The Arkansas State Police is in hot water after a video showing a Trooper using a "pit" maneuver to overturn an SUV with a pregnant driver a year ago. The trooper tried to pull the woman over for speeding. She slowed down, flashed her right turn signal, then turned on her hazard lights. The highway had temporary concrete barriers on the shoulder, which would have placed her SUV and the trooper out into the highway. No matter. Billy Badass with a badge couldn't help himself. Thanks to his special privileges, tax payers are the only ones who will be held accountable. I’d call him a lot worse than an idiot. He had no regard for human life. He is an animal.
The casualness that he walks up to the overturned car shows this guy isn’t even human and yet many Republicans will still defend him because he has a badge.
Arkansas popo gonna buy someone a new car and a house.
Good!
4:26 why even bring politics into this. Believe it or not, the majority of people on both sides of the isle just want people to be normal, decent humans, no matter their political affiliation. People like you are the reason this country is in the situation it is in and divided.

I guarantee you if that was my wife and unborn child me and Private Pile would be having a f-ing chat, with his boss, highway patrolman or not. F that douchebag. You don't do a PIT maneuver based on something miniscule like that. Now if she kept going, or looked like she was an immediate threat or in imminent danger, possibly.
Roid rage probably. Pretty common with HPs.
4:26. Im a Republican and a LEO. All i can say is what the hell was he thinking. No defense from me.
Officer Soon-to-be-Terminated: "Can ya get out?... Come on out!..."
What about the danger to/from other traffic?
He still has his job a year later.
Definitely makes one rethink qualified immunity for LEO’s.
If that was my wife, I would be in jail for whipping that guy's ass.
I support law enforcement, and I back the blue. I side with honest folks over criminals. But this was a lady in an SUV and she wasn't fleeing. He didn't feel she was a threat, or he would have approached the vehicle differently.
He only made the situation more dangerous by causing a wreck, and clogging the interstate.
This cop isn't smart or mature enough to be carrying a gun.
@4:36 - because of the Republicans in the Arkansas state legislature that are coming out in support of the pos cop. If you are going to take the side of police, no matter what they do, then you are no different than the criminals.
5:34, I'm in total agreement. If some asshole had a done something like this to my wife, expecting or not, I would have put an ass whipping on him people would still be talking about. It would probably be safe to say this is not the first time he has shown his ignorance, maybe not to this degree. He feels like he is untouchable. I was taught you respected the uniform regardless of the man inside. I'm finding this is getting harder to do. This incidence upsets me, and she isn't any relationship to me.
The only decent thing that could happen to this cop is termination. And I don’t mean from his job.
The law enforcement profession attracts a lot of screw-loose idiots. Most people know it. But it's taboo to say it.
I increasingly find patrol cops unable to make good judgement calls on traffic stops, which are not complicated. Whether it's blocking the entire interstate, or 3 lanes on Lakeland, they seem to be going out of their way to screw things up, not make them better.
Too many "procedures" and "With your right hand, turn off the ignition....." crap that gets folks killed, including them.
Every damn detention is NOT a threat. She was in a soccer mom vehicle doing 13 mph over. Good Grief, Barney. She had her flashers on and was slowed down in a the zone and complying.
Using deadly force here should be a termination. Road trooper OFF the road, for good.
Easy fix for this- pay this settlement and attorney fees from the cops’ pension. Since police have no legal reason to obey the laws, maybe a financial punishment would fix their thin blue line gang culture.
Hopefully with a new administration in office, some of the police brutality will calm down. It’s quite a change from a president who openly encouraged police to rough up suspects. I’m sure that level of lawlessness plays into the mentality that many of the officers took to the streets.
Stupid @ss cop right there. They do nothing but give the Defund the police/you said hurtful things and I’m calling the cops crowd ammo.
@6:51 It's that type teaching/thinking that led to him even considering doing a move like this. Try as you might to justify it, law enforcement (local, regional, federal) has a long history of tramping rights (and lives) under their boots and sweeping it away under the guise of 'I felt threatened'.
It is an attractive job for roids and tight shirts...
What the hell would he have done if she was black? Got out the flamethrower? Geez. This is why people don’t trust LEO.
Attention, fellow “right wingers”
Police have spent the past year and a half protecting Antifa communists, protecting BLM savages who’ve burned innocent people’s businesses and homes, arrested multiple innocent people for bearing arms against BLM animals who were actively threatening them and standing down while said thugs rampaged through the streets, harassing small business owners for daring to open their businesses during the “muh Covid.” Remember the church service here where pigs threatened to arrest people for driving into a parking lot? Remember Hazlehurst PIGS arresting a woman for not wearing a mask?
How long you gonna drive around with that thin blue line sticker on your truck? How long are you going to fly that desecration of the US flag that has the blue stripe on it?
They aren’t your friends. They will attack YOU when their leftist owners tell them to. They will go door to door happily confiscating your guns when their leftist owners tell them to.
You support them while they spit in your face.
When it happens to you…
Did anyone test the officer's blood levels? It looks to me like he was under the influence of a dangerous combination of Viagra, Rogaine, Red Bull, and Aqua Velva.
I’m not pulling over for any flashing lights until I get to a well populated, well lit area. Sorry. Too many gangster types out there wanting to do me harm. Sorry, I’m only directing that at white gangsters.
Not only were his actions beyond stupid, the way he talked to that poor woman… that braindead condescending mansplaining… he probably really thinks he is the good guy here… zero self awareness… yes, police reform, take their pension money for any damage they have done by acting against the rules, that will be the only thing that makes them thinking
I wonder if the hiway patrolman that was killed in mississippi recently would still think it was so important to stop the person (in a dangerous spot). These billy badasses only want revenue and a large drug bust.
I guess I watched a different video than all of the headhunters. I saw a highway with a shoulder where the maroon vehicle could have stopped on, but then, using logic isn't fair in today's society.
Sounds to me like assault with a deadly weapon, against which one generally may employ deadly force.
8:19, as a woman i only stop in a well-lit area, maybe you don't understand this. I had my share of bad experiences, including LEOs
KF, you told us the officer still has a job. Did the woman file suit? Is Arkansas paying a settlement? Details please.
I never pull over on an interstate if i think i have a safer option. People get plowed on the shoulder all the time. F*** the cops they can get the F*** over it as my safety is more important than their ticket quota. If that were my wife i would not rest until that stupid bastard was fired. On the bright side, now we all know what a pit maneuver about to happen looks like so i also won't allow the cop to get into position either.
If 8:19 thinks he could have pulled over safely, he must drive a really skinny car.
@ 4:26. The fact you would assume all republicans would agree with him shows the level of brainwashing the main stream media has done to you. I am a republican and think he is wrong. Quit assuming republican means jack booted thug you might be surprised how reasonable we are compared to the idealogs on the left. I see write and wrong with no influence from mt political beliefs.
This idiot has been an Arkansas State Trooper for almost 30 years ... and hasn't been promoted past the
rank of corporal ?
That fact alone speaks volumes.
Ouch (fellow Repub)... "write" and wrong?
@ 4:24 I agree. was doing several things at once
I love all of the internet tough guys who feel the need to tell us what they would do if she were your wife. Real tough guys don’t have to say it. And real badasses would never talk about what they actually did because it would be admitting to a felony when you know you were so careful to leave zero evidence.

Unfortunately, you are right. I’m also a fellow right winger: an actual Constitutional conservative, not today’s version of “neo-conservative”. I believe there are decent cops out there, but the vast majority will follow orders and do as they are told if ordered to confiscate guns under the color of law. The only hope in such a situation, at least around here, are sheriffs with some testicular fortitude who will refuse to follow un-Constitutional mandates. Most people are followers and are too invested in their job, insurance, pension, etc to risk being fired.
The right thing for a cop with principles to do when ordered to stand by and watch BLM and associated trash destroy property is to either ignore orders and handle the problem or quit.
The lawsuit was filed 5/18,2020. It could https://katv.com/news/local/nlr-woman-sues-arkansas-state-police-after-pursuit-led-to-her-car-flipped-while-pregnant
Hopefully, she gets a nice jury award. She sure deserves it.
