Bill Crawford: Numbers and FDA Approvals Make Case for Mandates

The numbers showed 2,469 of the 2,510 Mississippians who died of Covid between January 1 and August 4, 2021, had not been vaccinated. That’s 98%.

The numbers showed 99% of Mississippians contracting Covid since January had not been vaccinated. And, just last week 87% of those hospitalized from Covid had not been vaccinated.

Authorized for emergency use last December, vaccines became the best way to avoid getting Covid and greatly reduced its severity when contracted.

Still, the numbers show only 39% of Mississippians vaccinated, one of the nation’s lowest rates.

The numbers show the Covid delta variant pushed new cases in Mississippi to record highs this fall, disrupting schools and businesses once again.

This variant has shown that Covid can mutate into more dangerous forms. Beware the “mu” variant. It may be the next high risk mutation.

Health officials say more than 80% of the population needs to be vaccinated to stop the spread of Covid and hinder future mutations.

The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) has recommended all Mississippians age 12 and up get vaccinated. It and state health officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs have undertaken monumental efforts to make this happen.

But, as that 39% vaccination rate shows, many remain reluctant even as cases and deaths mount up.

On August 23rd the FDA issued full approval for the Pfizer vaccine. Other full approvals are expected soon.

This will put a new issue on the table for state health officials.

State law (MS Code 41-23-37) provides, “The state health officer shall specify such immunization practices as may be considered best for the control of vaccine preventable diseases.” Schools are required to comply. The Mississippi IHL Board requires its universities to comply.

Once more vaccines get full approval, will state health officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs and the MSDH take the next step and make vaccines mandatory for schools and, consequently, for universities?

The issue has already hit the table for universities.

The IHL Board met August 27th in emergency session to consider mandating vaccines. It did not. A press release said the board relied on MSDH’s recommendation dated August 4, 2021, 19 days before Pfizer got full approval. It said, “MSDH recommends that all eligible students, faculty, and staff receive COVID-19 vaccination.”

Despite efforts by two board members with health backgrounds to require vaccinations, nine members voted to simply recommend vaccines for students, faculty and staff (except for the University of Mississippi Medical Center where they required vaccinations).

Meanwhile, the University of Mississippi faculty senate appears likely to call for mandated vaccinations later this month. Thirty universities around the country have already mandated vaccinations.

Note: That same August 4 memorandum to universities says, “MSDH directs that masks be worn universally indoors for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.”

“Directs?”  Hmmm.

This shows an MSDH willing to require action in a state with a reluctant governor and many anti-maskers and anti-vaxers.

Once more vaccines get approved, will this willingness lead the beleaguered Dr. Dobbs and MSDH to “direct” schools and universities to require vaccinations?

The numbers say they should.

“And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing” – Luke 9:2.

They are pushing a fourth shot in Israel, how many shots should be mandated Bill, can I call you Bill since we're apparently close enough for you to feel in charge of what gets injected into my body, Bill.

Yes! And we also need to mandate the vaccination of every mammal on the planet because as long as their are animal reservoirs we will never be safe from this plague.

That is literally why we haven’t eradicated bubonic plague is because it survives in unvaxxed animals.

State law allows the MSDH to mandate shots for “vaccine preventable diseases.” It cannot reasonably be said that COVID-19 is a “vaccine preventable disease,” at least not yet. Furthermore, more and more studies are showing natural immunity from prior infection is superior to the vaccine immunity in terms of infection, sickness, hospitalization and death; yet we can only guesstimate the number of people who may have natural immunity because “science” is more concerned with the vaccines. I’m fully vaccinated, but also believe we have a ways to go in terms of understanding vaccinated and natural immunity before we allow Dr. Dobbs to mandate the Fauci ouchie for everyone 12 yo and up.

Using the Lords name in vain again Bill.

Panties in a pious wad again, 2:13?

While "they" may not be able to mandate vaccinations, they can make proof of vaccinations mandatory for entering in public places as protection of others. The logic is exactly the same as banning smoking in public places.

Comparing vax vs unvaxxed from January 1 is bogus. Start the count in April when it became available.

Not exactly the same... Smoker has the option to abstain while in the public establishment or take a smoke break outside and later return inside. He/she is not barred entry because they smoke.

Now if they had to have a mandatory test on 4 or 6 month intervals to prove no nicotine in their system prior to entry, then perhaps we could say the logic is the same. After all, the smoker would be exhaling residual/latent smoke etc. in the restaurant and subjecting others to toxins (albeit in small concentrations)

Bill - you do know the FDA approved Pfizer vaccine is not the same vaccine as the FDA EUA Pfizer vaccine don’t you?

If only the FDA weren’t a complete and utter joke!! Their approval means NOTHING! They “approve” numerous, harmful things for Americans to consume that other countries ban. The U.S. government does not have its citizens’ best interests at heart. Anyone with a lick of sense knows this. The FDA provides approval to the deepest pockets, no matter the harm to the public.

Probably 90 per cent vaccinated actually. Lies abound. Variants and virus load 250 times higher in vaccinated. We were conned. The spike proteins will damage the vaccinated . This is experimental gene therapy. Not a weakened pathogen “vaccine”. The immune system weakened so the jabbed should not take any further vaccines at risk of death. Research yourself -start with inventor Robert Malone MD of MNRA. Says jab very bad idea and no chance of elimination of respiratory virus even if serum was a “vaccine”. Bitchute has other sources that are not censored. Medical system has contributed to thousands of deaths by not offering Ivermectin and hydroxycholo. $$incentive payments a cause there as well as CD C , NH I , etc

Last summer, sfgate (out of San Francisco, naturally) was running a shamelessly overwrought article on the "Pandemic". Along with descriptions of "everybody" swelling up so bad their skin was splitting... and on and on... they quoted an "expert" who warned that, "if Covid makes it into the SQUIRREL population, we're in big trouble".

Bill, if you read this, note that you are now my enemy. I take my enemies very seriously. We need to meet up somewhere and discuss how we go forward from this.

For the month of August 2021, 13% of hospitalizations and 13% of deaths involved fully vaccinated persons. See table for Vaccinated States of COVID-19 Cases, Hospitalizations, and Deaths at http://kingfish1935.blogspot.com/2021/09/the-state-of-pandemic-in-mississippi.html.

the "vaccine" is more of a therapeutic so are we really willing to go down this rabbit hole of mandating therapeutics?! To quote the philosopher Jacobim Mugatu, "I feel like I am taking crazy pills!"

according to UMMC data published this morning, 20% of COVID patients are vaccinated.. I check the numbers daily and that percentage has been ever slowly increasing...

The numbers are in ? How can the numbers be in if out of those deaths mentioned above, they don't show the victims physical health ? Like if they were obese, addicts, immune comprimised, heart issues, diabeetus etc..... I don't know but it seems those numbers are damn well important ! Oh yeah, keep ignoring the fact that we are now up to 4 shots. Vaccine indeed. I get it, those already vaxxed have but one direction to go so they are dug in with the finger pointing. Get like me or else. I choose freedom of choice.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
