Therese Apel is not the only woman who gets to ride around with the cops as the Canton Police Department apparently has its own ride-along program. However, the program is not for reporters such as the Queen of the Dark Horse but is instead for friends and family.
The video posted below was recently recorded near Club Blue Door in Canton. While the police handled a fracas, one officer's special someone (who is not an officer) was recording it all from the front seat of the cruiser. If only other police departments were so cooperative with civilians.

How is it known who the videographer was?
I had to work in Canton for a few years back in the mid 2000s.
Every two weeks,I witnessed the exact same crap over a wrong order
at any given fast food joint in that once nice town.
More, please! That was WONDERFUL! About an hour of that, would be most satisfying.
What is most amazing is the number of people who will stand around and record video for social media, but not lift a finger to help -- or, to run clear in-case handguns appear.
Its a new society 8:27am. Those people who rush in to help either don't exist or they refuse to potentially get cancelled or killed over the lunacy.
I cannot say I blame them. Now that everyone is a videographer, Good Samaritans get scrutinized online and someone will find a way to vilify them. Its sad, but I have accepted this is just an avoidable culture shift.
The number of bad people outnumber and out scream the good.
Post my “move the county seat to Madison” Kingfish, you bitch.
