It appears a settlement might be in the works. This item appeared on the agenda of the Jackson City Council last night:
65. ORDER AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION OF ALL CLAIMS IN THE MATTER STYLED "KIMBERLY V. BRACEY V. CITY OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, ET AL.," UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF MISSISSIPPI, CIVIL ACTION NO.: 3:16 -C V-657-DPJ -FKB.(HENDRIX)
The item was pulled from the agenda when the meeting started.

Sounds like they are finally dealing with a resolution to the straight piping issue. Good....oh wait, that's not what you are talking about. Oops
I hope this doesn't mean that Yarber himself is off the hook. If he's able to run for re-election, I shudder to imagine a scenario in which Premier Trump shows up to endorse him, since Yarber's behavior is definitely Trumpian.
What else could they do? The last thing Yarbor and several high ranking city cronies need is discovery under oath revealing names and places that will blow the top off their scam administration. The only way to get to the truth with this scandal-ridden bunch is criminal investigation. Good luck with that in Hinds County. The
AG's office is the only game in town and they are frying other fish and probably don't want the fallout. In the meantime, guess who's gonna have a great New Year's eve bash. Maybe in Atlanta.
