JPD issued the following statement.
Jackson Police are investigating a vehicle accident after a car crashes into a building.
It occurred shortly before 2:30pm,
in the 900 block of Ellis Ave. Officers responded to Westland Plaza
where they found that a vehicle had collided with the building near Kool
Smiles.
Officers later learned that a second vehicle driven by a female,
was following the other and had forced that vehicle into the building.
The suspect vehicle, which was a dark colored sedan, later struck a
female pedestrian before fleeing the scene. The male driver of the
crashed vehicle also fled on foot.
The pedestrian was transported and her injuries are said to be non life-threatening.
Officers are still attempting to gathering information about the driver and suspect.

Ok soooooo.... the 2nd driver, who caused the wreck, got away with no one getting a better description even though she injured a pedestrian... the driver who ran into the building fled on foot but is as yet, 24 hours later, not identified. Was there no tag or did he steal the car? So many questions!
