Was Shivers the MSU recruit that Deuce popped in the Egg Bowl pregame fight at Starkville. I was sitting in the upper deck and i have never seen anyone bleed that much. He went DOWN

Funny. To me. I hope Wes never spots you on the Rankin roads somewhere sometime and pulls you over for the serious crime of “weaving” or improper equipment or failure to give adequate signal. That whole freedom of the press thingy doesn’t fly in LEOland.

What about a cage fight between him and Mardis. Winner gets to brag about being the most awesomeness ever.

Glad the FBI task force sat his ass. Hopefully the sheriff will follow suit and send his ass home for several days without pay.

@949 with the feds breathing down RCSO throats, I don't think WES will do anything stupid- for a while... Hopefully Bailey stuck him somewhere away from the public eye.. Wes needed to be humbled....Tuck your head down big guy...

I keep getting tickled at the people who come on here and defend the likes of him and Mardis and Goff and the other slew of Jackson Bullies. These people are grown ups and should act like it. I fought and acted a fool a little between ages 16-19 but I grew up. I am 50+ now and would be mortified to get in a fight like this. Honestly, I would be embarrassed to simply be identified on flag island at my age. I don't know Wes but I have secondary embarrassment for him. I would retire form the RCSO, dye my hair, change my name and move to northern NM onto a small ranch. That level of embarrassment.

I would pay for a ticket to that show 9:59.
Not a bad way to fundraise for Mardis' legal fees.

@10:08 -- That is the truth!! I'm totally embarrassed for him too! Grow up!

Dude seems to have some anger control issues and likely has an untold number of concussions from football and MMA. Hope his family is safe.

Totally agree with 10:08. Under 21, drunk fighting is somewhat excusable. If we’re being honest, a lot of us have been there. Rarely is anyone hurt. The dudes fighting are usually so drunk they mostly miss.

Fighting after about junior year in college is a red flag. Fighting after the age of 30 is invariably a sign of someone with deep problems resulting in a lack of self control. Men over 30 in fights look like maniacs unless they clearly couldn’t avoid it, which is exceptionally rare. The man in this video looked like a drunk maniac.

Over the age of 45 I don’t see how someone can come out of a fight uninjured. The winner is probably going to break his hand. The loser a head injury. Shoulders and knees could be shredded.

Hell the whole reason for his meltdown is because he couldn’t handle the hit his ego took from getting beat up just minutes earlier. He felt entitled to a rematch. What a douche bag!!!

I’ve know Wes for a long time. I definitely wouldn’t want to go toe to toe with anyone his size. It’s obvious he has an anger issue problem that I hope he can get resolved. There are certainly times when a LEO has to use force but it can’t be with an uncontrolled rage. I hope he makes an adjustment for his sake and anyone he might unnecessarily seriously injure.

I’m not defending anyone on the recent KO but I was an eye witness to what occurred to Shivers at MSU. I was about 50’ away and looking directly at Shivers when Duece blindsided Wes with his helment and then ran away like a scalded dog. Then hid behind the Ole Miss bench.

So, it appears we have the makings for a Blindsided Part Deux or Blindsided x Deuce. I'm shopping the title for a friend.

Repetitive appeals to the prurient interests of the least common human denominator really do run the risk of coming off as overgrown adolescent behavior.

Ok let’s lay this out
If I was a 50 year old LEO my Saturday would look like this…..
Get up Saturday and eat a good breakfast. Go outside and mow the yard and trim the bushes. Eat a good lunch and cook off some. Then maybe pressure wash the porch and driveway. Sometime around 330 start having a few beers and taking pride in what I had accomplished. I would negotiate with the wife that I would grill some steaks if she would make potatoes (the cowboy Rowling way) we would enjoy that. I might have had one too many at this point but we would watch outlaw Josey wales and go to bed around 10. Sunday morning I would wake up and tell my wife about a horrible dream I had where I got pigeon dropped on flag island and everyone was now making fun of me. I would think thank goodness that’s a dream and we would eat Cracker Barrel for breakfast. But no…..let’s hit the river honey I’m a bad ass

Nice dream. I miss the Cracker Barrel too.

For a non-football week, there's lots for Ole Miss and State folks to rib each other about. But I'll take the Tuohy's over Shivers any day.

For the comment at 2:55 that is an outright lie. I can't believe you have the nerve to make that up about Deuce when the damn fight at the Egg Bowl is viewable online. You literally see Wes coming towards Deuce and Deuce landing a right hook and knocking that cave dwelling redneck the hell out. No helmet, nothing of the sort just Wes getting his ass beat at Scott Field. True Maroon=True Buffoon.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
