Woman Accuses Trooper of Sexual Assault

A woman reported to the Attorney General’s office that she was sexually assaulted by a Mississippi trooper and subjected to revenge porn.

The (alleged) victim stated in the complaint she went to dinner with the trooper earlier this year. She had several drinks and became “extremely intoxicated.” The two friends went back to the trooper’s home where she crashed. She states in the complaint she woke up to a nightmare.

The victim became aware a sexual encounter took place although she could not recall what happened. She said she “had never been with a female before or had any interest in being with a female.” No other sexual activity took place with the trooper before or after that night.

Noticing a phone in the trooper’s hand, she asked her “friend” if she recorded anything that took place that night. The trooper replied she did indeed record the sex between the two women. The victim told her to delete the video. However, the trooper said she had nothing to worry about as her face wa not in the video. The reassurances meant little as the trooper said she was not going to delete the video but would instead keep in the “vault” on her phone. The victim asked the trooper to remove the video but she refused to do so.

The victim discovered the trooper did not delete the video when she visited the trooper’s home in early May. The trooper casually mentioned the wife of her trooper boyfriend (Yes, there apparently was an affair) found the video in her husband’s email and watched it. Horrified, the victim asked the trooper “what video?” The trooper said she sent the husband/boyfriend trooper the video and that contrary to her earlier claim, it indeed included the victim’s face. The victim listened in a state of shock as she realized video of the non-consensual sex was probably being passed around the Mississippi Highway Patrol; video she thought was deleted. Video she thought did not identify her. Unfortunately for the victim, the trooper admitted the married couple recognized her. The trooper admitted sending the video to another trooper as well. The victim demanded she delete the video off her phone.  JJ saw text messages that seem to corroborate this account.

The victim repeated her demands the next day but she might as well have been whistling Dixie for all the trooper cared (allegedly). The trooper said the video had not gone past the two troopers who received her emails. The victim told her “friend” she felt violated and that the trooper broke her trust just so she could “sexually entertain her boyfriend.” There was no more contact between the two women but the trooper was allegedly not done with her now-former friend as the alleged voyeurism turned into revenge porn. Copies of a text message exchange regarding the alleged video are posted below.

The victim is divorced with children. Her ex-husband asked her about a “sex tape” a month later when during a child exchange. The ex-husband named the trooper and said “everyone was talking about it.” Shamed by the trooper’s alleged distribution of the sex tape, the woman rarely leaves the home or socializes in her area. “My life has completely changed because of the selfish actions of one person” stated the victim.  The victim’s complaint concludes:

While writing this statement I received a very disturbing phone call from an individual who made me aware that Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx  is distributing this nonconsensual video out to anyone who wants its, mainly MHP officers and is actively approaching people asking if they want a copy of this video. Despite begging, pleading and demanding her to delete this video, Xxxxxx continues to share this video that I never consented to. She has made numerous comments to individuals that she is untouchable because she has dirt on everyone. After being informed of this news I feel completely violated and victimized all over again. Xxxx xxxxxxx is purposely and maliciously sexually exploiting me using a video she took of me without my knowledge or consent. The damage that this woman has done to me is irreversible.

The alleged victim submitted the complaint on Bastille Day after she met with an investigator.  The alleged victim said as far as she knew, the A.G.'s office had not interviewed anyone related to the case.

Frustrated with what she thought was inaction, she filed a complaint with the Brandon Police Department on October 5.  BPD in turn forwarded the complaint to the District Attorney.  Brandon Police and the District Attorney contacted the A.G.'s office.  The victim said the A.G.'s office allegedly told the Rankin County law enforcement officials to back off as it was investigating the complaint.

Troopers gonna troop. They are held to a different (much much lower) standard than any other law enforcement (or the general public for that matter) just because they protect and help out their buddies and friends in the state legislature.

With every new Colonel you hope for a little change but it just stays the same. Not until DPS brings someone in from the outside with an impeccable resume of leadership and turning around a state agency will anything every change.

One would hope DPS drops the hammer on the female trooper and whoever else within in the department condoned this sh—!
Where is Lynn Girlpower Fitch ??

Um….. AG’s office where you at ??

Nice!
Protecting, serving, making amature p!orn without someone's consent.
Like the person above stated, troopers gonna troop.

The entirety of the State Troopers should be disassembled and we should just try again. This is embarrassing.

Looks like the first half of the story finally made it to JJ. the rest of the story is just as good. Keep digging

Just because an investigator is with a state agency, such as the attorney generals office does not make them an elite investigator. They are actually very underpaid, which does not attract the best in the brightest. It does not surprise me at all that the ball got dropped, intentionally or unintentionally.

My suspicions are confirmed yet again: troopers and MHP are just … ick. Some sets of people, one does best to just stay the hell away from them.

I’m need a shower now.

Troopers allegedly acting like a bunch of school kids! Every Trooper that saw that video if true, and did not report it, their employment should be terminated.

This is a blatant regard for the public’s security and safety. Shame on the Trooper that allegedly recorded and shared that video, you are a sick fucker and a screwed up fool!

The lowest shit I’ve heard this week!

I predict no consequences.

Back off says the AG. We need to make sure the s troopers have plenty of time to switch phones and get rid of evidence before they go the gym. Let me guess it was all after a night at McClain’s. Publish the name of the trooper!

Kingfish is about to be targeted like that guy in North MS!

6:24 - I'm afraid you are right. MHP doesn't have a great track record of holding their employees accountable. It's why they don't really make it working for a real law enforcement department after retirement/termination. They are held accountable after not being held accountable for the past 20-30 years.

Anonymous said...

DPS should fire her tonight and any of her superiors who failed to act in MHP!

Anonymous said...

Ah, Rankin County...goon squads and poon squads. Yeah, since there is nothing remotely interesting going on in Rankin County and Noo Yawk editors and reporters just live - LIVE!, I tells ya! - to work on pieces about hick towns with nothing going on, they will just have to resort to "making stuff up."

Anonymous said...

Maybe I am confused but wouldn’t the original violation constitute rape? If so, would that not fall under the purview of the local constabulary?

Anonymous said...

Why pretend to be a role model for our younger generation and then do such as this is despicable. You should be ashamed of your actions, if I wore that patch I would despise how you tarnish it, especially for the good ones that do the right things . ........Shame on You..............

I've instructed my wife that if a trooper ever tries to pull her over she is to reduce speed to a safe speed that shows she is not trying to flee. She is to call me, and then call 911 to inform the dispatcher of the traffic stop. I do not feel safe having her being stopped by these roided out hotheads.

Anonymous said...

I support the Mississippi Highway Patrol but this Trooper is sick and should not be allowed contact with the public.

If these allegations are true all involved including the ones sharing this information employment must be terminated or if that’s too harsh they all should transferred to the Governor’s Executive detail. That way he can monitor the Troopers cause the Troop Captain sho ain’t!

This is bad. I am Seeing this type of stuff and other bad things in sheriff departments as well. There is some serious issues within law enforcement officer behavior. First thought that comes to mind is immaturity. Second thought is not enough to do, lots of sitting around picking noises and scratching butts.

When the moral fiber of a society deteriorates, all aspects of that society are effected. We would like to think that those areas of our society that we have traditionally held to a higher standard are immune to this deterioration, but this is not so. When the tide recedes, all boats are lowered.

Sean Tindell must be asking himself what in the high-holy-heck he got himself into. It's not as if a MS COA judge is thought of as a pillar of national legal scholarship but I would imagine it is better than Commissioner of Feral Cat Wrangling and General Fuckupery. There is a quip attributed to the Texas Rangers: "One riot, one Ranger." The Troopers, or at least certain ones, are creating their own: "One fuck-up, several Troopers."

I would like to believe there are at least some good, decent, and professional men and women working for DPS. It is long past time to get rid of those who willfully refuse to be. If that means starting from scratch, that is what needs to happen. And it needs to happen before the shit really hits the fan.

There are a lot of good guys in law enforcement. Those are mostly old school LEO's or raised by some older LEO. These new young guns are a bunch of bullies who believe they rule their jurisdiction, and you bow down to them.

Our last governor had a law enforcement background and knew how to whip agencies into shape and maintain discipline and ethics.

As examples I offer the Department of Corrections, Public Safety, Employment Security, Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks, the State Welfare agency and Medicaid.

All of those agencies became solid examples of superior executive management.

I've seen a video of the former Chief of Fulton police using a bottle of beer on his wife. Really sick. But he just got elected Sheriff up there, so I guess those fine God-fearing folks are okay with it.

These new “Troopers” aren’t real Troopers. They’re just wearing the suit and ringing the bell. Kinda all the mall Santa’s out there! They’ve dumb downed the training so much and have taken away any tradition that was once there. It doesn’t even resemble MHP anymore. They have made their substandard their standard now. There are plenty of them walking around in that uniform (that has no pride or meaning now) who didn’t do anything to earn it. Watered down training and lower standards are now the new norm for DPS. This is the product they’re producing now. There are some old Roadmen rolling over in their graves.

There are tons of known names of homewreckers in law enforcement. If you work with them you know all the stories. From the John Deer Tractor Queen to the smokey pokey and the trucker. We all know they got tons of notches on them bedpost.
This female trooper is the same. Why buy the milk when the cow is free? just sayin

Ok, we have E31 stalking folks and a cover up, we have Brandon PD drinking and driving, Rankin County SO getting drunk and fighting on Flag Island, the disgrace that is Bryan Bailey, and now this. The people of Mississippi are sick and tired of being sick and tired. It’s high time we have an audit of all the law enforcement agencies in the state complete with psychological assessments, physical fitness tests, and drug tests that includes anabolic steroids. I’m a supporter of law enforcement but this is a complete joke. Time for some accountability. We all work hard and pay taxes; we deserve better. Let’s get rid of all the grifting scumbags and have fewer better paid professionals running our law enforcement that will actually serve and protect the good people of Mississippi.

Anonymous said...

Does the comment about having dirt on everyone, include elected officials when she hangs around the Capital?

Anonymous said...

" These new young guns are a bunch of bullies who believe they rule their jurisdiction, and you bow down to them."

This isn't a recent occurrence. They were just as bad 30 years ago. I have had occasion to interact with some over the years that conducted themselves in a very professional manner. They were few, not many.

I worked with a guy that became a trooper several years back. He had a nice wife that was a nurse, he was a straight-up dog when it came to women. I couldn't believe he made the grade.

Anonymous said...

My advice is to avoid contact with them even if they are off duty. The time to install video and audio recording in your vehicle is prior to them violating your rights. Record everything. Know that if you are in MS (particularly Rankin County) it is possible that law enforcement could sexually victimize you. Do not consent to anything, record everything, ask for officer identification. Also, talk to your driving age children about not consenting to any searches particularly with respect to their body. LEOs can search for weapons but they can’t demand to see a child’s genitalia or cavity on the side of the road under the auspices of suspicion of drug possession.

The good thing is people are more aware of law enforcement sexual deviancy. With awareness, we can stop it.

Anonymous said...

Lynn has a conflict. She likes her drivers too much. Won't go after their organization.

The District Attorney should handle this or someone with authority should appoint a special investigator.

I'm speaking directly to Sean - this is your political career here. How you handle this will show the State what you are made of. Any future political ambitions hinge on this - not DL wait times.

The Legislature is coming back in January. They need to hold DPS accountable.

Anonymous said...

12:31, I was in law enforcement for almost 30 years and worked at many levels. I’m not saying there aren’t good troopers but this has been par for the course for many years. They preach elevated standards but live up to the part.

This sounds like something out of Rankin County from back in the early 2000’s. Everyone knew about ole Reservoir Patrol Officer Lester “the Molester”. Wore his uniform super tight, probably did steroids, etc.

Unfortunately the law enforcement community in MS is a lot like the church youth ministry. Your friend that works there is probably not a sexual predator but… it does seem to attract them.

Stay safe out there. If you see something, report it.

I think that is conduct unbecoming.

Unless that is the culture...

Anonymous said...

@11:37, it is 1000% conduct unbecoming. We will see if it goes anywhere, being that she is affiliated with some influential people. I will say this, and it’s fact, she has gotten away with a lot of things that MHP has fired other troopers for. I truly believe nothing will happen this time either. She’s openly told people that she “gets whatever she wants.” From what I have seen the past few years, it’s very true. Like I said, they’ve fired numerous troopers for way way less and used “conduct unbecoming” as the reason. I can’t think of anything else that would constitute conduct unbecoming than what she has allegedly done.

Niknar needs a water check ASAP. All the finest seem to be caught up videoing, subpoenaing, or dildoing their way through life. Trooper is raping because she can “be epic gorgeous”. Sheriff gotta get his old ladies lovers phone records. Goon squad is arming dildos. I think they need a big group sex event at the Clyde Muse center. Offer free tren and Anavar and make it clothing optional, we will see a Rankin County blue flu

Seriously how much more shameful can this get for Rankin law enforcement

This whole story is an embarrassment for the State of Mississippi and it’s Law Enforcement Agencies involved. Dumb and Dumber and the married boyfriend sex video saga is a joke and the trooper just needs to be fired. End of story.

Do some research. There may now be a federal civil cause of action for revenge porn / disclosing intimate pictures.

If Lynn won't do her job (because she likes troopers) then sue this trooper in federal court.

Everyone is so quick to draw conclusions. Have charges been filed or is this just a complaint? Anyone can file a complaint or even charges to get back at someone or do so to save face. Just looking at what has been posted, it appears the "victim" is embarrassed about her act with another woman being made public. Is it stupid to make sex videos.....yes. Do people fabricate malicious things if they get pissed off at someone or embarrassed.....yes. If they allegations do not pan out, the "victim" may not be a "victim."

I am days away from retiring from law enforcement and it can’t come soon enough.

When I first started you were proud to say you were part of this honorable profession and would do anything to keep your record clean and unblemished. You would go to work early and stay late it was more of a family than a brotherhood in those days.

Now we have moved into this stage of “Faux Leadership.” What I mean by that is the generation we have now of Agency Directors, Police Chiefs, and Sheriff’s would rather save THEIR reputation’s and their hides than the department. I’ll explain further. Law enforcement officers in Mississippi are given a professional certificate much like a license to be a law enforcement officer and it comes with a number assigned to said officer for the entirety of their career no matter how long or short.

What most people don’t know is that if said officer is asked to resign or fired it is up to that agency to purge them from the system by notifying the Mississippi Board on Law Enforcement Minimum Standards. Here’s where the Faux Leadership kicks in.

As I’m many cases LEO’s find better paying jobs, go back to school, or a myriad of other endeavors. There are a small percentage that put the preverbal black eye on the professionals a whole. Committing small policy infractions to begin with then sprouting their wings and committing outright felonies and misdemeanors because they are friends with their supervisors, “Faux Leadership”

I’ve seen violations from stealing time, petit larceny, sex, and sexual harassment. One of these was just elected as a new sheriff in our state, good luck to that county. I hope the board of supervisors has deep pockets.

All because these men and women think they are untouchable because of their position. Frankly it’s not because of their position it’s because of their Faux and Fake Leadership that the are working for. They are allowed to resign or retire and disappear. In all reality the department heads need to do their jobs when they return the Professional Certificates to BLEOST with the Law Enforcement Termination/Reassignment Form is to mark the box appropriate to the situation “resigned to prevent termination,” “resigned prior to, during, or at the conclusion of an investigation” these should make them ineligible for any law enforcement status backed by the state or a department if wrongdoing is proven.

Purge the system of these parasites. Department heads, make the profession worth working again don’t pass these bad apples on to another agency so you can save face. If your hiring processes are substandard beef them up and most of all be REAL LEADERS !

If nothing is done for this conduct unbecoming extreme act (which occur over and over by said female) she has some dirty laundry literally on some elected or appointed politicians.

Anonymous said...

If this is who evidence suggests, her self-posted resume and other online self-promotion is a fair subject of inquiry. Giving a a badge, a gun, and authority over others to a person whose qualifications, aspirations, and predilections are waitress, would-be entrepreneur, would-be "influencer," and oh by the way badass cop might not be the wisest course for those responsible (and potentially liable) for handing out badges, guns, and authority over others. Even if it isn't that person in this situation, it still is a problem. Sean better get a handle on this kind of shit before it gets a handle on him. The full load hasn't hit the fan but the several dollops that have should be a harbinger to responsible management.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 1:23 100%. The problem I have had is the board of minimum standards. I have been in the business a long time. I'm retiring soon too. I have terminated too many people over the years and have done the right thing only to have the board give these people their certificate back to them. I'm talking about egregious things that would get you fired from any job. There are men and women who should never wear a badge and they do get weeded out. It's sad when the oversight board puts them right back into service. You've got good ole boys sitting on that board that are HIRED by a city and appointed by someone that has no idea who the officer is standing in front of them and won't take the word of a Sheriff ELECTED by the people trying to protect the PEOPLE from these thugs and letting them off the hook because and I quote "The same thing might happen to me one day". Welcome to the great state of Mississippi. Retirement looks good. I can take care of me and mine. I feel sorry for the rest of you that are going to have to deal with the regression of the profession.

Anonymous said...

@9:27 - Sheriff Bailey... is that you? If not, I wouldn't put Sheriff's up on such a pedestal. They aren't the cream of the crop themselves.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
