Vivek Ramaswamy is a 38-year old American entrepreneur who is running to be the GOP presidential candidate in 2024. He is a star who is beginning to shine brightly because he’s cutting through all of the politics that have been ruining America for more than a hundred years.
Ramaswamy lists ten points he calls Truth on his website: 1) God is real. 2) There are two genders. 3) Human flourishing requires fossil fuels. 4) Reverse racism is racism. 5) An open border is no border. 6) Parents determine the education of their children. 7) The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind. 8) Capitalism lifts people up from poverty. 9) There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four. 10) The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.
Whether people agree or not, these points are not only clear and succinct, but they direct our attention back toward times when Americans were freer from all levels of government control. There was a time when these points were opinions shared by many. Today all ten have been cancelled by popular political policies and heralded as backward, extremist, evil, and dangerous deplorable dogma.
In case you’re wondering, Ramaswamy’s allusion to a fourth branch of government is the bureaucracy which runs and controls everything. The bureaucracy has grown to control the legislative and administrative branches particularly over the past 90 years, with little interference from the judicial branch.
More recently Americans have suffered from more than two years of bureaucracies’ reacting to “emergencies” by enacting unconstitutional powers. Wear a mask or else! Lock down at home or else! Maintain personal spacing or else! Take the vaccines or else! Change voting laws by administrative fiat and damn the Constitution!
Ramaswamy’s tenth point, “The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.” For a long time now, no one in government has followed or abided by the Constitution. Yes, the U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms if it is followed as the ruling authority. The Biden administration has made the Constitution a sham. Many view the Constitution as a “flawed document” and not worthy of any oath to defend it.
Can today’s Democrats challenge any of the ten points? That would be an interesting debate!Americans will never hear counter points to Ramaswamy’s Truth. Fact checkers in the media have already declared these opinions to be outside of established community standards. Gatekeepers in the media don’t know any audience who not only agrees with the opinions, but who agrees with Ramaswamy all ten are Truth. They won’t waste any time on non-issues like these.
Perhaps the first GOP debate of the 2024 campaign will propel some of these points into the public dialogue. Of all the Republican candidates so far, Ramaswamy has conducted the most positive campaign, refusing to take the bait to go negative against his competition or his detractors. That’s refreshing!
Americans are more than ready to move beyond business as usual in politics and government. Many of us want to see plans for the future. We’re ready for a revolution to free us from the tyranny of the establishment’s control. We don’t trust the government or the media. We want a leader who knows the Truth.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, 'Fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again.'" George W. Bush
It’s been reported that Rami has a spotty voting record.
I got one problem with him DL, he is promising to pardon Trump!
This kook Ramaswamy says Al Queda didn’t attack us on 9/11. Historically, the treasonous lunatics who make this claim will tell you that President Bush or Vice President Dick Cheney are responsible for 9/11.
He has already been paid off by one of the most dangerous democratic billionaires once. He could be bought again.
One thing fer sher ...
This D.L. from Starkpatch does great at finding false prophets!
I nothing about this guy except what DL Gardner wrote, but this guy has good points. Simple points, but good points. Points all should know already, but good points.
RMQ
This guy is a bad take factory. Go home, DL
Looks like Gardner has turned his back on Trump, must be something to it! He is most wise.
Free speech, just try that in a small town.
Vivek is a talented promoter/salesman but an amateur in leadership and not very deep in his convictions.
I prefer DiSantis first, then Trump, but will vote for the GOP nominee regardless.
He's done once Trump starts referring to him as
"Ramada-Swampy".
WOW. Lots of Fondrenites on the board today, that's for sure. Rather than referring to CNN and MSNBC talking points, try doing a little research on VR yourself (of course, that will be quite difficult, as so much now runs through Google "fact checkers" and "misinformation/disinformation/malinformation" censoring algorithms.
The scholarship VR took was a VERY broad financial offering that was put in place by a Soros entity. VR didn't come from money, and he was in no way endorsing or becoming beholden to Soros by taking the same money that thousands of others took. Furthermore, if Soros' goal was to influence VR with that money, he failed miserably.
On 9/11, there are still PLENTY of questions about what happened on 9/11 that haven't been addressed (and certainly haven't been answered), so it in no way disqualifies someone running for president to ask questions!
And as for pardoning Trump, he qualified that statement: he said that, based on what the indictments claim, he would pardon him. However, if more things come out that weren't specified in the indictment, he would reserve judgement on that. Look people, love Trump or hate him, about half of the country is behind him, and they believe he's been wronged. Badly. That being said, a VR presidency could stand to heal the HUGE divide in this nation by pardoning a political figure of that magnitude. And this country desperately needs healing!
Unless you want a civil war, you need to start thinking about this stuff. The left is goading everyone they can to push it that way, and if it gets set off, it's going to be damn hard to stop..........and NONE of us should want another civil war!
I'm glad that I don't have to rely on D L Gardner for anything in my life. I don't think his flag goes all the way to the top of the pole.
America genuinely needs more people like Ramaswamay but just not Ramaswamay.
Nikki Haley neutered him.
Geez, if Gardner ever writes a column dissecting Hitler, many of you will defend Adolph.
From all appearances Vivek is the only candidate with any real ideas to fix the problems destroying America. If you want Pence or any of the rest of those guys you want business as usual - except for that evil Biden! Folks, Biden is of course terrible. Things have no doubt gotten worse. But it's just a ramping up of our inevitable crash due to money printing and foreign interventionism. Don't forget Trump started the increase in inflation by sending out all that helicopter money during the plan-demic.
Best Vivek quote from the debate - Vivek to Nikki Haley: “I wish you success on your future career on the boards of Lockheed and Raytheon".
@3:13, so there will be a civil war if Trump is convicted and sent to jail? I am 100% sure that is complete BS. Our country and its people are better and stronger than that.
Biden is about to roll out an all-new covid vaccine that will become mandatory for everyone. He said even if you already had the triple jab, still gotta get this one and he said, quote "this one works"
Prime time for someone radical to get elected with the front running jokes we have now
“That being said, a VR presidency could stand to heal the HUGE divide in this nation by pardoning a political figure of that magnitude.”
The fact that you think a republican pardoning another republican after seeing almost no evidence will heal a large divide completely disqualifies you from having a salient point.
The thing that most people tend to forget is that during a debate they can and will say anything they think might bring in a few votes. They do not actually mean that what they are telling people they would do if elected is what they are now saying. Most are just out right lies.
Anyone remember what Biden said in a debate? He said, and expected people to believe him, that his son has never received any money from China. The news media agreed with him and said anyone who disagreed with him and them was lying. Biden even said Trump was the only person receiving money from China.
We all see how true that was.
Funny how the old adage: "Anyone can grow up to be President" has become complete bullshit. Now, it's "any outsider to the system cannot become President."
The Federal government is broken, and all of the branches need pruning. Further, when the entire Congress votes straight down party lines, those political parties have way to much power and influence. The same with lobbyists.
But, try to talk about term limits and a balanced budget, or election, immigration, and lobbying reform with ANY politician -- you get crickets. It's not in their best interest.
I can't believe I agree with Krusatyr, but he's right about Vivek.
Vivek's "positions" more than a few times were just so bizarre and fantastical, that's it's clear he hasn't a clue about our Nation's history or laws and certainly not WHY certain laws are on the books nor does he understand our Constitution.
That some of you would have another Civil War, means you learned nothing from the first one. You STILL avoid understanding WHY the South lost. Somehow you think you will have the strategic and munitions advantage and worse, this time only 35% of the population will join you. The rest of us know you are completely NUTS! All that will happen is what has happened so far. You'll end up dead or behind bars. Smart, strategic thinkers win wars, not cultist zealots (see Hitler), Stalin got lucky ...first with Lenin and then WWII change of sides and a world too fatigued with war to stop him.
Your threats don't impress me. Even some GOP loyalists in the military will bow out with the likes of Mike Flynn as their commanding general and SURELY you don't imagine YOUR guy won't pick someone who'll bow to him. Nor will career military believe a bunch of thugs and weekend warriors are who they want to have their back!
It's more than a bit ironic to hear the party that got rid of campaign finance reform and benefits the most from PACS, is upset about it.
It was those Federalists judges you love that your party put on the court that made campaign reform " unConstitutional". Worse, you believe that their latest " help" to you in "voting reform" will not end up with YOU having no vote.
You all really ,really need to read some non-fiction history texts.
“.and NONE of us should want another civil war!”
I am in full agreement, no civil war, but not everyone feels as we do. There are some that would have no problem forcing their will on people like you and me. Some even post on this board. In their convoluted mind, they know better than the rest of us, and it would be for our own good. Just ask them.
"Vivek's "positions" more than a few times were just so bizarre and fantastical", since you are so convinced of this statement, would you post a few examples?
Does anyone else think Vivek sounds like Wink Martindale on diet pills?
So many empty and disturbing words so very fast.
Like Hannibal Lecter went to auctioneer's school!
Biden did not say the new vaccine will be mandatory. He said he hopes everyone takes it. Big difference.
Here is an eye-opening article on ZH about how Nikki Haikey went from having less than $15k on savings and over $500k in debt to being worth a few hundred million. Basically, after leaving the Trump admin she went full neocon Warhawk influence peddler for the MIC and Mossad.

@11:24 AM
I disagree. I see someone who is better informed than you. I watched his interview with Tucker. I agree with 99% of his points. My biggest problem is that his voting doesn't jive with his words. His words are only meaningless if you are an ill-informed consumer of propaganda.
Prior to y'all grabbing muskets to slay each other, please consider first doing a practice campaign wiping out the Cartels and drug labs in Northern Mexico. Perhaps clear a ten mile neutral zone, on the Mexican side, from San Diego to Brownsville. Then come back as hardened warriors to draw down on each other.
Can anyone explain how Vivek makes his money in two paragraphs or less?
Or use three paragraphs and use at least one to describe what goes on in Bermuda?
Hint: When you make guys like Mitt Romney look like they are the ones who are principled players you ight have a problem running for POTUS.
I'm a conservative. I believe too many in the GOP are not.
I've been reading and listening to a lot of Vivek. I really like his plainly stated, unapologetic values and most of his policies (assuming he's being honest about them - I'm middle aged and have become very jaded on that).
He makes me hopeful about millenials and the future. He's not a politician. He has the humility and intellect that Trump lacks, and bandwidth for the future.
The reason he's being viciously attacked by the Trumpeteers and the left is they are terrified of him... a conservative person of color. The 'progressives' save their most bitter vitriol for POCs of color. Buckle your seatbelt, Vivek...
August 27, 2023 at 10:52 AM, what party had the majority on the Supreme Court when that ruling was made?
Vivek's appears to be yet another snake oil salesman and for some reason all the republican fanbois and gurls are having orgasms again!
@7:48
I’m a True Conservative and I don’t think it is right for Vivek to attack Nikki Hailey for earning millions to protect our Greatest Ally.
Haley’s primary income, aside from speaking engagements, is from United Against a Nuclear Iran, an advocacy group shrouded in secrecy.
The group, which has lobbied for military strikes on Iran, is advised by Zohar Palti and Tamir Pardo, two former Israeli intelligence officials
The Department of Justice previously intervened in a lawsuit to prevent the disclosure of United Against a Nuclear Iran's donors, claiming that doing so would "cause harm to national security."
I don’t see any conflict of interest here. Why would anyone criticize someone for earning millions as an agent of a foreign nation while running for president? What’s next? Are we going to start criticizing members of congress for having dual citizenship with that same ally?
"Can anyone explain how Vivek makes his money in two paragraphs or less?"
Yes, but for whatever reason the Kingfish didn't approve it. I won't bother retyping it or the thoughts/comments appurtenant.
Sure, a lot of people want a new country and government or a different country and government or a country and government more aligned with themselves culturally, Right or (less likely) Left. But nobody thinks having such is worth losing his (and almost never her) own life over; besides, The Game is coming on this weekend. Better to leave change to others but only so long as they can have it started and wrapped up before SportsCenter comes on.
To be clear: Gardner is talking about the Vivek that said: the Constitution won the American Revolution six years before its ratification by the states. Got it.
Also, this is the guy who went on Chuck Todd's show to say how Pence should have handled the vote: Pence should have proposed and passed a general federal overhaul of our election process and then apply those reforms ex post facto to the results of the 2020 election, "serving up" these new results to the prez who was then occupied with overturning the Republic in half a dozen ways. Really? Does he have any clue?
You people think this guy has rational, simple ideas?
Here's Vivek on American history: Do we really know Custer was killed by indigenous soldiers? How do we know it wasn't the Vikings?
This guy is a clown. He's insane.
Never trust a billionaire who says, "it's really just this simple"
