Ronny Lott Signs Taxpayer Protection Pledge
Republican candidate promises to continue his record of support for smaller, more efficient government as Chancery Clerk
Supervisor Ronny Lott, Republican candidate for Madison County Chancery Clerk, announced today that he has signed the Americans for Tax Reform’s Taxpayer Protection Pledge. The pledge reads, “I, Ronny Lott, pledge to the taxpayers of Madison County that I will oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes.”
As Supervisor, Lott stood with county residents in opposing the 2012 tax hike in Madison County, fought for lower property taxes and against wasteful spending. As Chancery Clerk, Lott has promised to work with county residents and other elected officials in opposing any proposals for increased taxes.
“I’m a firm believer of living within your means. I’ve balanced budgets for 40 years as a business owner, and I think we taxpayers in Madison County pay enough already. Our county government should be constantly seeking ways to do more with less and make our operations more efficient. That’s why I’m proud to have signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge,” said Lott.
