Catch & release alert

A Northsider was recently carjacked at a car wash business on I-55 Frontage Road.  The victim posted this message on his or her public Facebook page:

Today I was car jacked at a very nice, well known, Northeast Jackson business. The part of town where I grew up, my grandparents settled there, and my mom grew up as well. I am thankful that my babies were not in the car because he would have taken them with him. God was watching over us today. JPD did an amazing job, and within 30 minutes of making the 911 call, the monster was caught and they recovered my car. I have had many firsts today... being a victim of a crime, I have ridden in 3 police cars today(once in the back), been to my crime scene where he caught my car on fire, and went downtown to write a two page report so this monster will stay in jail. Tomorrow morning I go to court to make sure he stays locked up. I am beyond angry.

Here is a picture of our little hoodlum.  At least he is still in jail- for now.

Now here is his criminal record.  Its a typical rap sheet for a Jackson lowlife.  A series of arrests, convictions, suspended sentences, and little time spent in prison.  Another catch and release special.  Each case has a different hand-written letter in the upper right-hand corner of each page.

No doubt Schuler-Smith and Green doing what they do best to fight crime.......NOT A DAMN THING ! ! ! ! !

I have no sympathy for the victim. She chose her fate by naively remaining in a crime ridden third world when she had the means to live in a safe area.

There is one sure way to stop car jacking. Shoot the person who tries to take your car. You don't have to worry about them being released back to prey on others.

10:34: you are a POS.

If this happens in Rankin DA Guest gives em 30 years.

@10:34 I seriously doubt she, or anyone else, is asking for your sympathy. At least you've learned to act like a grown-up asshat about it. Your parents must be proud...

Her attorney husband will do all in his power to make sure he's locked up I'm sure.

Wonder if this is related to the carjacking/attempted kidnapping at the HV Chevron last month?

What does "No Enhancement" mean?

When is Tomie Green up for re-election?

Yet another reason precinct 4 needs a substation in the Lefleur's East area.

KF, you cleaned up her language a bit, didn't you? She was dropping some bombs on Facebook ;)
11:57, this incident was not at Chevron.
10:34, please go back into your hole.

Which car wash was it?

No, I honestly do not have it and never saw it although I heard about it. When I became aware of the post, that was removed from what I understand.

It is currently turkey season and my shotgun stays with me at all times. I would LOVE for one of these thugs to attempt to car jack me and become a statistic. The liberals in Jackson don't want to say it but the only way to curb this is to start dropping them like flies. And don't give me that "you're a redneck BS", it's not profiling if its the truth.

@10:34. You are obviously not a Christian as evidence by your comments. I will pray for you

The state need to take over the justice system in Jackson rather than the airport.

Lefleur East needs a substation because it is rapidly turning into a crime hellhole. Maybe they'll let JPD set up the substation rent free inside their clubhouse.

For the life of me I cannot understand how Robert-Schuler-Smith and Tonnie Green can get elected by the black community. These two POS are destroying what is left of Jackson.

Anonymous said...

Answer the damned question. This was two weeks ago. Is he in jail or has he been released?

Anonymous said...

Robert SS gets re elected by the hoddy toddy crowd in NE Jackson... they have more money and they do sense...

Rollins is still listed on the online version of the Hinds county jail docket. www.co.hinds.ms.us and drill down.

Why do the Jackson cops even arrest the criminals? Those who are in jail for any amount of time can come and go as they please. Any criminals that want out of jail can walk out anytime they want. If the cops arrest any real criminals they can get out on a $100 bond.

The picture of him in jail was taken from the county website this morning.

RSS may have been elected by some white vote but he lost almost all of it in the last election. Don't think he has forgotten that 2015 fact either.

This must be related to the drive-by shooting in Rankin County

No matter the topic I here, the sad folks in Madison want to hate Jacskon. It's just so tired and sad.

How could the victim call 911 if it was a carjacking? Was it car theft or carjacking? Unclear.

Anonymous said...

Give RSS a break. He been busy arguing with state auditor and AG. So what if some thugs walked while he was so busy.

@7:48pm - the JPD is infamous for misclassifying crimes for political and self promoting reasons. Who knows. The HV Chevron incident was supposedly a car theft, although a ten year old child was in the car and managed to escape before the assailant took off after an altercation w the mother and then the owner of the gas station who was drug several hundred feet by the car. From what I have heard there has been no real investigation in to that crime. Thank god the car wash car jacker was at least caught. The chevron carjacker/would be kidnapper is still on the loose - unless these incidents are related.

No matter the topic I hear, the sad folks in Jackson want to hate the people who had enough sense to leave the crime riddled Jackson. It's just so tired and sad.

KF, I've been doing a lot of research on the last election and what can honestly be done in an effort to truly change the landscape of the DA's office in Hinds County.

Long story short, it's gonna be tough.

248,000 people live in Hinds County; there are 161,531 registered voters. Last election, 45,193 votes were cast in the primary: 35,068 (D) and 10,127 (R). Approximately 50,000 votes were cast in the general election.

In the Democratic primary, RSS received 23,921 votes to SA's 9,779. Republicans stayed loyal during the primary and were too scared of the State Auditor race to come on over to the Democratic primary. And even if 100% of them would have, that still only gives SA 19,000 votes - well short of defeating RSS.

Defeating RSS in the Democratic primary is more than an uphill battle; it's nearly impossible. Everyone who votes for him remembers what his family did during the civil rights era, yet none of them have ever seen him in a courtroom litigating anything. He has the support of the large Jackson churches in a way that makes no sense at all.

So if he can't be beaten in the Democratic primary by someone as qualified as SA, then perhaps someone can beat RSS in the general election? Maybe roll someone out as a Republican to catch the down ticket votes? Well, it sounds possible in theory, but look closely at the numbers.

Last general election in Hinds County alone, 19,530 votes were cast for Phil Bryant. Robert Gray, truck-driver extraordinaire with zero experience doing anything, received a whopping 30,734 votes. Even if 100% of all voters in Hinds County who supported Phil Bryant ended up supporting the DA running as a Republican, there's not enough there to make up the gap.

It will take the communities of Terry, Byram, Clinton, Edwards, Utica, and Raymond even parts of Jackson to get registered voters to get behind a real candidate for there to be any semblance of change.

Until then, we'll continue to beat our heads against the wall and see what happens.

People do not hate Jackson. They hate what has happened to the capital city of Ms. People want new business to move into the state. Would you bring a new business into Ms. when the capital city is in the shape it is now? What business would want to locate in a state where the capital city is a crime ridden cesspool? Who would want to locate in a state where the capital had goat trails instead of streets? Why would a business want to come to a place where there wasn't clean running water in the capital city?
And the kicker, what business would want to move into a state where the capital city has leaders and law enforcement like those we have today. Look at a clip of thug stokes. Look at a clip of the supposedly head of the police dept. Can you name any business, honest business, that would even think about moving here?

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
