Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey issued the following statement.
This morning at approximately 8:00 a.m., agents with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Gregory Montreal MAGEE in Jackson for the death of Michael Crumbly of Brandon. MAGEE was transported to the Rankin County Jail and booked on the charge of “Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Injury/Death” MS Code 63-3-401. Gregory Montreal MAGEE will appear before Rankin County Court Judge Kent McDaniel and District Attorney Bubba Bramlett at which time a bond will be set.
The Rankin County Sheriff’s Office cannot express enough gratitude to everyone involved in this case, from the witnesses, law enforcement agencies, private businesses and district attorney’s office. Cooperation and communication between law enforcement are priceless and was the key to solving this case.
A special thank you to the U.S. Marshals Task Force, the Jackson Police Department and Alpha Specialties Trailer Sales.
I am also extremely proud of the team of hard working, determined deputies that worked on this case day and night to bring closure to the family on this case.

Surprise, surprise.
He shall have his day in court. Innocent until proven guilty. Just because he looks feral doesn't mean he is a criminal.
That's true, 3:43, but you can bet your grandfather's railroad watch that if the US Marshals are involved, it ain't simply a charge of graffiti down to the swingin' bridge at Byram.
