The Donald visited the coast last weekend and spoke to an overflow crowd. Here is unedited version of his speech:
It being a presidential campaign, fire away.

Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

We're screwed.
The popularity of blowhards like Trump and Stokes amazes me. They say the most insane things, knowing that their low-information supporters will eat it up. The only thing these guys are good at doing is getting people to talk about them. Let's get serious and stop giving these clowns attention.
I will vote for the Donald if he is selected to run against a Democrap. He is definitely using the "Herd Theory" to laud his ambitions. How much he can actually attain, given his opposition in both parties, is questionable. He makes positive points though.
If anyone wondered whether MS still ranked last in education, here's proof. This was quite easily the simplest speech Trump has ever had to make. String together 6 words, then tack on a "Obama's a disaster," "my military will be so strong," "2nd amendment thwarts terrorism," then await thunderous applause.
How can Mississippi be so in the bag for Trump?
We are a welfare state. If the Federal Government did not exist, Mississippians would be forced to eat polk salad at every meal.
How can the Magnolia State filled with "Christians" be filled with so much angst and contempt?
Is there any wonder people leave this state in droves?
We sure are. We're big time screwed if Trump or Cruz don't win.
@10:09 Who is "We"?
10:30am - YOU ARE SICK!!
Wow, my first time watching a full Trump speech. A hour of ramblings from a narcissistic. "I'm the greatest this", "I'm the greatest that", etc... Everything he says is over the top - it reminded me of a pro-wrestling event. I cannot believe people go to these rallies and walk out still supporting him. We need voter IQ tests.
Is there any wonder people leave this state in droves?
Mississippi's population has increased every year since 1955.
Trump speaks the truth! We don't need another politician, we need Trump. He won't be weak like everyone else in Washington and he will make things happen. That is why he is dominating every poll. Can't wait to vote for him to make America great again!
I agree with 11:04 about narcissism, "I'm the greatest...", Over the top and voter IQ tests.
That's exactly how we ended up with Obama.
Our country is in very bad shape and does not like it is going to change. We have been electing life long politicians for too long.
So far all they have done for us is get us so far in debt that our children will never be able to pay back all we owe. Politicians have even stolen the retirement money from our older people.
It is about time we elected someone who does not owe their election to special parties. We can't do any worse than what we have now.
My Dad who is in his late 90's remembers the Bilbo for Governor campaign of the late 1920's. He was at a rally down in Petal when Bilbo said he was going to "pave all the streets with bricks". My Dad goes on to say there was a fellow at the rally that the community considered to not be the sharpest tool in the tool box that questioned Bilbo "what are you going to do when the bricks get worn?" of which Bilbo replied "we'll flip them over, and when that side gets worn we'll put them on edge!"
If the Federal Government did not exist, Mississippians would be forced to eat polk salad at every meal.
Poke salad.........gators got your grannie...........
Guess you haven't seen the Drudge headline today. Crowd of 8000+ in Massachusetts at Trump rally. Like it or not, the voters are not "low information" as much as "highly pissed off"!
11:07 AM
http://www.rethinkms.org/2013/11/11/this-one-map-illustrates-mississippis-biggest-challenge/
11:04 - Us people who go to these rallies know what we are getting. Yes, it was an hour of hour of ramblings from a bit of a narcissistic. Yes, alot of what he says is over the top but that's just how he is. I think alot of us Trump supporters have the intelligence to dig down through all that and see that Mr. Trump can do a hell of alot better job than our current president and has the balls to say it and do it although not very eloquently.
Like telling a joke and forgetting the punch line....Bilbo says "we'll put the bricks on edge and they'll never wear out!" when the not so sharp fellow replies "why don't you just put them on edge to start with?!"
Thanks @12:02 PM as the article does not support the statement that people are leaving Mississippi in "droves".
So, let's see, the oldest your Dad could have been during Bilbo's campaign for Governor was 10-11 years old. Wow, that is one hell of a memory for someone who was that young. And to understand at that age what it meant when someone was referred to "not be the sharpest tool in the tool box". WOW. Mensa?
The amazing thing about the Trump supporters - and is echoed in the few pro-Trump comments above - is that their support is because 'he can do a hell of a lot better job than Obama". Damn. I'm not sure that even Kennuf Stokes could do a better job than Obama! I'm sure our incompetent Mayor could. But that would not mean that I would vote for either one of them for anything, much less President.
I agree with what Cruz said in a recent debate. (Can't believe I said that I agree with Cruz, but even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then.) Cruz's statement was that 'everyone on this stage would do a better job than Obama. Recognizing that truth, I can't find reason to support this narcacisstic egomanic.
Mississippi might be 'gaining population' every year since 1955 - I doubt that statistic but am going to accept it at face value. But that is measuring the population during the baby boom following WWII. The relevant fact is that Mississippi has been losing population proportionally when measured against the other 49. Want to check that statistic, all you have to do is look at our congressional delegation. We have gone from 8, to 7, to 6, to 5 and now to 4 congressmen, which is determined based on population when measured with total US population.
"Is there any wonder people leave this state in droves?
Mississippi's population has increased every year since 1955."
True, but the increase is way less than the number of births every year. Either those already alive are dying at much greater rates than everywhere else, which I think would have been noticed by now, or a lot of people are leaving to pursue a better life in another state.
Why do you think we lost a Congressional seat, while other states gained them?
I was there. Not because I support Trump, but mainly because I wanted some entertainment. I've never seen anything like it. Huge crowds, I waited 2.5 hours in line, etc. Going to be interesting if he keeps it up.
12:33 is a member of the First Baptist Church. He is quite literal.
The point of the article is that people you want to stick around are not...they are leaving in droves.
And as other posters pointed out...we have lost 4 representative seats.
So you keep on sticking to the exact numbers and miss the boat....again.
I think this is actually a case in point of who actually remains here to be honest......not the folks you want.
Any of you numbskulls ever take Statistics?
We've lost Congressional Seats because our growth rate has slowed. NOT because we've lost population in "droves". We aren't losing another Congressional seat in 2020 and are unlikely to lose one in 2030 also.
But go ahead and keep pissing into the wind as I'm sure y'all also believe the myth that we're losing Congressional Seats because downtown Jackghanistan remains a barren creative class entertainment wasteland.
Besides, relax Amigos, we're in the clear. Joe Sanderson's "undocumented" chicken pluckers are breeding like 14th Amendment rabbits and Boss Hogg Haley is going to do everything in his $$$ power to keep them streaming over our stuck wide open southern border.
If you are a Republican who is actually supporting Trump, I wish you would identify yourself. I have been a Republican since i began understanding politics at the age of 12 and I don't know of any of my Republican friends who are supporting Trump.
We lost 4 seats over the last 80 years, 1 of those seats in the last 40 years and it will likely be at least 2040 at the earliest -- another 40 years since losing a seat -- before we lose another one.
Please, by all means, continue to display your ignorance here. This is more amusing than repeats of the Kenyan's gun control cryathon from earlier today.
It's clear by Mr. Trump's statements that he's not a conservative Christian Republican. He's pro-choice, pro gun control, and pro universal health care. Read his books and do a little research.
Well, of course Jeff, your RINO friends aren't supporting Trump, or Cruz for that matter. You didn't need to tell us that. That is already common knowledge. Oh, and by the way, nobody gives a shit when you and your RINO friends threaten that you'll vote for Hillary when your GOP POTUS nominee doomsday arrives. Go ahead, do it.
Mr. Rimes,
Your party has created such a political fiasco during the Obama presidency that people who were never engaged in politics prior to this President are thoroughly engaged in the issues now. Common Core, Obamacare, immigration, gun control, taxes, etc. etc.
Trump is allowing anyone to participate as that should be the case whereas the GOP is used to only pandering to the political class such as yourself. I guess people such as yourself didn't learn much of anything during the McDaniel campaign. McDaniel got people involved in politics that felt they didn't have a seat at the table. I presume that it is people such as yourself who do have a seat at the table and do not want to see the pecking order changed, but oh well. You now have a whole new army of voters to contend with that you may not know. I would suggest that you adjust.
I may vastly disagree with most tea party positions, but I applaud the notion of populism where everyone has a seat at the table and their voices can be heard.
"....well.....ah.....when measured against the other 49". I think that's called moving the goal posts. Not to mention it's not true. Quite a few states are losing population. At the rate the Mississippi entitlement crowd pro-creates, we should never lose population.
Just look how many folks are rushing to California and states in the northeast and Chicago and Detroit. Umm Hmmm. (cue the Sling Blade photo)...
If Trump becomes the nominee, we're doomed. He'd never have enough broad support to beat HC and would probably cause someone else to run as an independent, thus assuring a Democrat win. The only people I personally know who support Trump are poorly educated, HS or CC at best, generally uninformed and believe every word that comes out of the ultra-conservative fringe media.
Did anyone happen to read the excellent op-ed by the WashPost's Kathleen Parker the other day, wherein she, with wry amusement, posited that Mr. Trump's popularity is probably much, much vaster than the polls indicate? The reason, she surmises, is that many of us "cool" educated Republicans feel slightly ashamed to admit that, ummm, well, we kinda like hearing his rants, and would rather enjoy seeing exactly what he would do if elected! Okay, sometimes he seems to be a truly bizarre combination of Ignatius Reilly and Ross Barnett, and nobody wants to see that coiffure of his on a postage stamp, but...he's the perfect anti-Hillary, and for many, that is enough.
People calling others RINOs on here and supporting Trump clearly miss the irony in their comments.
The Republican party isn't going to give Trump the nomination. It's not happening. Not even at the cost of knowing Hillary will become the next president if they nominate Cruz.
I'm just asking for someone who isn't named "Anonymous" but who is a Republican supporting Trump to identify themselves. This is the first time in my life I've been called a RINO, I would love to know who the "conservative" is who is making that claim.
Burn Baby Burn!
Trump happens to be the only one running for president that will take on Hillary. All of the others know they will see the end of their political career if they say something that the Clintons don't like. Even the democrats running against her know better than to say anything.
We need someone with the balls to tell the truth. Trump will tell the truth about all of Hillary and Bill's lies and crooked deals.

He was probably about 7 or 8 years old. Many siblings as well. As a result, he's had nearly 90 years of practice telling that story. I've heard it at least a dozen times. And he still practices as a Consulting Professional Engineer.
There are a lot of people in Haleys army that make money off his crony deals passed by establishment politicians that are in his pocket. Bankers, lawyers, construction companies, equipment dealers etc. etc. Trump scares all of them. Keep posting on message boards and hoping that helps.
It is pitiful that he draws such large crowds. I will definitely be voting for HRC.
Rimes, you obviously have few friends.
3:11
Would expect you and your academic (grandiose) type to stick with HC.
Sounds like the Belhaven and Fondren crowd have called the election for Hillary. No need to show up at the polls (as if Mississippi votes mattered). More Latinos, fewer guns, more from the Middle East, more entitlements and last of all....let's skin the peckers of those private sector bastards who make too much money.
Trump is popular because he is saying what many want to hear. Both major parties, Republicans and Democrats, sold the taxpayers down the river years ago and continue to do so. I have always voted republican and am a high information voter, but like many others, I am sick and tired of the elitist professional political class who think they know better than the taxpayers. I don't like Chris McDaniel or his ilk either. I have not yet decided who I will support, but know I am sick and tired of mainstream politicians pissing down my back and telling me it is raining!
You don't have to like McDaniel @6:22 PM but don't think for one second that the mainstream GOP politicians in Mississippi didn't already thoroughly drench the back of your shirt in 2014.
I'm voting for Trump just to get 4 years of that hair
Not a single person willing to identify him/herself as a Republican for Trump?
Wow...that is telling.
I will vote for Trump! He's a successful man and has created jobs and I think he has a better idea of how to budget money. I am a Republican and although I don't agree with Trump on some things I do feel like he is saying what a lot of us think and it is time for a change. I am not embarrassed to put my name but I can see all you will do is downgrade my opinion but I am Caucasian, female and a business owner , educated, Republican.
Anonymous at 10:02 anonymously calls for anonymous posters to identify themselves. Fine, 10:02, but can we do it anonymously?
11L49 pm The authority/power of a CEO who owns the majority stock of a corporation and the authority/ power of a President are hardly the same. Trump will not be able to simply order things be done or get to fire those who don't do it at his liking.
Even if Trump knows exactly how to fix all financial problems overnight ( which he has not specifically indicated how this would be done), he has to deal with the Congress and the Judiciary, not to mention The Federal Reserve Board.
Even if Trump knows how to solve all the world's problems, he has to deal with other countries who will not be impressed with his celebrity or force of personality anymore than they are impressed with Putin.
I'm not surprised that both parties have less than a stellar group of people running for President. Who in their right mind would want to subject themselves or their families to the vitriol that infects our politics these days? So why should we be surprised that those running are either ethically bereft or unprepared to hold the office or regarded with suspicion ( some of it justified) for having held office?
That there has always been vitriol, some of which is beyond the pale, in politics is true. What is different is that it could not reach everyone instantly in the past, nor was the volume of lies so great that some couldn't be proven untrue in the course of a campaign.
And, this vitriol has so infected our culture that it is poisoning the very fabric of society.
We are doomed no matter who wins if we have turned against ourselves and if the political parties have forgotten that the Nation comes first and that they have a responsibility to ALL the people.
What's the problem with remaining anonymous when planning to vote for Donald Trump? That's why voting booths have CURTAINS, you numbskulls! One's votes are supposed to be one's own beeswax, not any of yours, you jeering sideline nosy-parkers! You wait and see: the closet Trump-eters will blare in record numbers come November, and afterwards many (if not most) who voted for him will feign shock, shake their heads, shrug their shoulders, roll their eyes like proper intellectuals, and secretly...smile. And quietly hum a merry chorus of
"Ding Dong the Witch is Dead." Back to cozy fireside chats with your hubbo, HRC. Now that he's too old for any serious philandering...
People are running out of reasons not to support Trump. They tried insulting him and that didn't work. They are reduced to insulting those who support him. From the looks of the polls that isn't doing any better. I have even heard some people say they will leave the U.S. if Trump is elected. Might be a good idea to start packing.
Trump may not heal all wounds but he is not a member of the life long political families, which is one of the reasons people are attracted to him.

Get over yourself.

Paragraph 1 - no problem
Paragraph 2 - no prob (who in the past has ever knew how & specified)
Paragraph 3 - no prob
Paragraph 4 - no prob
Paragraph 5 - no prob
Paragraph 6 - okay, you're right
Paragraph 7 - correct... that's reason to go with the outsider.
".....Trump would have to deal with the congress." What a novel damned idea...
Thanks for the summary 10:09! I knew there had to be a way to condense all that vitriolic wind into just a few words.
11:59 am please point out a vitriolic sentence...just one. I did not lie about Trump or call Trump names. I was neither nasty nor mean.
10:09 am I'd be happy to go with " an outsider" who seemed to have a grasp of how our system of government is supposed to function and what the existing laws are (you need to know " is" law to do well coming up with replacement laws. This doesn't require a law degree. It does require getting accurate information).
It's pretty hard to go with someone who should know that both Cruz and Obama are legal citizens because their mother's were American citizens the day they were born. You have dual citizenship status at birth if born in another country to an American mother and you might have dual if your father is the citizen of another country depending on their laws. With dual citizenship, you can later petition the appropriate court to revoke citizenship status one. There's zero evidence that Cruz or Obama did that and there'd be loads of evidence in forms and court documents. And, if Cruz retained his Canadian citizenship, I would not hold it against him for avoiding the time and expense of becoming solely an American citizen.
It bothers me that with as many lawyers as Trump has available to him, that he either wouldn't bother to know the law or else did bother and chooses to deliberately lie and mislead the voters. Which is it?
2:07PM, I have a question for you. Do you actually think there is a single politician who has not lied to the voters?
Do you really believe Hillary was attacked by anyone while setting on a plane?
Did you actually believe Bill when he said he didn't have sex with Monica?
Do you believe anything Obama reads off his teleprompter?
Not many of you know it, but Hillary Clinton was born atop Mt. Everest. Or something like that.
She wasn't struck from the head of Zeus on Mt. Olympus?
(Some snark please add to this with a Zeus/Scruggs reference.)
okay 2:07
Paragraph 1 - no prob
para 2- laughable - so all recent office holders have? How's that worked out?
para 3 - why is this relevant... again?
para 4 - no prob
nit-picking
I'm a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and I'm voting for Trump. What the Republican elites did to Chris McDaniel was despicable. HRC and J Bush are two sides to the same coin.
2:16 pm Of course I know that all politicians lie.
I also know that not all lies are the same.
It's one thing to lie to try to get out of a mistake or make yourself look better than you are.
It's quite another to deliberately tell an ugly lie about someone else.
It's even more dangerous to me to lie to the people about our laws or how government works.
Trump has to know that the birther lie about Obama and Cruz is just that , a bad lie not just about Obama and Cruz to smear them, but about our system of government.
You reckon we'll have any embassies or military bases with families overseas if a wife of a diplomat or soldier can't have a child while stationed overseas and be certain of that child's citizenship? You think we'll have that many young men stay in the military if they have limited windows to impregnate their wives while stationed stateside?
" I'm sorry ma'am. I know we didn't have enough base housing for you, but you didn't make to the base hospital, so your kid is a German citizen. "
Our Founding Fathers got this , by the way! Tying citizenship to the mother's womb is what " natural born" means.
As for me, I don't want a President that's 1) too stupid not to know that 2) thinks I'm too stupid not to know that or 3) would tell that big of a bald face lie about his opponent to win an election. Our Founding Fathers dueled over lesser insults!
OK 5:33 pm
Paragraph 2 It's relevant because Trump claims he can do things that aren't possible and he has to know how government functions to " fix" anything. He's not suggested doing away with the Federal Reserve.
Paragraph 3 Trump is either stupid or thinks you are stupid or is lying to himself. Lying Presidents and Presidents who wanted to believe things they should have questioned has caused this Nation much grief. And, historically, it's the charismatic propagandists who tells the populace what they want to believe that have led their societies into disaster.
9:03 AM, it sort of looks like you choose what you think is right or wrong along party lines. Isn't it about time you joined the grown ups and learned that there isn't any difference in political parties? They are all politicians. We need to stop the bad habit of electing politicians. Just look at what they have done to our country.
Perhaps Trump is bringing attention to it now to get it out of the way....for his future selection of Cruz as a running mate. Ya never know.
Im with the retired LC. Trump will get my vote. He is by far working the hardest to get my vote. Sick of the Repubs and Dems..
