It has come to light that CNN, and various others, supposed, news organizations had prior knowledge of the 10/7 attack, but made no effort to warn the Israeli people. This knowledge was not forward to the citizens, simply because these, supposed, news organizations wanted exclusive coverage.

My question is, should these, supposed, news organizations, and the people that had prior first-hand knowledge of these attacks, go without punishment for the slaughter, by HAMAS, of innocent Israeli citizens?

This is where all those who beat the drums of war unleash horror. They act on emotion, usually anger and pride. They do not think of consequences or reactions. They paint everyone with the broad brush of " with me or against me" and are deaf to reason.

The old saying of "Revenge is a dish best served cold" means, you can avoid unforeseen consequences and end the "problem" better if you take enough time to think things through.

Safely evacuating civilians (at least women,children and old people) may have been possible but we'll never know. World pressure on HAMAS to free hostages including on the countries that give them arms and shelter may have worked. We will never know.

What I do know with certainty is that another World War ends the planet. That's not just because of the risk of some idiot going nuclear. It's because (and most of us should just look out our windows to see our dead trees and plants), a war is fueled by all the resources that also are needed to sustain us. Every war has created shortages and hardships for even civilians not in the actual war zones.

The smoke from the fires of bombs contain contaminants. The contaminants are not just in the smoke after a while. They are in the air. Wind currents don't know geographical boundaries. The contaminants fall in the rain. There is a cumulative effect.

Each of you know that you can get but so many dental X-rays a year as mild an exposure as that is . You know you can't take but so much chemical exposure to your skin or in medicines. You know that keeping bleach on your skin all day every day would be awful. But you still deny that a contaminant that doesn't decay or evaporate and can get into all sources of water is suddenly benign because YOU can't SEE it.

So it's in Rukia's best interest and EVERYONE"S to STOP REACTING EMOTIONALLY and THINK THINGS THROUGH! Protests here aren't helping! HELP would be trying to find the best solutions for all Palestinians and ALL Israelis. It's has to START BY LOOKING FOWARD not BACKWARDS. THERE ARE NO DO OVERS.

They killed over 1,400 Israelis. I hate to say it but you have to write off the hostages. Do what you can to free them within reason but it shouldn't guide the response or policy.

Maybe you don't remember the Iranians hostages when those motherfuckers held ours for how many days? As for bombing areas, it is well-known Hamas places their assets around schools and hospitals. Suppose Hitler or the SS has placed their assets around similar places. Yes, but everyone seems to focused on the wrong word. These clowns didn't see "Palestine," they saw "FREE" and it was off to the races. All or most of them wouldn't know "Palestine" from Pakistan, but "FREE" they got-danged-sure know.
