WILL LONGWITZ ENDORSED BY RIDGELAND HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL LEE BOOZER
August 11, 2011—Republican Candidate for State Senate District 25 Will Longwitz announced an endorsement today from Ridgeland High School Principal Lee Boozer.
“Will Longwitz knows Ridgeland." said Boozer. "I know he will work hard to make sure the students and teachers at Ridgeland High School get the support we need."
"I am honored to have Lee's support in this race," said Longwitz. "He has done an incredible job at Ridgeland High School. Under his leadership the school has quickly become one of the flagships of Madison County's commitment to excellent public education. He knows education and he knows my dedication to public education runs deep. Both my mother and grandmother spent their entire careers teaching in public schools and I am a product of Mississippi public schools. Education will be my top priority as the next Senator from District 25."
Will Longwitz is an active member of the Madison County Republican Party and the Madison County TEA Party. Working for Governor Haley Barbour’s Commission on Recovery, Rebuilding and Renewal, he helped Mississippi recover from its worst natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina. As a federal civil prosecutor, he has worked to fight fraud and protect people’s money. He has worked as an attorney for the State of Mississippi, helping to administer funds for rebuilding housing destroyed by the Hurricane Katrina. As a small business owner, Will understands what it means to make a small business run every day.
