Secretary of State Michael Watson issued the following statement.
Today I joined 14 other Secretaries of State to yet again push back on the Biden Administration’s continued gross federal overreach. A jointly signed letter has been sent to President Biden requesting he rescind Executive Order (EO) 14019, which calls for federal agencies to act beyond their Congressionally-specified functions and infiltrate state-run elections.
Biden’s EO directs federal agencies to develop plans to register voters at the state level and to share these plans with the President without first consulting the states.
Our letter cites a lack of Constitutional authority for an EO to direct federal agencies to operate services beyond functions authorized by Congress. It also states that the EO duplicates voter registration efforts already conducted at the state level and ignores procedures outlined in state laws and constitutions.
Neither the U.S. Constitution nor the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) include any such grant of executive authority to the President to require federal agency involvement with state-level voter registration processes. Any actions to reconfigure states’ voter registration duties and responsibilities must be authorized by Congress or the states themselves.

These EOs are initiated by the "people behind the curtain" and then Biden signs them. They know these EOs are blatantly unconstitutional, but if they issue enough of them a few may stick.
Apparently these SOS's have no interest in making it easier to register to vote.
OK, but why would one oppose registering voters...especially when the target for voters registration efforts are young people?
The left wants us to turn in to Russia. We are practically there. I initially was cautious about Trump's claims, but after seeing what has happened in AZ and PA, and 2000 Mules, I am convinced the left want to cheat to no end and make anyone who asks questions automatically be labeled "conspiracy theorist." Sad days ahead! Good job Michael!

So we'll just see about that, now, won't we?
Registering to vote is easy. I did it over 30 years ago as a 18 year old
Oh for God's sake man. its your job to get people to register and to vote. Learn a lesson - look at Georgia, look at Kansas. Make it hard for the people to vote - I'll guarantee they won't forget.
How friggin' easy does it have to get Dees? Some of y'all want to treat our cherished right to vote like it is a half-smoked cig found on the ground.
@11:11
Poll says...Republicans are skeeered of any young voters not registered at an evangelical church!
Kingfish, you are quick to point out when democrats make errors in letters or documents. Please post the actual letter and let your viewers see it. In the second paragraph those secretary of states say citing the U.S. Constitution in quotes...chusing Senators. Do they not know the correct spelling is choosing. Also, the last sentence says "...duties of the state legislatures to their "situational duty within the Election Clause." Surely they meant to say constitutional duty. Who would sign their name to something with these errors. I guess it is like what Morning Joe said yesterday morning and again this morning, "The republican party is now a party of freaks, wierdos, crackpots, and insurrectionists." Let's add incompetents.
Be nice if our elected officials actually did their jobs instead of whining about the Feds, filing stupid lawsuits, embarrassing themselves on TV, etc.
The state doesn't want to make it easier to vote or register for it because of the demographics. Young and black individuals don't vote the same as old white people.
Have to get those illegals registered ASAP in time for the election. Corruption at the highest level and nothing is done about it.
11:21: If a crappy documentary that has been debunked over and over convinces you, then you're as gullible as you sound. Conspiracy theorist, indeed.
11;45, first don't ever confuse me with a Republican apologist, because of the crackpots who now seem to control the party you mentioned.
Second, he provided the link.
Third, "chusing" is the old form of the verb and is actually in the big C.
last, while situational may be confusing and I guess could be an inadvertent spelling of constitutional, it's also apt as it is.
11:21, please go listen to lifelong Republican and Speaker of the House in AZ Rusty Bowers testimony under oath. With tears in his eyes he spoke of the republican machine in the White House pressuring him to cheat and steal the election from the people and give it to Trump. He held fast, like a good American should, and found repugnant the motives of the Trump agents in his own party.
11:45, that is the correct spelling of choosing as quoted from the Constitution, just so's you knows. And the latter is also correct in law. For example, a duty can be pre existing and ongoing or situational.
Who is the incompetent? Apparently you.
Both sides just playing to their base. It’s an election year. After all the crap that went down I’m 2020, how many people could possibly be left that are unregistered but want to be registered but can’t figure out how? Not that there were that many in the first place. They already hit the nursing homes and homeless shelters in 20.
Dese nuts!
If a crappy documentary that has been debunked over and over convinces you, then you're as gullible as you sound. Conspiracy theorist, indeed.

Please let us know your thoughts on Hunter's laptop, Biden's daughter's diary, and "the big guy".h
I really hope that one day the federal government just says okay and stops funding our state. If the citizens of Mississippi understood that the greatest welfare program in the universe is the feds propping up our state agencies and programs they would wonder why these politicians act like the federal government is the boogie man.
Here is an example go to the legislates website and pull the Secretary of States' 2022 budget appropriation SB3052. Watson's office received $12,251,043.00 in State funds and $27,203,069.00 in FEDERAL money.
Yes, the federal government subsidizes this "State" agency by providing more than half its budget.
But you get them Watson!
Watson, Are you giving back the federal money that keeps your agency solvent? If not, bend over.
"Apparently these SOS's have no interest in making it easier to register to vote."
It's hard to register to vote?
DONKEY HOs are already inclined to cheat, all their Donkey pimps need do is provide the tools for their mischief (perpetual early and late voting, remote ballot boxes, ballot harvesting, midnight ballot deliveries to polls, after midnight tallies, black militants at the polls intimidating white voters...), then the HOs will do their trix.
Have to get those illegals registered ASAP in time for the election. Corruption at the highest level and nothing is done about it.
Hey Dumb ass!
Every U.S. citizen who possesses the following
qualifications is eligible to register to vote in
Mississippi:
• A resident of Mississippi and the county, city,
or town for 30 days prior to the election;
• At least 18 years old (or will be 18 by the date
of the next General Election);
• Not declared mentally incompetent by a court; and
• Not convicted of a disenfranchising crime
as defined by Section 241 of the Mississippi
Constitution or by Attorney General Opinion,
unless pardoned, rights of citizenship restored
by the Governor or suffrage rights restored by
the Legislature.
What "illegal" is going to go to the following locations to register to vote, when they do not have proof of being a "legal citizen"?
• Circuit Clerk’s Office;
• Municipal Clerk’s Office;
• Department of Public Safety; or
• Any state or federal agency offering government services, such as the
Department of Human Services.
They're hunting for votes anywhere and everywhere they can find them no matter what. That's not citizenship, that just political hustling. Anyone who wants to be registered can get registered. If they don't feel responsible enough to make the effort to vote, they should not vote. Plain and simple. Citizens have a right to vote. A RIGHT Not an obligation. If the right is being infringed they should address that individual situation when it arises, if it arises, not assume that every simple circumstance is preventing someone from registering and voting. The bottom line is: Biden's bunch knows that the people least likely to get off their ass and perform any right of citizenship are most likely to vote for them. They've got to carry them to the polls.
11:21 and 1:10, Hunter Biden clearly has serious issues with crack and whores (and camera phone usage, it seems). You're too far down the rabbit hole for me to comment on the other two conspiracies, but none of these has anything to do with elections. Everyone with a brain should be skeptical of any republican efforts to manipulate elections after what happened 2 years ago. These SoS officials also have the right to be skeptical of Biden's wanting to usurp their exclusive jurisdiction in the area.
Election time is here. Time for both parties to start crying about cheating, numbers will go up, fuel will go down, BLM will matter again, MeToo, and your owners will say “look what we did/tried to do”. Rinse,Dry, Repeat.
1:37 PM, it must be easy to register to vote as many illegals do so immediately after crossing our border and many people in the U.S. vote several times in each election. Hell, even dead people have no problems registering to vote.
1:50 , you do not think it would have made any difference in the last presidential election if people would have known Hunter's laptop was true and the big guy was getting a % of everything Hunter made off of him? The crooked FBI kept telling people the laptop was a Russian plant done by Trump. If you still do not know about Biden's daughter and what was in the diary the FBI invested so many man hours searching for, you are still lost.
@ 1:45pm
"Anyone who wants to be registered can get registered."
This genius basically just said, Michael Watson, a Republican that is the Secretary of State, the office that oversees elections and maintains voter registration records - allows voter fraud!? LMAO!!
Hey Buttercup, keep telling yourself that, whatever helps you sleep at night
Apparently, they let any idiot vote. Example: the rocket surgeons who think hunter biden is some deep state conspiracy. You deserve to be lied to. You have been lied to
It's President Joe Bidet or Xiden.
Is Sleepy Joe even still alive !
He hasn't been seen in a few weeks.
Sure the United States CCCP will do anything to keep him away
from a camera.
But one should question all of theses "multiple POTUS covid issues" that have changed daily for a few weeks.
The Supreme Court gave the election to the Dems, see Kansas !
Trump issued more EO’s per year than any other president save Carter. Both failed one term losers
Trump lost. Get over it. The country is better off without him.
It is clear that Hunter Biden’s laptop contains:
* All of Hillary’s emails
* A million stolen Trump ballots
* The Secret Service text messages
* Rudy’s hair dye formula
"Trump lost. Get over it. The country is better off without him", sir, ma'am, he/she/it, they/them, if you really believe the country is better off with the shit show running things now, your ignorance knows no bounds.
FYI, you can register to vote, when you sign up for Medicaid.
If you are so lacking in intelligence, that you aren't able to register to vote, you don't need to vote. There, I said it, and I won't back down from it.
"If a crappy documentary that has been debunked over and over convinces you, then you're as gullible as you sound. Conspiracy theorist, indeed."
Proof is above that he has never seen the documentary.

Yes! $4.50 a gallon gasoline is better than $1.25 a gallon gasoline!
Yes! A sack of groceries at $100.00 is better than $65.00 for a sack of groceries!
Yes! Chaos at the border is wonderful!
Yes! Fentanyl flooding our country is great!
Yes! Being considered weak around the world is great!
Yes! It is wonderful to embolden bloodthirsty zealots!
Yes! It is delightful to crush the poor in the US!
It is interesting that the SOS from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona and Michigan did not sign the letter. Georgia's SOS did sign but he is running for re-election.
Some SOS love election fraud.
@9:06, so just because we disagree about Trump, I am ignorant? Open your mind to contrary opinion. You might learn something. I doubt it, but anything is possible.
"It is interesting that the SOS from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona and Michigan did not sign the letter. Georgia's SOS did sign but he is running for re-election.

Kari Lake campaigned on the Big Lie, in the Arizona Gubernatorial Primary. Now the system works when she won. How freakin convenient.
I read and reread my post several times, before I posted it, and after I posted it, and nowhere in the post did I mention Trump. Did I say nowhere, excuse me, I intended to say nowhere?
I said, now I'm typing this slowly, maybe I typed too fast the first post, and you couldn't grasp the full meaning of those large words, I understand. Are you ready?
"Trump lost. Get over it. The country is better off without him", sir, ma'am, he/she/it, they/them, if you really believe the country is better off with the shit show running things now, your ignorance knows no bounds.
I'm going to say you are continuing to showing your ignorance by asking that silly question, either that, are you're mentally challenged.
I have two cats, one kitten, three dogs, and one attack squirrel that would probably do a better job of running the country than the shit show your guy is putting out.
Not only that, but I'm here to tell you, I have seen some shit shows in my time, but in D.C. at this moment in time they have a USDA, grade A, genuine authentic, gold-plated, first class FUBAR, shit show, and they continue to upgrade daily.
You are aware that the country had Trump for four years, and the poster at 11:59 did a little comparison shopping with your approved shit show and blew your guy right out of the water? Yes?
I, personally, don't care one way or another about Donald John Trump, he ain't the Messiah. For you to say the country is better off under the shit show regime we have now is ignorance without bounds.
@9:33, it appears that “shit show” is the extent of your vocabulary. And you call me ignorant?
7:44, limited vocab or not.
Anyone who can type "the country is better off..." (under current leadership) has nothing to say worth reading.
I loathe the orange man almost as much as you and I am all for debate and dialog, but your ilk's ability to toss a baby out with the bathwater knows no bounds.
There are so few sane people left.
