The Pearl Police Department issued the following statement.
Pearl Police have arrested three suspects they believe to be a crew of catalytic converter thieves. Several vehicles were burglarized in the city and outstanding police work led to the arrests.
Pearl Officers located the suspects’ vehicle during their investigation on the afternoon of Feb. 16. Detectives were able to link the suspects to several thefts of catalytic converters and stolen items in the Pearl area. Search warrants were executed and several converters were recovered, along with several burglary type tools. Also recovered was a hand gun that had been reported stolen from a victim’s vehicle.
All three suspects are from Houston, TX and have an extensive criminal history that includes burglaries, sale and use of illegal drugs, theft, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. All three suspects are at the Rankin County Detention Center. This remains an active investigation as detectives are looking into a possible connection of these suspects to similar crimes reported in Rankin and Copiah counties.

Dang, don’t we have enough local criminals without importing them from out of state!
Good work, PPD. Hello, Parchman Farm.
Whoever tipped them off that the Jackson area is a sanctuary for worthless thugs failed to warn them to stay within the friendly confines of Hinds County.
Those aren't the [white] perps who hit the Volvo repair shop south of downtown. Them Texas boys obviously didn't get the memo to do their crime in Jackson.
who is the dumb ass that keeps talking about the number of comments on each article?
Wow so it wasn't white trailer park meth heads?
Welcome to the Hospitality State
These geniuses picked the wrong county. In Hinds they would have received an apology with their blessings.
@ 1:23, This was posted at 1:11. Your comment at 1:23. How many comments did you expect in a 12 minute time span? Perhaps your blog isn't doing so well?
@2:41pm - Probably tried Hinds, but no one left with a catalytic converter so they had to hit the burbs.
I hope these are the same thugs who have been working our area, SW Hinds County. We've scared them off three times now but they did cut halfway through the converter on our old farm truck. It can be repaired by welding or so I am told.
KF - Please block the dork who posts LMAO about number of posts every day. He/she apparently isn't playing with a full deck.
@1:46 PM
I believe it’s Kingfish, looking to influence his 5 readers to add comments.
1:46, it's a troll from the failed JFP. Evidently doesn't have much to do since he can get his "0 comments" response within minutes of a post going up. What I'm shocked at is that KF continues to put his comment up, but I guess that is one way to show the idiocy that comes from that rag.
Its either the same person or a deskmate at JFP that puts the comment up claiming 'cut and paste' journalism, every time KF puts up a Press Release.
The press release reads ".........and have an extensive criminal history that includes burglaries, sale and use of illegal drugs, theft, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon." How often do we see that in police reports? Granted, if all jurisdictions were like Hinds County, it'd be understandable, but why the actual F%#! can all jurisdictions not understand that keeping CRIMINALS in jail prevents their criminal activity on others? Man, I hate a f^&%$*! thief! We're in Rankin, and some cars at our business got "cut." Thankfully, they didn't get all of us, but it'd certainly be tempting to make an example out of one or more of them if you were to catch them in the act. Rankin might even allow it to happen to one or two of them, unlike Jackson, where you'd just be arrested and tried there by a jury of THEIR peers!
@6:02
I can’t imagine being such a toxic racist that I would murder them over some stolen property. And now, DA Bubba won’t let you get away with killing someone who hasn’t broken into your home!
Wow! So how many times are we going to allow people with extensive records roam the states to commit crimes???
While Kingfish and his happy little radar continue to screen out meaningful and honest commentary, he continues to approve shit like this:
"Lmao @ 0 comments"
There's only one person more mentally challenged than the guy who submits those posts...and it's the one who approves them for publication.
@5:12 PM
“Its either the same person.”
Well actually, it’s either the same person.
Or, it is the same person.
“Its” is a possessive substitute.
In your incoherent rant, you’ve referred to the person as an “it.” A person is a NOUN. He, She, We, You, blah blah blah.
Example: Jackson Jambalaya is a blog—its insignificant purpose is to provide a haven for shaft-riding trolls.
In this example, the purpose of JJ or the blog is to provide a haven for shaft-riding trolls.
YOU feel me?
@3:32 PM
A grown man begging another grown man. Bless your heart.
"Wow so it wasn't white trailer park meth heads? "
To paraphrase the most memorable line from "The Blues Brothers" movie:
"We got both kinds of dumbasses here - white ones AND black ones"
And 7:13 has some kind of reading comprehension problems, as 6:02 mentions keeping crooks in jail, which is not the same as "murdering" anyone, which is a bit more severe penalty.

Translation: I don’t fear nor hate you. Lol.
@2:19 AM
Brilliant reply.
And old enough to have teen boys who also have learned the art of theft.
Did they catch the shop they came and picked them up from or just the picker uppers?
“or a deskmate at JFP that puts the...”
You know what—I said the same thing.
Obvious that 8:16 is complementing their own previous post.
