There was a standoff at a Cypress Lake home in Madison. A woman barricaded herself and her children in her home. The Madison Police Department issued the following statement.
On 6/12/2020, at approximately 10:25 AM, officers of the Madison Police Department arrived with members of a state agency to enforce a court order against a resident at a home near the entrance/exit to the Cypress Lake Subdivision in Madison. Upon arrival officers and investigators learned that the female to be served the order was in the residence and refused to open the door or exit the residence.
Out of an abundance of caution, a perimeter was established around the residence and communication began with the female occupant via telephone. Unfortunately, due to the proximity of this residence to the only entrance/exit to the subdivision, the entrance and exit was temporarily closed. The Police Department coordinated with Cypress Lake Home Owners’ Association personnel to establish notification to residents via their social media platform.
At approximately 12:17 PM the female occupant opened the door to the residence at which time the incident ended peacefully without incident. The state officers executed their court order. The female occupant was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. No charges are pending against the individual at this time.
The incident is taking place at the home of Dr. Dannett Dillon.

Guess this stems from her issues causing her medical license to be revoked
according to WAPT, situation defused at 12:30pm.
"What is with all these standoffs??"
So she got fired from her job for being crazy and now she is verifying her crazy.
She out of the house now.
The plot thickens.
Somebody needs to text her that threatening her life and her children's life isn't going to get her medical license back.
She can still be a Doctor on OnlyFans. She is a lovely woman.
According to news, she was being served state ordered papers. Family having committed??
whats wrong with barricading yourself in your own house? when you live is a state like mississippi with it thousands of white trash, thugs, drug addicts, and con artists, its the perfect way to spend the day. thank god i got another home overseas and only have to spend 6 months a year in Mississippi.
She can still call her self a Doctor and sell Youngevity snakeoil and "homeopathy"
Wish her the best. It sounds like she’s going through a tough time; hopefully she has a good group of friends, family, or whatever to get her through it.
Damn. There goes the neighborhood
@332, there might be nothing wrong with barricading oneself in their own house, but in this case there were (a) minor children involved; (b) court ordered papers to be served; and (c) likely that the papers might involve the children's welfare.
Especially if 'c' is the case, then there is plenty wrong with barricading oneself in their own home.
And if there are official papers to be served, one cannot avoid service simply by barricading within their home.
3:32 pm why do you spend 6 months in MS a year? And “overseas” sounds like a war-torn, third world country, not an island destination.
3:32, Why subject yourself to what you obviously consider 6 months of agony? Find some other place to spend that 6 months when you aren't overseas.
We will be thankful when you don't stay here any at 3:32.
She’s I’ll - show some Compassion and thank God it’s not you or your family
3:32...if you don’t like this place then why the fuck do you stay here half the year. Go somewhere else and let someone worthy breathe the good oxygen you are wasting.... this is a good place. Look at Seattle. Young degenerates with no option in life because they selected a course in college that led them down a dead end street.
Mississippi has a lot to offer and we need to capitalize on it. We are a great place. Just too many negative people
332: stay overseas.
@2:30... she has an Onlyfans account? 🤣 I am in the medical field and when she first moved here from New York, she added me and a lot of mutual ‘medical friends’ in Facebook and used to send us weird messages all the time. It was a running joke what messages she had sent you lately in our circle of friends for a while. I finally had to block her.
@9:07. What do you consider a weird message?
What's with all the speculation? Who said she had threatened her children? Why the suggestion that she was being served with an order involving the children? Who says you have to answer the door in your own house? How is it a violation of law to say, "I'm not answering the door, go away?"
Unless it was an arrest warrant, who can say the cops had a right to harass her and make this an overblown issue? So, eventually, whatever the paperwork was, she was served with it. What's the big deal? Madison cops have started running around like little Gestapo agents and the oldest is probably 32.
Avoiding service of process is an activity that's as old as our legal system. It's not a violation of law. She was not arrested because there was nothing with which to charge her. They had no legal right to take her to a medical clinic against her will.
11:52, the post says MPD was there “with members of a state agency to enforce a court order.” That’s not service of process.
This is a few houses down from a the house the lady and child were tied up and held at gunpoint during the day a few years back.
Why jump on 3:32? We, too, have a small modest second home in another country. Many countries limit non-citizen visits to 6 months, after which you must return to the US for a length of time that varies by each country, and then you can return to the foreign country for another 6 months. We like staying at our small second home during the winter when it's cold here, and staying at our Mississippi home during the summer where there's consistent air conditioning and better protection from hurricanes. But people who have never left the US due to their fear of "foreigners" or traveling, or because they lack the financial means to travel abroad, would not know that, I suppose.
7:15 is no Sherlock Holmes.
Perhaps when 3:32 stated than Mississippi has an abundance of "white trash, thugs, drug addicts, and con artists" that the locals took offence. The locals rightly questioned "if you hold us so disdainfully, why come here?"
BTW, just how is not supporting the violence of BLM racist but calling Caucasians "white trash" not racist?
"Jerry Seinfeld said..."What is with all these standoffs??" June 12, 2020 at 2:19 PM"
I know you've been patiently waiting for over two days, Seinfeld, so I'll make your day. What in hell are you talking about?
As someone who knows people involved in this situation, I find it sick that you all feel the need to comment on a situation you know nothing about. So quick to make assumptions about the whole thing. Mind your own business and get a life please!
It may not be the case here but Madison police and all their tactical warfare gear can make a speeding ticket into a major thing. They have reached a point of being ridiculous and in fact a running joke among myself and my neighbors who live here. None have the balls to work for JPD where they'd make so much more money because they'd have to deal with black people and that scares them to death. But when you need someone to bring your kids home who are walking around the neighborhood at 10 pm or get a search warrant to see if a 16 year old boy has pot in his house, they're the brave souls who can do the job. I saw 5 cars with flashing lights and at least 8 policemen talking to a black woman and a couple of kids in the car with her pulled over at a Vets office on 51 the other day. They are such a joke
