I know one that works at a prominent dealership. You'd never expect it. But, you will point to the rare cases among the extreme poor without ever looking at what factors may have made that success possible and feel all better. You won't see that there was a key nurturer or role model in that child's life or important intervention that worked. Or, that they got into one of the great foster homes rather than one where they were seen as free labor and income.

Also, his family is having a candlelight vigil for this thug on May 21 on Cooper Road (I guess his mom's house) and its all over FB - his sister posted it. Maybe my glasses are rose-colored, but I am of the opinion that Jackson can and will get better. I don't believe that today can be compared fairly to historical climates because never before have we had drugs decimating the numbers of people that they are today nor have we had rapid communications like today. Rats could hide differently than they can today. The problems occurring in Jackson are not unique and cities are coping differently. We need to elect a different DA and we need to get some of our judiciary into a higher gear.

Just an observation. I see on his Facebook page that he worked at the Mercedes Dealership. I'm just wondering if the Doctor and his wife had a Mercedes and somehow this thug lowlife piece of garbage looked on the maintenance records and got their address. If that's the case, we are all open to this type of pinpointing. I believe these thugs were targeting the Doctor. I may be wrong. But it is something the businesses will have to keep a check on as to who can gain access to addresses.

After many calls and questions about the criminals employment, I an here to tell you HE DID NOT WORK FOR MERCEDES OF JACKSON. The employment records do not show a Edwin Robinson employed there. Unfortunately the home is very visible from Ridgewood Rd. and I believe it was a random attack. My prayers go out to the affected and to the city of Jackson.

Mercedes-Benz of Jackson can confirm that Edwin Robinson has never been employed by our firm. We understand that Mr. Robinson has Mercedes-Benz of Jackson listed as his employer on his Facebook page but this is not true, and no one at the dealership has any relation to him. We have advanced security protocols in place to keep customer information classified as well as to monitor our hiring process including performing extensive background checks on any person under consideration for employment. Our thoughts go out to those affected by the incident on Sunday morning.

I suspected as much. You see FB pages by certain gang members or yewts and they like to say they work at <>insert status symbol<>.
