Impeachment charges after the election? First, what the crap and who the crap gives a crap about impeachment charges by a bunch of college kids?

Secondly, is this kinda like Obamacare taking effect after the next election cycle?

PS: I was once President of the College Skywatch Program. We reported on UFOs and such. I was relieved of my presidency for falsely reporting on a sighting. It has crippled my career and life pursuits for the past 40 years. What anguish. If I had been impeached I might have shit my pants.

Amazing that they will go after this one college kid, but the GOP will look the other way no matter what the Cochran campaign does, including robocalls to black, democratic voters that tell them to vote for Cochran because McDaniel will cause Obama too much trouble. Google Cochran robocalls black voters and see it on YouTube as of an hour or so ago.

Clarion Ledger already has something up saying it must not be Cochran campaign since they used Obama's name. Makes sense unless you thnk about the fact that as much as it could hurt him with some, he cannot win this without large turnout from the demographic he is courting openly: black, democratic voters. A call saying McDaniel will be a problem for Obama could get some to the polls that could care less about a republican senator. We may never know, but the Clarion Ledger sure did act fast to defend Thad , when it is clearly not obvious who benefits the most from these calls.

Who said anything about accosting black voters? Who knows how they are voting? When McDaniel supporters complain about Democrats supporting Cochran, simply substitute the word "black" for "Democrat", and that explains all you need to know.

I saw some old meeting minutes just this past week where I admonished campus presidents not to endorse candidates. It has always been a problem. And it has always been a by-law violation as far as I know. It probably wasn't smart to pretty well announce they were going to remove him from office. But, they didn't do it before the run off. Nothing to lose.

Using the type of statistical analysis that is used in modern times to predict everything in personal lives of United States Citizens, one would have to disagree with you. Blacks vote Democrat at a rate much higher than just about any ratio used to affirm a statistical certainty that is used to directly affect your life at the criminal, civil, health. government, etc level.

2 older ladies were talking about being poll workers at 2 different polling places, different counties, different demographics. Both commented that every single black individual who walked in to vote in the primaries, voted Democrat.

And, exceptions are proof of the rule. Personally, I've been perplexed by the continued support of the Democratic Party by the black community. The individuals like Kenneth Stokes and Benny Thompson (who are black) are glaring examples of the Democratic Party using a stereotype to continue to get re-elected to no benefit of those electing them, unless you are a crony.

And please do not read that as racist, because the same type of cronyism has occurred and still occurs with white or hispanic candidates. My point is that they are using stereotypical tactics to get re-elected and the voters should be more active in getting someone good for the community, not someone saying they are just good for the black community.

This five minutes, I'm wondering whether or not a small fortune has been paid for the Facebook nasty videos and " shares" on behalf of McDaniel or if the gentleman who is world renown in the computer world's suspicions are correct and videos have been hacked targeting registered MS GOP names.

I will never vote for someone who is so unethical or who will ally or be beholden to those who lack any moral fiber whatsoever.

Not only are Thad supporters so turned off by McDaniel campaign tactics that they will not vote for him in the general, more than a few Tea Party members have decided to vote for Thad.

I know of three over 65 Tea Party people and their spouses ( all of whom remember Thad's role in making a viable GOP party a reality in MS and don't like smearing him this much...sorta like don't talk bad about relatives outside the family ), 6 college students who are friends of my children and 8 between 50 and 64 and their spouses.

I have never before heard a switch of candidate loyalty/party support in MS to this extent before so this backlash seems significant to me.

It really shocked me to see Thad signs go up in two of the yards that had sported " Don't Tread on Me" flags.

This is certainly an interesting campaign.

I hope it's over and McDaniel loses so as to take MS off the national radar, but if he wins, it'll will probably get worse before it gets better.

From the blogs, you can already imagine it will get racial when McDaniel is up against a Democrat.

let's not forget that Mississippi is the most corrupt state in the nation (last time I checked) and let's not forget how much debt we are in and let's not forget who is paying for the ad for cochran commercials- the realtor association? Please! now why would a Realtors Association be concerned with a senator's race? Could this be becuz of rural housing and many developers and realtors are ....well.... getting filthy rich? Look at all the out of state realtors and contractors contributing! I am just sick and tired of my hard earned tax dollars just transferring over to folks taking advantage of all these programs! I AM SICK of IT! Keep bringing up how much you did during katrina and then talk about the handful of contractors that made millions! Yep keep rubbing that in our faces!

When you are all out of argument, play the race card. It works for the Democrats. Cochran will probably win, but only because the Republicans stooped to unprecedented depths to beg and buy votes. That's fine, but many folks will remember come November. Then a lot of the "racists" will vote Democratic. Too bad Childers isn't black, that would really screw up y'all's campaign.

I heard an interesting comment the other day and I agree with the statement: Not all McDaniel supporters are racist, but all racist are McDaniel supporters.

LA might have us beat on corruption and having a different party in control hasn't changed that there either.
As long as y'all delude yourselves that it's the party and don't bother to find out how to make systematic changes to check corruption, then we are doomed.
As long as you fall for party propaganda and want to think the world can be made simple, corruption is what you get.
