Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Trollfest '07
Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

Thanks Bill for the info...the things that are going on in Madison County are AWFUL!!! We even have a candidate running for Supervisor who has been ARRESTED and also sued for alienation...he is now running as a good, honest citizen. WHAT A JOKE!!! His name is Ronny Lott...don't see how he can even hold his head up, much less run for public office!
he would fit right in with the other scum bags...when are the people of madison county going to wake up!!!
I think a lot of the people in his district (2) don't know about this...thanks for posting...we don't need another unethical person in office!!!!
Starting to develop a little crush on Bill. Too much common sense and straight talk does that to a girl in her 30's.
It was all about rigging elections. But it had to be done...it just had to be done!!! Too much growth in Madison - it had to be done! Yet Rankin County had a larger growth, yet they didn't change their districts......hmmmmm, interesting.
I should adapt that a little bit....too much growth in Karl Banks districts of "people" that he didn't want to represent. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, nod, nod.
I have heard that ole Rudy Warnock has put Ronnie Lott up to run for Supervisor Dist. 2...what a band of thieves!
Nothing about that mail piece that went to Clinton?
Re: 9:02 Check out how much he has spent on his campaign...heard he sent out a letter that makes you THINK he has been endorsed by Stacey Pickering and Trent Lott...I don't think so!!!!
How about let's vote for decent people for a change...i am so sick of seeing crooked people getting elected because they have crooked people with money backing them.
Here's a novel idea...why not have all of the candidates post their credit number...if they can't take care of their own finances, HOW IN THE WORLD can they take care of the county's?????
Kingfish for Governor!
9:08 You are correct. The fine print showed he wasn't endorsed, but how many people read the fine print.
Ronny Lott was quoted as saying it was a good idea that the Blackmons are suing Nissan - that's reason enough to vote for someone else. he's either an idiot or a crook (could be both, of course). I didn't know about his legal problems and history.
Need anyone say more...that statement in itself says DON'T vote for Ronny Lott...RUN to the polls on Tuesday and cast your vote for DICK HUTCHINSON!!!
even more reason NOT to vote for ronnie lott...the blackmons may even be backing him...
8:31, 8:38 and 8:41, when you want to post multiple times to make it look like a group of people hold the opinions of what, actually, is just one person, try to vary your writing style a bit each time. Normal people don't usually do this (...) over and over and use a billion exclamation points!!!!!!! And post in rapid succession because they have a prescription drug addition to amphetamines!!!
Yes, I agree with that statement!!!!!!
You are so funny!!!!! guy who just called out 8:31, 38 and 41. Now, if I could just get your number......I bet you are really SEXY in person!!!!!!!
TOTALLY!!!! I hear this guy is a lifelong conservative republican. Seriously. Voted for Reagan when he was two years old......We need more people like that!!!Not all these scumbags!!!
i would be so pissed if i were stacey pickering and trent lott...duped by a dud!
I saw this week where Steve and Rosie Vasallo were working the streets for someone running for office in the county.I thought they had left town for parts unknown?
10:16 quit btching and just be glad someone wants to get the truth out about that guy
They are working for Leland Hennington, who is a Republican Candidate running against John Bell Crosby for Madison County District 1 Supervisor. Leland seems like a really sharp guy and I believe that he would do a good job and would represent the people of not only his district, but all of us in Madison County. Unfortunately I am not able to vote for him, but I did go vote for D.I. Smith to return and keep the sun shining in on these clowns at the BoS! D.I. will get all the votes from our household! If you live in District 1 (Madison Co) please Vote for Leland Hennington!
bill is a good man. lets get him to run for something
10:09 --
Dick Hutchinson is Tim Johnson's hand-picked candidate. Tim appointed him to the MCEDA board. So, no thank you.
Tim's last "F.U." to Republicans and all Madison County was to rig the new lines to protect his Democrat buddies, Karl and Paul. He, Warnock and Hamer are scum.
But even more despicable is John Bell Crosby, the glorified bag boy. He didn't even have the guts to vote "no" on Tim's massive tax increase, SO HE ABSTAINED.
I live in District 2 and won't vote for either candidate.
Vasallo worked for Jones against Banks; Crosby against Jones ; now Hennington against Crosby.Does Steve have a standing contract to work against who ever is holding that office?
So Lott is Rudy's man and Hutchinson is picked by Tim. What a choice.
Hutchinson distanced himself from Timmy boy a long time ago. He is a good man and is certainly a better candidate than R Lott the former cigarette pusher. I agree that Bill should run for something. He is so well informed and really cares about Madison County.
I really don't believe either Trent or Stacy would endorse someone with a stringy ponytail who is no more than an over-the-hill karate kid. I think he may have finally cut the 3 strands to make himself look more presentable.
hope d i smith wins by a landslide
as someone who has been a citizen of Madison County for a long time, i can without question say that the ONLY thing that shames me about Madison County is the board of supervisors and the water associations (we can leave that for another day) !!! The Bd of Supes are a despicable bunch with DI being the only exception. I am not in DI's district. Unfortunately, I am in Karls! But without DI and folks like Bill Billingsley keeping us informed Madison County taxpayers would be fleeced on a more regular basis. Tim Johnson, Karl Banks and Griffin along with Crosby most of the time, are bought and sold to the highest bidder. The corruption and threats these guys have dished out to people are scary. I can only PRAY that the good people of Madison are aware of this and will help elect quality people. the only current member of the board that should stay is DI - clean house with the rest. As to Dick and Ronny - what a toss up. both sorry!!!
Bill certainly needs to run for something and be held accountable for his support for candidates who have serious issues, not just supporting them because their kids were friends!
give me a break 2:24, bill is doing a great job of getting facts out. the guys running for bos are for the most part pathetic. at least dick hutchinson isn't a home wrecker like ronnie lott. he's at the bottom of the barrel.
2:33 keep up wrong office seeker!!
Wow. Slow news day. You'd think with an impending primary that there'd be more than one post today.
1:01, Vasallo is Mary Hawkins' water boy. He knows where is bread is buttered and so does her bidding.
I've said it before, but you need to remember where we got at least two these "fine" members of the BOS. The mayor supported both Crosby and Johnson previously. She does not have your best interests in mind.
Vote for people who stand on their own two feet. Vote against people who have endorsements from other elected officials. Those endorsements come with strings attached.
The 'Fish is out and about getting MORE scoop. Stay tuned.
And, in case you're wondering why the Vasallos are back:
http://www.pagosadailypost.com/news/17354/Economic_Development,_For_Fun_and_Profit,_Part_Four/
Lots more to this story. Have a look. Google is your friend.
With the "quality" of the politics, we could use some shovels.
DWF is right. Its a good one. Stay tuned.
2:24, I try to pick the best candidate in each race. Humans are susceptible to weakness and "issues" like you say, but they seem to be the only ones running for office so I try to pick the best one in each election. I have held my nose to vote in the past, but I've voted because it's our duty to do so. I'll be happy to defend any of my candidates, serious issues or not, and I don't have to run for office to do so. Who would you like me to defend? Bill Billingsley
Bill, you are a serious intellectual and piece of man candy. My girlfriends and I all agree.
HA! Bill is "man candy"! Nice...
Bill groupies...LOL!
Four years ago, Steve Vassallo contributed $27,000 to John Bell Crosby's campaign. What do you want to bet he got a "salary adjustment" in his then-capacity as head of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce?
Steve has many jobs;one is to elect a new supervisor ever 4 years. In 4 years he will working against his current fellow. He has hadthis job for many years now.It must pay well.
Bill I find it rather interesting that you supported Doug Jones, and after he lost your "RACED" to the John Bell Crosby "retire the dept party", but after he wouldn't do what you and a select others "DEMANDED" he do in order to remain in your graces you determined he is no longer a good supervisor....... Easy to criticize from the cheap seats. Why don't you get your FAT ass off the bench and run for something.. Oh, and if anyone is interested in Steve Vassalo and why is all of a sudden back in Madison google PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO news articles and you will see what a crook he is....
Don't blink. Steve's on the move again. http://www.dailycomet.com/article/20110728/ARTICLES/110729480/1211/news?p=2&tc=pg
Good luck citizens of Terrebonne Parish.
8:39, you're right about your facts. I supported Doug, and after the election I did what I always do - supported the man who won in a gesture of good faith, although I don't think you can say I raced anywhere. Once the election's over I try to make sure the winner knows I'm still around. I did the same thing in the 2007 Lieutenant Governor race and the 2008 Congressional election. After supporting Charlie Ross in the primary I went to a Phil Bryant event to show that I had no hard feelings and was willing to support the Republican nominee, and although I didn't support Gregg Harper he knows I'm not against him now. Prior to this election, I had a private two hour meeting with Mr. Crosby, and from that meeting I determined I wouldn't be able to support him in this race, and I told him so. I haven't made any demands on Mr. Crosby, but I haven't liked many of the positions he's taken and I think Leland Hennington is a better choice.
You're also correct in that I need to lose weight. It's a constant battle as I get older, but it hasn't affected how I feel about the issues facing the county. My travel schedule was too unpredictable for me to run for anything this time, but you might see my name on a ballot at a point in the future. In the meantime I'm trying to do my part to be an active and engaged citizen, and that includes campaigning for candidates I like and posting videos to help other voters decide. Don't watch if you don't like it.
I don't know anything about Steve's activities in Colorado, but I know he's a tireless worker and has given his best to Leland's campaign. We'll find out on Tuesday if that was enough. Bill Billingsley
Bill, some women just called you "man candy." Just soak that in and don't worry about the rest.
