A.G. Establishes Virtual Baby Shower

Attorney General Lynn Fitch issued the following statement.

Attorney General Lynn Fitch and Her PLAN Mississippi today launched the “Empower Women Promote Life Donation Drive” to empower pregnant women or those with young children with material support. The Drive is a virtual baby shower supporting nearly two dozen pregnancy centers all across Mississippi. Click HERE to view and fulfill the pregnancy centers’ wish lists.

"We may have to wait on the Court’s Dobbs decision for a few more months, but we don’t have to wait to demonstrate how ready we are to support women,” said General Fitch. "This Valentine’s Day, I am asking you to join me in showing a little extra love to these centers and the women they support by participating in a virtual baby shower for pregnancy centers all across Mississippi.”

How to Participate:
  • Click HERE to view all 21 pregnancy center wish lists.
  • Purchase one or as many items as you wish through the Amazon wish list.
  • The supplies will be shipped directly to the centers and used to help the women and children they support.

"We are so thankful for all our friends in the Her PLAN network, the pregnancy center movement, Attorney General Fitch and the people of Mississippi for boldly leading the charge to build a pro-life America that truly supports babies and mothers," said Anja Baker, Mississippi state coordinator for Her PLAN.

Mississippi is home to more than 30 life-affirming pregnancy resource centers that provide care and practical support to women and babies before and after birth. In 2019 alone, these centers provided $1.9 million in services and materials to more than 12,000 people.

"When the Supreme Court releases its hold on abortion policymaking, we will show the world that we are ready and willing to empower women and promote life," said General Fitch.

The bad news is, meaningless shit like this is all Lynn is capable of doing. (Unless you count her relentless policing of what her employees have hanging on their office walls as fulfilling the job duties of the state attorney general.) The good news is, when Roe is either partially or totally destroyed, she’ll receive a lot of credit, which will give her something to beat Tate over the head with in the primary.

Virtual General Fitch.

This here's a scene in the next Legally Blonde movie!

Next week maybe it will be Virtual Cupcake Bake?!

@9:30 - that’s not fair. She can also use our state resources to win her petty family fights.

Pro-birth, who cares after that.

She might be able to claim some credit IF Roe is overruled. When the decision was made to defend the 15 week limit, that decision did not include a full bore attack on Roe itself, and there is a serious question as to whether that issue is even before the court given how the case was being handled before Fitch became AG and the fact that SCT did not grant cert on the issue of Roe itself. You can be sure that John Roberts will do everything he can to prevent Roe from being overruled. If the court simply upholds the 15 week ban, the only credit Fitch can claim is that she didn’t decide to abandon defending that ban. Lynn Fitch is all about appearance. There is no substance to her. Her conduct at the SCT before the Dodds case was argued was appalling. She had what was in effect a pep rally (high school stuff y’all) right before the arguments were to begin and then flounced into the courtroom and sat at counsel table. One can only hope that she tried to look like she understood what was going on. That said, I don’t know how she can hurt Tater by her just being there. It isn’t as though Tater has been a supporter of abortion

I got a question.
How does this fit into the responsibilities for OUR AG ?

Maybe she could stay in her lane and possible cut back on stunts to get re-elected or her run for her next office

Anonymous said...

Why doesn't she make the “baby daddy” support their child?

Anonymous said...

Lynn Fitch. Her campaign signs say she is "For Mississippi". No office mentioned. She will run for something else. Stupid shit like this is why she shouldn't be elected.

This woman is useless as the state attorney general. Completely useless. Mississippi is overrun with public corruption and this is what consumes her time.

I could not possibly roll my eyes harder.
What a waste of time this broad is.

@10:00 AM
State resources?
Lmaooooo.
Google “State of Mississippi, resources” and read what it says

She’s going to be the first Female Governor of the State of Mississippi even if she has to switch parties and learn Spanish. Mark my words.

Anonymous said...

I googled "Mississippi Department of Marine Resources"

She is an empty suit (dress).

Supporting pregnant mothers with care, money and adoption, when appropriate, is an honorable mission, even when politicians get on board.

Go ahead and include gender reveals while you are at it. These things are now just another way for Mom and Dad to be to extort more crap from folks.

Y'all are some damn mean sons of bitches.
"Anonymous" doesn't hide your cruel and cowardice hearts from everyone.

2:22 : Nothing cruel about exposing "pork projects" that will benefit no one but those who vote for it. And this is pork.

Has she provided any updates on that lawsuit she filed against The People's Republic of China ?

Totally agree with you 2:22 PM. Some of these folks are so full of hate that they don’t even like themselves.
Lynn Fitch is a caring person and a fine lady.

4:29...You submitted that post right at quitting time as you were leaving the building, right? We all know when you gals turn out the lights over at the A.G.s inner sanctum. lol.

Anonymous said...

That’s funny, 4:29. Do you actually know her?

Anonymous said...

10:57, AMEN to the concept, but I believe the legislature needs to pass a law to mandate that first.

Anonymous said...

Hope no one has the AG and the Confederate Miss Seantor confused.

Two different people!

4:22 here, I didn’t just leave any building or turn out lights. As a matter of fact, I retired (not from state government) in 2007.6:23.pm
Yes 7:12 I do know her but I seriously doubt that you do.
I stand with my original comments both about her and about both of you.

Lynn really isn’t worth talking about! I can’t wait to vote her out!!

Anonymous said...

@8:41am - Lynn will continue to be elected by the 60% of people in this state that will only vote for someone with an (R) beside their name on the ballot. Doesn’t matter who it is. So I’m not sure how you’re going to “vote her out.”

Every time I hear her on the radio (seems more and more these days), I think..."Holy Crap! Is that actually the attorney general of this state?"

She sounds like a teenage girl trying out for cheerleader with the issues-grasp of a Miss America contestant from Nebraska or Kentucky.

And to think she will retire in two years on PERS income higher than Cecil The Frown Brown's and right behind that of Feel Brant.

God help us all...and help the angry old broad at 9:05 while you're at it.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
