JPD issued the following statement:
On December 17, 2016, at approx. 8:50 PM, Jackson Police Officers responded to Bill's Pawn/Jewelry at 104 Wilmington St. regarding multiple victims shot inside the location.
Upon officers' arrival, it was learned that three white males, ages 66, 70 and 81 had been shot at least once inside the location. They were pronounced deceased on scene. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that the establishment had allegedly been robbed and the victims were shot. There were several items missing from inside the location that reflected a robbery had occurred. The surveillance equipment had also been tampered with and stolen as well. There is no suspect nor witness information at this time. This is the 66th, 67th and 68th homicide investigation for 2016.
