WLBT's Cheryl Lasseter brought her A game today as she questioned the family of an accused child molester at the Madison County Justice Court.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued the following statement yesterday:
“We have developed information that indicates there may be other incidents that could lead to additional charges being filed against his suspect,” MBI Director Lt. Col. Larry Waggoner said. “Anyone with information that may be helpful in this case should contact MBI at 601-987-1530.”
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and the Madison County District Attorney’s Office.
Alderman is scheduled to make his initial court appearance at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2nd.

Why is it all right to shove a microphone into a family member's face? Aren't they suffering enough? Good for ratings but despicable journalism. I don't know these people but leave them alone and concentrate on the offender.
typical white trash police officer. Yet another reason to never trust a cop.
she forgot to bring her turtleneck though
Just because she looks exactly like Janice Soprano doesn't make her a criminal. Back off, Cheryl.
Are you f*cking kidding me?! Lasseter has no A game. That's tacky. What, KF, is "newsworthy" about this video? Nada. So why would WLBT post it? Page views and clicks built on an attempt to shame the family of a bad actor. Honestly, you're opinion of an A game is this TMZ garbage? F*cking embarrassing.
I have arched this 8 times for obvious reason. She brought them alright.
Actually the woman babysits children, and some of them have been possible victims. The questions needed to be asked. Good job Cheryl.

Cheryl is still HOT.
Is Cheryl Lassiter from Cleavage, Ohio?
Cheryl is one of the best. And I voted for her as "Hottest." She bulldogged the Hinds Board of Supervisors before that mess finally started getting cleaned up.
2:52 has demons of some kind. Let us form a prayer circle for 2:52.
Kingfish has sucked up to Lassiter for at least the past four years. Whether she's hot or not is irrelevant. She aged thirty years since getting to WLBT and Kingfish, like most young boys, is mesmerized by the weighty cleavage. Shoving a mic into the face of a family member may be typical journalism but it's no A-Game.
Brought them, or bought them 3:00?
She hit that trailer hitch so hard it made me hurt.
Betting born, 5:37.
I still remember years ago when Marsha Thompson was a sweet young thang (many, many moons ago) she was badgering some guy and he sprayed her down with a water hose! really... Second place was when Governor Fordice threatened to whip Buuuuuuuuurrrrrtttttt Case's "ass"!
did someone mention trailer-hitch?
Only the challenged question the naturally blessed.
We'll always adore and remember.
@6:53
Wish someone had that video
6:53, I don't know how to link it, but the video is available on YouTube:

I think he meant the video of Marsha getting sprayed with a hose
Concern about children being cared for in a home where there's a man accused of molestation is certainly legitimate, but the way the question was asked and answered did nothing except to show people behaving badly.
It would be more admirable journalism to ask Social Services or law enforcement what measures they had taken and would take to be sure the parents of children who came into contact with this man were safe and got help if needed.
As a former (Memphis) newspaper reporter assigned to the police beat, I just don't get it. Pushy TV reporters need that "shove the microphone in your face" film, I guess, but it rarely adds anything to the story. In fact, it can distort the real story. Good cop sources along with docket clerks and court officers are the base. Clear telling of the story should be the goal. Confrontational interviews don't do that. Nice boobs, however and a dress that shows them.
Can you share with us some examples @7:52 of your own "admirable journalism".
Thanks for your Appeal to Authority Retired Editor/Reporter. Agreed, you don't get it.
She needs to grace us in the next "Playboy's Women in the Media" edition. WOW.
"A game?" No, I watched that clip and she clearly brought her Double-D game.
She's not blonde. She's actually a brunette.
Ok Ok. I just watched. Kingfish, do you get off on that rude shit or what? This is a family in deep embarrassment and horror, and this rude Yankee "BEOTCH" reporter gets up in their face in a huge "gotcha" moment. THIS IS NOT "SOUTHERN" AT ALL.
Good Lord Grow Up. And anybody "enjoying" this is as sick as he is, IMH F'G O.
I will bet my last dollar if your buddy "Cheryl" was a troll, you wouldn't even post it, much less brag on it.
Good Lord @5:30 Grow Up.
9:41
5:30 is one of the few here who sees this for what this is.
How would you like this if it were your daughter, sister, or mother? Wrong.
Good Lord @11:39 Grow Up.
11:39; if it were MY daugher, sister or mother, she would not wear a low cut sun dress on a reporting adventure. Did she think she was going to a pool party at Annandale?
Smart A$$ at 1:15 & 2:13 (same person)
You're real cute. You knew I was referring to the two ladies that were 'interviewed'... not your sister who was doing the ambush.
A child was albeit(allegdly) molested here. All of these comments are so immature and sad.
