WILL LONGWITZ ENDORSED BY MADISON COUNTY SCHOOLS SUPERINTENDENT MIKE KENT
August 11, 2011—Republican Candidate for State Senate District 25 Will Longwitz announced a major endorsement today from Madison County Schools Superintendent Mike Kent.
“Madison County schools need to be represented by someone who lives in Madison County," said Kent of the endorsement. "Will Longwitz is unquestionably my choice for State Senate. Every parent, grandparent or future parent who cares about protecting the strong school system we have here needs to vote for Will Longwitz.”
"I am a product of public schools, and my mother and grandmother have taught in public schools," said Longwitz. "I grew up in a family that understands the need for a good quality education. That's one of the reasons I am especially honored to receive Mike's endorsement. Like my mother and grandmother, Mike is dedicated to students. He has led the Madison County School District well. It is due, in part, to his no nonsense approach to public education that Madison County is a place where parents want to move their young families.
I will work hard as Senator from District 25 for quality public education."
