Ok, the Google AI bots are flagging the post below due to the nature of the post. So...... just the indictment, booking sheet, and lawsuit are posted below. Sad one has to do this but this is what happens when control is given to AI. Jerks.
The guardian sued the school district and former teacher. She claimed the school district did not notify law enforcement. Ridgeland police told JJ that the guardian, not the school district, notified RPD of the alleged incident. RPD investigated and forwarded the case to the District Attorney. The Madison County grand jury returned an indictment.

Does that mug shot have Hatchett's sex as "F"?
This former teacher felt comfortable to do what was alleged by the student. Must be the atmosphere/climate of said school. I wonder who’s next to go out the door!
Somebody got their head up their asses!
He was a teacher but booking sheet says "some college." WTF? Did they lower the bar for EEO points?
Lots of people need to be fired over this
11:37, are you seriously suggesting that there is a general “atmosphere/climate” of un-isolated sexual misconduct by this school’s staff against its students?
If so, then why don’t you share for the rest of the group where you get your tinfoil hats from.
"Does that mug shot have Hatchett's sex as "F"? "
Absolutely. Anyone know why?
This guy needs a visit from the Goon Squad
Where are the goonies when you need them?
What about gluckstadt high female teacher? Any updates on that? Other than seeing them around Jackson like nothing happened. Seems like Madison County School District has a culture of quietly firing the teacher and leaving law enforcement out of it.
This is old news. He was arrested in May. The only thing new is the civil suit.
This sounds bad but Toby Gammill is desperate and will file anything
11:44 when you can freely send/take a student to the teachers lounge and commit alleged sexual acts. I surmise the teacher in question was real comfortable in doing so. And what made the teacher so comfortable? The atmosphere! He felt his surroundings were comfortable enough that he could take advantage of the student on school campus. The only way you will know that this is an isolated incident is to talk to the staff and students if you really want to hear what they have to say.
I really hate this happened, that’s just my comment and opinion.
If these low-life did this to one of my kids I would go all "goon squad" on him.
@12:15pm - Wtf is gluckstadt high?
The teacher at Germantown...not Gluckstadt High did not technically break the law so no prosecution. she is fired AF though and lost her teaching license
Since when do alleged perps get charged with sexual battery, arrested and released the same day, on $0.00 bond?
My bad. $45,000 bond. I guess the $.00 bond posted was a clerical error. You think?
So the intake report shows an “F” next to see…bald, full beard and they put an “F”……
I cannot fathom any circumstances under which MCSD chose not to report this incident to the authorities. Hubris, culture, you can’t lay a finger on MCSD?? Some suggested that’s what they do, fire the employee and keep it quiet. If there is a shred of truth to any of that, they deserve to get hammered.
@12:17 Toby is seeking "loss of past and future wages" of this middle school kid here. What a joke. Do attorneys not proofread their pleadings?
“Some college” as in some college somewhere but we don’t have the name of it yet, or some college as in a week, month, semester? You’d be surprised at some of the “coach/teacher” hires under emergency licensing. I’m curious as to why the biological mother has a court-appointed guardianship. A multi million dollar estate? Special needs? If and big IF it’s sped, that’s bad. What can you get in punitive damages against a school district these days?
1. Who in HR hires a teacher with 'teeth missing'?
2. Kingfish doesn't have the balls to post followup on the teacher who was diddling her swim student.
That is one ugly woman.
No one calling for the principal to resign?? No one labeling all teachers bad now??? Fukin hypocrites
10:23 - You can bet the principal did not make the decision to leave the police out of this. Look higher a couple of boxes on the Org Chart.
Is the suspect/former teacher a man or woman? Is the victim a boy or girl? So much contradiction. The prison in his/her future needs to know how to categorize him/her as someone's wife or husband.
Charlotte Seals is being allowed to "retire" at the end of the year. She'll get all of her parties and well wishes and hopefully never be seen again in this county.
She has been awful for Madison County Schools. But she's a Junior Leaguer who has installed her JL friends in key positions so she gets a pass.
I completely blame the condition of Germantown schools on her.
the guardian is the mother but I had to play around with wording because of the damn AI crap.
Charlotte Seals is a product of affirmative action and nothing more. She is not in her position due to merit.
If true, Seals leaving the building is good news, but where can we find validation of that?
District told WLBT it notified law enforcement. Not true. Checked with RPD and it was mother, not district, who notified RPD.
Also it would be interesting to see if the number of residency checkers have gone up or down under her tenure.
So, Seals has allowed hundreds of 'out of district' students into the system while JPS is losing students. Connect them dots.
