Imagine working next to this crap at the former Twin Peaks site.
The alarm started blaring around 7 AM. JPD arrived at 8 but left the premises. The alarm still blared. Yours truly recorded the video at 4:12 PM today.

This shit is not even funny anymore.
What should the police have done? Break into the closed building? Cut the power to the building? Both options gets the city sued. What’s the protocol for when this happens?
@6:40 PM,
The first thing JPD should have done is arrived sooner than an hour after the alarm started sounding.
Obviously the beta version of the new "Vandy Whistler App".
its still going off as of 10pm
Someone is in there. The call is coming from inside the house!
Much easier on the ear than the Vandy whistler. I've had to watch every game with the TV on mute.

Pass an ordinance with a fine for owners who don't respond to their alarm in a timely fashion. The fine would be double the lawsuit amount.
Still better than the bad food and service this place dished out when it was open. Skimpy outfits mean squat when they walk around with attitude ......lips all poked out like someone stole her ..............NO TIP FOR YOU !!!!!
JPD gets there in a timely manner and calls the real estate agent who has it listed to get it cut off.
I don't claim to have all the answers but at a minimum, Jackson officials should be asking...Why don't the surrounding cities have this type of problem and how can I copy what they are doing to get similar results.
I miss common sense.
mind control. Condition the locals to ignore alarms so they JPD gets fewer calls from alarms that have been set off. And y'all think the JPD and Baby Chucwe are incompetent.
Still going. Maybe someone thinks Noriega is hiding out in Cracker Barrel and they are waiting for him to surrender.
If it’s still blaring maybe the city is trying to turn it into a tourist attraction?
There is a customer inside still waiting on his order
I work across the street from that building and it is still blaring!
that alarm sounds more like the commonly used fire alarm tone that the burglar alarm tone.
Speaking of restaurants in Jackson. My wife told me Jason's Deli is now permanently closed. Google maps lists it that way.
7:51 Every ad I see on a web page searching on Jason's Deli says they will be open tomorrow.
Is it still beeping???
What's the real message when you see seven handicapped parking spaces in front of a titty-bar? I mean, really...what's the message?
9:34 PM
Check Jason's Deli website. There's only one listing and it's in Olive Branch.
https://www.jasonsdeli.com/restaurants
And the google maps:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Jason's+Deli/@32.3982244,-90.1400053,17z/data=!3m2!4b1!5s0x8629d288fe29cbbb:0xad0170a71a4d4670!4m5!3m4!1s0x8629d289b07c803f:0xc54774a448a73c95!8m2!3d32.3982244!4d-90.1378166
It stopped within the past hour.
The buildings in that area must be vacant also.
They moved out when the guy was humping the
Sidewalk across the street.
Or was it the shootings down the street.
Looks like a prison fence under the overpass.
Give the homeless under the overpass somewhere
To live in the vacant buildings.
The Jason's Deli in Jackson, MS seems to be open for lunch as I type this: https://www.bing.com/search?pc=COSP&ptag=D060221-N9997A915F698E57&form=CONBDF&conlogo=CT3335818&q=Jason%27s%20deli%2C%20Jackson%2C%20MS
As I recall it is on the Jackson side of County Line Road.
I know nothing about Olive Branch (this site is Jackson Jambalaya, IIRC).
1:35 PM
I don't really care what Bing says. When the Jason's Deli corporate site only lists a location for Mississippi as being in Olive Branch (a suburb of Memphis), then clearly the location in Jackson has been shut down. I only mentioned Google Maps because it is the most likely to be updated first (and indeed was the first map I checked before checking the corporate site). Even the Yelp link in your search says that users are reporting the location has closed. But please continue to act like you have no sense.

It was finally turned off yesterday afternoon.
