Hinds County Assistant District Attorney Dawn Mapp asked Circuit Judge Tomie Green to revoke the probation of convicted carjacker Jushun "Red" Paige. A grand jury indicted Paige as well as Lidarious Dixon and Nicholas Coats for capital murder in the August 2017 killing of 24 year-old Chelsie Kirschten. Paige faces serving a suspended prison sentence of seven years.
Jushun Paige is on probation for a carjacking conviction and has a suspended prison sentence of seven years. Jushun Paige was part of the gang that went on a rampage of robbery and carjacking throughout the Jackson area until they were caught in January 2015. Three members of the gang were convicted of murdering Carolyn Temple. Paige was not implicated in her murder but was arrested for being involved in one of the carjackings.
He pleaded guilty to simple carjacking in March 2016. Circuit Judge Melvin Priester, Sr. sentenced him to serve 10 years in prison but suspended 7 years of the sentence and gave him credit for time served in the Raymond Detention Center. He entered MDOC custody on March 28, 2016 and was released on July 17, 2017 under the Earned Supervised Release program, one month before the Chelsie's murder. He is serving a probation term of three years. Although Judge Priester sentenced him, the case is assigned to Judge Tomie Green.
The A.D.A.'s petition asks the court to impose the seven year suspended sentence on Paige since he was indicted for capital murder, attempted armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Attorney Sanford Knott represents Paige.
Kingfish note: Nice job, Ms. Mapp. Go get 'em.

Leftists love evil. They want more gun laws but won’t sufficiently punish the criminals that use guns to commit crimes like carjacking & armed robbery. After reading shit like this one has to wonder if it’s a dream since these stories do not seem possible.
In a recap of this case:
Nicholas Coats was wrongfully released from jail because Judge Green did not follow her own order that states any 90 day order before release MUST come before her with the prosecutor present for review
jushun Paige was arrested and convicted on a reduced charge of ARMED carjacking (because he in fact had a gun) bo simple carjacking by the request of the VICTIM to show leniency ( again Judge Green), and then ONE MONTH TO THE DAY OF HIS RELEASE HE IS INVOLVED IN CHELSIES MURDER
The paperwork and MDOC request for revocation has been sitting onJudge Greens desk for well over a month now, so WITH NO RESPONSE, so now the DA's office is filing s formal motion to compel Judge Green to put this boy back in jail. What is she waiting on?
Ya see the pattern here people?????
I'll say it again.....Tommie Green is a disgrace to the bench and the robe she wears and should be removed.
