The city of Jackson issued the following statement.
The
City of Jackson Department of Public Works has received the new pump
for the well at TV Road, however
the City is still awaiting delivery of some additional parts required
for repairs. This delivery is expected sometime this week and repairs
are anticipated to resume on the TV Road well beginning Monday, June 28.
Details of the repair schedule will be provided
later in the week.
In the meantime, the TV Road Well is operating with a temporary pump and the Siwell Road Well has been fully repaired and is back online. Any residents experiencing disruptions in their water service should notify 311.
A precautionary boil water notice still remains in effect for the impacted areas. The notice will stay in place until two days of water samples are tested and approved by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
The
Jackson Maddox Well System currently operates on six wells and serves
approximately 16K well water connections primarily in South
Jackson and the City of Byram. It is estimated that approximately 2,000
connections have been impacted by recent disruptions at the Siwell Road and TV Road wells.

Still no hue and cry from LaddCo and/or the Barksdalers. Unless there is a loose connection of dots available to lay the fault(s) upon erstwhile Shermanesque (former) white residents and/or their evil racist conspirator partners in state government those hyper-partisan mouthpieces don't really give a shit about the plight of black Jacksonians dealing with, now, months long inadequate water service.
The parts will arrive "sometime this week" but they'll decidedly wait to re-engage on Monday morning? If the water was out on Eastmont there would be a police escort for the damn parts and a crew on hot standby status ready to install immediately upon arrival.
Black Jackson, your enemy is the total impostor you've elevated as King Mayor, NOT all the people, white and black, who have removed themselves from the sheer insanity and total lunacy of Jackson.
I bet wrong parts will be shipped.
Apparently, they are having negotiation issues with the kickbacks.
I hope all readers saw the $20,000.00 campaign contribution to Lamumba from the law firm that handled the Seiman lawsuit.

$20k for $33m? And to think that Chowke was offended because he said Hosemann treated him like a cheap trick.
