Those warnings were annoying. Thanks, NWS. I was not aware it was raining cats and dogs and the water might be high.
They sent out how many of those last night? Three or four?
But 8:15 AM you would be the VERY person yelling at the top of your lungs asking WHY they didnt let you know if your house flooded or there was a tornado... Did you know they never left their post while the storms came... They stayed at work and did their jobs... So yes Thank You to the NWS for working countless numbers of hours to protect us here in Central MS.

Turning the volume down on your phone or turning it off works really well to avoid alerts or set your notifications on your phone so you won't get them if you find them annoying. I read yesterday that Rankin County's tornado warning system was not working. The phone alerts could have saved many lives. I was very glad to get them.
