. more than we can say for your 2019 dodge extended cab with the set of silver bull balls swinging around under the trailer hitch. id be willing to bet you got monthly payments on your yeti cooler.
poor little 10:16 ...he got his little feelings hurt
8:47 and 1:13 (same guy)...Your last diatribe doesn't explain this from your earliest post:
"...he paid off the whole loan today, but the repo guys were taking their sweet time in bringing back his wheels although they were quick to repo. He was a nice guy, pretty well-spoken, and at least he's a working dude instead of just sucking off the government teat."
1. It's ok for you to believe repo guys return things legally repossessed, but it's not ok for you to expect US to believe that. If the slacker is due anything back, he needs to take that up with the man currently in possession of the rims.
2. It's not ok for you to suggest this black 'dude' is well spoken without admitting that you didn't expect him to be.
This is confusing, KF.
Can you assign people names when they comment, so I can keep up with whom is insulting whom?
What was the name of that nut-case physician in Greenwood who was confined to Whitfield awhile back after plotting to kill a lawyer? I think he has gained access to a keyboard, at 11:30 and 12:21, above.
