Corey Smith-13, charged w/ agg. assault, auto theft and armed robbery stemming from the attack/robbery of 61 yr old victim.
Update: two black males detained for questioning regarding stolen SUV/assault, ages 13 and 18. "Possible" third occupant fled on foot.
BOLO CANCELLED: stolen 2016 orange Toyota RAV4 recovered, 3 BM juveniles detained for questioning. Victim still in critical condition.

Start posting the names and addresses of the parents . Let them get fired from thier job or lose welfare or other benifits from the tax payers . Lets be real here it is the only answer for this garbage . If your a crappy parent you should suffer for raising a crappy kid .
3:10, that is what I said yesterday about the Fortification Murder---this will never end---I call it the "Crime Cancer". There are hundreds of kids out there just like this 13 year old. Jackson does not stand a chance. There is no place to hide in this area. We will have to move out of the state to be somewhat safe.
I don't know the location of the crime but the victim is African American.

The victims cousin is commenting on the news articles. Her Facebook page shows pictures of an African American lady claiming she is the victim.
When you are a victim of a crime your color does not matter. It is the criminal that matters. No matter the age of the thug he should have to spend his time in jail.
Of course the parents are at fault. Wonder if the thug even know who his father might be?

"The unidentified woman was reportedly attacked at her home late Tuesday night. A family member told KMBC that after she parked her car and walked toward her house, a man ran over to her, cut her ear off and stabbed her multiple times. The man then reportedly stole the elderly woman’s purse and car keys before driving off in her car. Police said the woman was found in a pool of blood, according to the station. She underwent two surgeries Wednesday and is expected to undergo a third. (Corey) Smith (13) was charged as an adult with aggravated assault, auto theft and armed robbery."
Great -- once again we make national news. I'm kind of tired of out of town friends calling me asking, "WHAT THE HELL GOES ON DOWN THERE? I just tell them I live in a 3rd world country now, run by a socialist mayor and a corrupt sheriff. Send in the clowns!"

$200k bond and lives down the street from the victim per wlbt. No respect and no concern for the victims shown by these judges. Time for the state to move in and do something.
Did anyone see this boy's mother on the local news tonight? If you did it is pretty clear his upbringing contributed to his delinquency. It's a sad day when a parent denies her child's wrongdoing and asks where's the proof her son committed this crime. Teaching right from wrong starts at an early age and is the responsibility of the parents.
Back when Mcmillon was sheriff he had a street crimes unit. They did a pretty good job of suppressing these type of punks and their gangs. Sure wish we had someone like Mac at the SO now. They wouldn't stand for this level of violent crime in Jackson
