Judge Adrienne Wooten sentenced Dixon to five years for conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Police say Kirschten was sitting in her car at a red light on Fortification Street when she was shot and killed.
The murder happened in 2017.Article
Nicholas Coats testified Dixon sat in the back seat of the car while Jushun "Red" Paige was the shooter.  Coats testified he drove the car as it pulled up next to Kirschten's car.

No surprise here. When blacks kill whites in Jackson, there is no justice. This is Lumumba’s wet dream. Disgusting.

Without succumbing to the invocation of my limited legalese (did he try to prevent the murder or was he truly complicit, etc.) let’s just face the facts and move on. A lovely white girl was murdered for no other reason than she was in Jackson late at night, didn’t have situational awareness, was probably unarmed, and was killed by low-bred punks who aren’t worth the air they breathe who will never pay the righteous judgement they so justly deserve due to the parasitic society and court system that harbors them.

If you're white, get out of jackhole said...

The blessings continue.

Disgust is understandable but not just because this was a white girl. Plenty of black girls and boys are killed in Hinds County and their murders are not valued either. It's bad all around.

This wasn’t a random killing. This was about drugs... nothing random at all...

And to think they are proposing Red Flag laws.

Holy shit !

5 years? I can't believe he wasn't acquitted.

Anyone know what max penalty is for conspiracy? Curious as to whether wootten gave the maximum.

Anonymous said...

1...she gave him the maximum for what he was convicted of

2..there were whites on the jury

3,..problem with these type cases is you don’t have a credible witness so for those suspects who don’t give a statement when they are arrested, they are in better position for trial...same reason Archie kid keeps getting hung juries in Madison for party city murder

I think there were five caucasians on the jury.

Heard DA Owens set in in closing but RSS left suddenly. Leadership matters. Hopefully Jody is serious about accountability and cleans house.

DAs in Hinds County suck. And they just got johnnie Cochran as there boss.

If he was there three days after being elected and four months before being sworn in there might be hope for the tree huger after all. I figured he would show up at the illegal immigrant press conference. Didn’t support him but hope his majority supporters are right about him and the Owens family.

Nicholas Coats was sentenced to 30 years in the case.

Maximum prison time for conspiracy to commit a felony other than murder is 5 years. Miss. Code Ann. § 97-1-1

The jury had no credible evidence that this guy actively participated in the killing or robbery. He was in the car and he didn't stop the killer or leave the scene before the action and that can't be overlooked, so he gets at least a token conviction. It's better than letting him walk, which could have happened. Oh well...

What 8:47 said.

Anonymous said...

You mean to tell me that there was no evidence of accessory after the fact?

Anonymous said...

Word on the street is that Owens has already offered RSS a job.

Anonymous said...

Accessory after the fact requires proof of "intent to enable the felon to escape or to avoid arrest." 97-5-5. I'm not a criminal lawyer, but I believe proving intent is a tough nut to crack, at least it is in civil cases.

Let's see how the recent gang murder in the Ridgeland (Madison county) park turns out. I am willing to bet everyone involved gets more than that wrist spanking. By the way, I am pretty sure they are still in jail with a 1 million dollar bond each.

I’m surprised Dixon had the intestinal fortitude to take the charges to trial.

1. Shows how much some of you know. North Tavern is where people in their 20's go on Thursday nights.

2. Dixon will probably get out in 2.5 years since he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Question: Does he get credit for time served? 5 years was the maximum sentence for conspiracy. He was sitting in the back seat, didn't drive, didn't have a weapon or shoot the deceased, the available evidence just places him in the car talking about robbery and that's it.

3. North Tavern is pretty safe. The Capitol police patrol right there across the street. I've been on that street plenty of times at night with no problems. These guys were in the parking lot and followed them. Security cameras picked it up.

11:13 is the same guy who, for months, swore up and down as to the innocence of the baby killed after being abducted in the Kroger parking lot. No groceries, no receipt, no evidence of her shopping....only that she had spent the night clubbing and headed over to the store to leave him in the car, available. Same guy. Yup.

Kingfish said...

Wow, you're attacking a child?

She was seen in the grocery store. There is video. The deputies spoke to her, the police were there. Put down the sauce.

10:48 Probably had a pretty good lawyer. Grandmama must have shelled out.

Kingfish said...

Nope. Public Defender Chris Routh represents him.

"She was seen in the grocery store". Of course she was. That, after all, was the pre-arranged alibi...to be SEEN. But, after spending thirty or more minutes 'shoppin' for cold meds and such, as she claimed, there was no sack, no items, no receipt, no video of shopping, nothing but a comment. She got away with this as slick as shit going through a goose. But it would have been 'raciss' for anybody to pursue it further.

Anonymous said...

So yeah, he had a damn good lawyer.

I hope this guy is wrong about Soros funded DAs, because if he's correct, then we are going to have some problems.

So Paige doesn’t get a trial?

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
