Bedwetter Alert

Comedian William Burr opened SNL last night.  His monologue was not exactly Lenny Bruce but he didn't exactly give a damn what anyone thought either.  Needless to say, he set off the Twitmob (The key part being "twit").  Enjoy.

If the Twitmob thinks that's offensive, don't let them listen to this routine by Richard Pryor.  Should that link carry a warning? Who knows? Click on it and find out.

At least SNL didn't censor him the way you do your comments.

Maybe I should have a post where I show readers the comments that I don't approve. That way readers can see why crybabies such as yourself are whining about.

Usually the comments are racist. There are a nazi or two who try to throw Jews into every discussion. Then there are the klukkers who want to blame "them" and cuss me for not allowing the comments. Just rejected one for all caps.

You seem to think you have an unfettered right to comment. You don't. It's my site. I let you have, that's right, let you have, pretty free wheeling discussions on here compared to other websites. However, most of the time what you guys are whining about are racist comments that would not be allowed anywhere.

I stayed up and watched it. The sad thing is, there are no real comedians anymore and when one does try to be funny they have to throw politics into it. SNL is no good anymore and it’s proven by their staff and writers. It would be a great justice if they were cancelled. And by the way, it sounded like a recorded laugh track was being used like in the old sitcoms. At least that’s the way it sounded to me. If so, it’s really time for it to be shoved to the wayside. It’s lived it’s life. The last time it was funny was in the early 80’s.

Interesting comment Kingfish. So you are the one responsible for "your site" becoming Shillville for Biden while you don't approve comments that mention Biden's unique "fondness" for getting handsy with young girls.

Btw, do some research into the Twitter mob you bemoan. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out which uniquely identifiable holidays the mob leaders observe. They all seem to celebrate May day and Purim.

Kingfish, maybe you should only allow posts that have our actual name attached to the comment, then post the disapproved ones. It's interesting how folks will clean their language and act up when we cannot hide behind the anonymous name! LOL

I think that is a great idea! I can't see how that would ever go wrong

And how many Mississippians have a clue who Lenny Bruce was? BTW I have a copy of "How to Talk Dirty" around here somewhere.

Most of this is the same material from his standup act, but I will say his timing seemed off and it wasn’t as funny as he typically is. I guess not doing live shows for a while has probably hurt his performance - he seemed a little rusty.

I really wish we could agree to stop pretending like social media is news worthy, it’s just a bunch of sad people looking for attention and for whatever reason, people give credence to those loser’s rants.

JJ will never be confused with the Lincoln Project.

I think it scares people the most that Bill Burr was speaking out of line, in spite of having all of his "boxes checked": black wife, wears a mask, not a Christian, sports a yankee Mass. accent.

The audience was figuratively dragged from their safe bubble and dragged through the mud of reality!

The problem with allowing racist statements is that people can easily pose as a racist and do a false flag post. Liberals do it all the time posing as a racist KKK member online.

Somehow, the century long fight to eradicate racism seems far worse than the racism itself. The streets are less safe. The the standards for everything from work productivity to personal appearance have declined. And the nation is more divided than ever before.

Never in my lifetime would I have ever thought our nation would be this divided. I stand back and look at the current young generation and see only a few that give a damn. I know, I know, I was born in the 60’s and people said the same about us, and you know what? It’s my generation that has allowed all of this to happen by being soft on our kids and grandkids.

I watched this clip.

Burr was funny.

But I do see why the liberals had a meltdown.
( It doesn't take much for that crowd to automatically go into derangement mode).

" Never in my lifetime would I have ever thought our nation would be this divided. "

Some experts say it's worse than 1775 or 1860.

Your mad cause your kids don't vote the way you do, if they vote at all. Your not alone, they don't see the light at the end of the tunnel like you did. They aren't going to just let wrongs go because that's the way it's always been. You took them to Chruch and raised them in a Christan home, thank God it worked.

Not sure who left the biggest pool of urine in the bed - the people who got offended by a comedian’s jokes on Twitter or the people who complain about SNL needing to be cancelled on Facebook.

If you want to know why Leftist Democrats hate Amy Coney Barrett so much,

go to DailyMail.com ,

then to the headline:

“Amy Coney Barrett says she knew 'our faith would be caricatured and our family would be attacked’ as she praises her children and siblings at confirmation hearing”

and look at the pics of her family…and then you will know the meaning of “the wicked detest the upright."

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
