A Jackson Municipal Court judge dismissed charges against several abortion protestors. JPD arrested Dr. Coleman Boyd, nephews Bo and Luke, and niece Sarabeth Boyd last December for various charges of stalking and simple assault to create fear. The group was protesting outside Jackson Women's Health Organization, the only abortion clinic in Jackson.
Judge Jeff Reynolds approved a "settlement" between the prosecution and defendants. The defendants are barred from threatening or following any JWHO employees or Dr. Sacheen Nathan. The court will hold any defendants in contempt who violate the order. The court may incarcerate up to six months or impose a fine of $1,000 or less on any defendants found to be in contempt.

Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Trollfest '07
Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

What a heart-warming story!
boo hoo, the poor baby killer felt stalked. how do you think the baby in the womb feels???? a little like stalking and simple assault as well?
Bo and Luke. Nice.
They got off easy, they're lucky the clinic doesn't want the publicity.
These people are dangerous and need to be locked up. They literally HATE anyone who doesn't believe exactly like they do. They protest not only at the abortion clinic but at shopping centers and restaurants. They claim to be Christians but there is NOTHING Christlike in their hateful behavior. I've encountered them on several occasions with their bullhorns and you can't even understand one word that they're screaming. This judge missed the mark. They love to be arrested and consider it victorious. They are extremely sick people.
I've been outside that clinic protesting abortion. Never once have I had an altercation with a pregnant women nor do I yell names at them. Although I have helped or persuaded many opt to keep the child. Just last week the mother of new the 8 yr old sent me a picture of the kid after he caught a fish and last month after a basketball game of his. Yes nearly all of these are black children. Damn planned parenthood.
they missed a prime opportunity to put Luke and Bo on paper correctly. Its Bo and Luke. Who does this?
1:48, take out the second two sentences and it sounds like you're talking about science-denying, pro-abortion wackos. When Roe was decided (which was never really about abortion anyway, it was about privacy), we didn't have the advanced scientific imaging technology we have today and pro-abortion activists could sell abortion as the destruction of a clump of cells (why else do you think pro-abortion advocates fight bills that require sonograms?) - fortunately we know better now and the tide is turning in favor of life; but nearly 61 million abortions later it is the most tragic public policy ever decided.
@1:48, I read your first two sentences and was sure you were talking about the abortion doctors and their defenders. You can understand my mistake.
2:28 here, I meant if you remove the third and fourth sentences...
Abortion is genocide.
That's John Dowdy's brother in law for what its worth.
1:48 This is perhaps the most vengeful hate spewed lie I have ever read on JJ. Praying for people and offering to help the mothers and the baby is the standard procedure by these people.
I know people who regularly protest outside of abortions clinics. They are nothing like the lies purported by 1:48.
Looks like the Coleman Klan is out in force on this post. I'm with 1:48. For those of you who truly engage in conversation and pray for and offer alternatives to the women coming to the clinic, bless you. The Colemans and their crew are a different animal. They do absolutely no good. And 2:38, I've seen them post that they hate Catholics too.
The last sentence of 2:06 is the only reason I support abortions.
3:22 here. That should say the next to last sentence. I even donate to planned parenthood simply because of that.
1:48 & 3:15, each of you are either ill informed, or pro murder of little babies, leftist liars.
If the latter, then Adolph Hitler would have been very, very proud of you.
The Boyd’s are anything but dangerous or sick, and they hate no one.
There are several young, healthy children alive and well, living in their incredibly loving homes, that wouldn’t be here today if not for the Boyd’s.
You can agree with them, or you can disagree with them, but any shit eater that tells you the Boyd’s are dangerous, need to be locked up, HATE anyone who doesn't believe exactly like they do, are sick, or anything similar to what 1:48 posted, is either seriously mentally deranged themselves, or likely a typical anti free speech leftist hater liar that will make anything up to further his or her evil causes.
3:22, please explain. Planned Parenthood just fired its president because she wanted to focus more on healthcare and less on politics, that should tell you a lot. So is Planned Parenthood a woman's health provider that is really trying to do the best for women, or a lobbying organization hell bent on keeping their gravy train rolling? Planned Parenthood is a profit-driven murder factory that will destroy anyone who get in their way.
I believe what 3:22 is trying to say is that he supports abortion only because the majority of the aborted babies are black.
something must counter balance the Federal feeding program known as EBT
It's not only 'the only abortion clinic in Jackson' - It's the only one in the state of Mississippi. Get it right!
I'm not an expert on this subject so I don't know who the Colemans are, but I hope you are not confusing the "Colemans" with Coleman Boyd, because that guy is solid as a rock. They have taken in or helped with more unwanted babies than all the posters on this blog combined. They walk the walk. Great family.
Wealthy white Christian Republican women and their young daughters and granddaughters fly out of state to have their abortions done so they will not be "seen".
@5:24
Except every private OBGYN that has ever done the procedure since it was developed.
The so called abortion clinics are for poor girls who dont have a regular OBGYN
Bo and Luke are just good ole boys...they never meant any harm.
So..suddenly, just like that, out of the woodwork come all manner of abortion and obgyn experts tossing around fake facts like confetti.
Just like that...Life is like a box of chocolates.
I would have a lot more respect for the "Pro Lifers" position if they didn't stop caring about life as sooon as the first breath is taken outside the womb.
3:06 posts a good point most folks don’t realize all these babies getting aborted on state street are mostly black. Hell I bet you could resurrect the grand white dressing white liking pointy hat wearing secret dragon wizard from yesteryear and even he would think killing the little black babies is appalling and unacceptable. Y’all calling Mississippi has circled back around. Y’all liberals getting angry over being able to kill a unborn but formed baby are whacked out. Same folks will go nuts about euthanizations of stray cats and dogs though. Interesting times. Black folks need to rethink the democrat party. Look it up b/t abortion and immigrants y’all are going to be a immaterial voting bloc by 2030. Might not seem like it here in Jackson where there is a ton of you everywhere but look up statistics in other parts of country they are gonna make y’all extinct. God bless y’all and I know God loves those babies I hope he lets em all in heaven. Late night anonymous internet rant over.
The hypocrisy is stunning.
You love those babies until they get here.
Remember, some of them could end up believing they should be free to make health decisions and since their mothers didn't want them, they may end up as that " thug" you love to hate.
I've heard every democrat spew the talking point made by 9:32 and 8:27, but I have yet to get a good explanation of what it actually means. Please be specific, I'm obviously not as smart or as enlightened as you are.
@10:28 - maybe they are referring to the endless government handouts that some folks think they are entitled to because they lack the the self control not to screw anything that walks. Maybe?
I know this has become old-hat, but I reluctantly agree with those who advocate the rare/safe view. A baby becomes a baby and citizen when born (except if the mother is an illegal immigrant). I would rather have our beleaguered DofI and Constitution continue to work as intended and decide this question in a lawful manner. This is exactly what is happening...through democratic processes Roe may very well fall, but by the will of the people, not the bullying bu bullhorn.
All of you people that hate on the black EBT/welfare crowd do realize that the overwhelming majority of welfare recipients in this country are white? I can't stand any of these able-bodied losers that make a life style out of living on handouts. However, let's call all of them out. Let's stop with the endless gifts to immigrants, including the Vietnamese on the gulf coast areas that were/are bankrolled by welfare, or any of the current wave of immigrants that are using up our tax dollars. Stop the endless handouts to the farmers of this country. Stop the endless corporate welfare, too. I am tired of a specific crowd being singled out. Call out all groups benefitting from welfare/handouts.
11:07 the constitution clearly says if you are born in the US, you are a citizen. No ifs, ands or buts.
@10:28, it's really not that hard to understand. You would think "Pro-Life" would make you automatically anti death penalty, pro affordable healthcare, pro better access to childcare, pro cheap/free birth control, and pro education. The hard right wingers that typically are these protests are the opposite of "Pro-life." They are merely trying to push their religious beliefs on the entire country because they are assholes who hate America and the constitution. Hopefully that helps you understand better, but let me know if you need a further explanation.
9:32, you are hopelessly ignorant. Many thousands of babies in this state alone have been rescued from mutilation and are thriving in their adopted homes. My sister is one of those babies, so don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. How many doomed babies have you adopted? That's what I thought.
Enough already! Let's discuss something non-controversial, like politics or Ole Miss, or even evolution.
1:38, I invite you to read “Theology of the Body for Beginners” by Scott Hahn. That should explain to you why many pro-life people, particularly those of Roman Catholic faith, are opposed to both abortion and artificial contraception. You might also do a little reading on the position of the Roman Catholic Church on the death penalty (steadfastly opposed). As for your other straw-man arguments about healthcare, etc., there is a role for the church (as in universal, which is actually the meaning of “catholic”), and a role for the government. The government should not usurp the role of the church, nor should the church abdicate its role to the government. Both make fertile ground for terrible public policy.
Wrong 12:39
That was passed with an amendment that was passed unconstitutionally.
Damn it. I wish would have named my two boys Bo and Luke.
Lenny still turned out well. Squiggy, not so well.
