After 3-4 nights in the county jail he won't be so tough, but he will learn how to squeel like a pig while wearing his jail issued knee pads.
Not a hate crime and won’t ever be investigated as a hate crime.
It had nothing to do with the victims race or where he was.
Unlike if the situation were reversed, it would be a hate crime and the FBI would already be involved.
This tragic incident did not happen inside the city limits of Raymond.
But glad an arrest was made though. Seems like good police work on the part of HCSO.
What are CID investigators? Thank you.
Anyone heard of a motive? The teenagers now days seem to be case-hardened in the wrong way. The killers are getting younger, and younger.
12:01, what about this makes you think it’s a hate crime?
Because the general election is over, the sheriff won't be holding any pressers. Right Tyree?
Now it’s in Jody Owen’s court, expect nothing to happen, he’ll drop it in a year.
CID = Criminal Investigation Department/Division
7:30 am on a Monday morning is mighty early for teens to be involved in a confrontation that result in a death. Unless he was shot earlier and found later!
Good job investigators! Just make sure you have the right person. These cowards don’t travel alone! They can’t think for themselves and listen to some fool to tell them to shoot!
Then they look real stupid!!! Dummy!
Prayers to both families for your loss.
"12:01, what about this makes you think it’s a hate crime?"
He didn't say or suggest it was a hate crime. He suggested that if the races were reversed, it WOULD automatically be considered a hate crime, and the FBI would descend right away.
He didn't mention, that if the races were reversed, Sharpton, Jackson and the NAACP along with Crump and three other black lawyers would be circling like buzzards, but that's reality as well.
Agree with 3:22.
Seems there is always "evidence" to support hate crime when the races are reversed. I'm not implying this case was, just pointing out the absurdity, over use and misapplication when the races are reversed.
The real crime, if you ask me, is THAT HOUSE! Doghouse Gable Ends are bad-enough, when they're regular-sized. But to exaggerate them? ...like the giant zipper flies on last year's women's pants? (worn beltless, no less, so that the effect was even more clownish: I bought no pants, last year...)
And why even have gables, when there are no windows or vents in them? More surface area for the stuck-on rocks? I know we're talkin' South Jackson, here, but really! I know that if you go to Hinds, and major in Drafting, you become an AIBD-certified "professional". (as I remember it, the second thing they teach new members in Chi Omega and the Junior League, is to NOT hire people like that) But truly, the Hinds Crowd should try less to earn the 'American Institute of Bad Designers' moniker.
And speaking of Doghouse Gable Ends, what's with the Madison Chipotle? It looks like a 1960s FHA-minimum-standards Colonial-style spec house (complete with doghouse gables), repurposed as an eatery. I know that Mildred's (specializing in Fried Chicken, like most eateries in Madison), in 'Mildred Pierce', was a repurposed 1940s Colonial Saltbox. But that was the movies, and Mildred's, once remodeled, shared nothing with the original, except white paint (and had the entire Set Department at Warner Brothers, to make it look not-totally-ridiculous).
