The Madison PD issued the following statement:
On August 01, 2015, the Madison Police Department began investigating an alleged Aggravated Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault case that occurred in the City of Madison. Charges were signed against Laney Wyatt Weathersby, age 30, of Pearl, Ms. On August 06, 2015, members of the Madison Police Department along with the Clinton Police Department tracked Weathersby to a motel on Johnston Place inside the City of Clinton. Once officers arrived on the scene, Weathersby attempted to avoid arrest by fleeing out of a broken window after which a struggle ensued with arresting officers. He was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. A substantial amount of suspected methamphetamine was located inside the motel room occupied by Weathersby and Stacy Leigh Brooks also of Pearl. The Clinton Police Department is handling the investigation and charges of Possession of Methamphetamine. Weathersby was transported to the Madison county detention facility where he was charged with Rape and Aggravated Domestic Violence. Bond had initially been set at $50,000 for Rape and $25,000 for Aggravated Domestic Violence; however, additional charges could be forthcoming from Rankin County for earlier charges involving Felony Fleeing.
Kingfish note: The pictures of his alleged victim have been widely shared all over Facebook (6,507) as the victim allowed them to be posted. The pictures and this message were originally posted on August 1 by Judy Rutland:

Worthles piece of £€£* needs to be beat then skinned alive.
Weathersby? Rankin County? Any relation?
Interesting bond amounts considering the norm there.
Is plucking your eyebrows a symptom of meth addiction? Or do eyebrows fall out, in the same way that teeth fall out, when a person is on meth?
Are METH BROWS a symptom of meth addiction, as is METH MOUTH? Or is there an underlying cause: one common inner flaw, which can render a person vulnerable to excessive cosmetology, in the same way that it leaves a person vulnerable to experimentation with substances which are KNOWN to be addictive and life-destroying?
Did this just happen at the Sam's opening in Madison?
What the hell has this got to do with Madison? Kingfish continues to have a perpetual hard-on for 'The City'.
