JPD issued the following statement.
Jackson police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 3am in the 2800 block of Woodside. 32 year old Alveriso Davis was shot multiple times while sitting on the passenger side of a vehicle and succumbed to his injuries. 32 year old Marvin Farrow was shot multiple times while sitting in the drivers seat of a grey Honda Accord that was reported stolen earlier this morning. Farrow was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition. Unknown suspect (s) at this time
Kingfish note: JPD charged Davis with sexual battery in May. JPD arrested Farrow in June for breaking into Ritchey Volkswagen. The affidavit alleges he stole four keys and an ipad.
