An American Bald Eagle - no, not Sydney Sweeney - decided to check out the sights at Ridgeland's Top Golf yesterday.
The eagle flew into the driving range. Confused by the high netting, it wore itself out trying to escape. Thankfully, the boys and their toys responded. Ridgeland police and and MDWFP game warden. They were able to collect the eagle and get him to safety. MDWFP will set him free when he has recovered.

100% there were some patrons taking aim with their 3 woods.
I guess they didn't do an EIS before they built that monstrosity.
"I guess they didn't do an EIS before they built that monstrosity." Probably did but didn't give a shit anyway.
Probably one of the two bald eagles that have been in western Madison county for a few years now.
@12:55 there are a good many in Madison County. I know last year there were 2-3 flying over Reunion one day. There are some in Lake Caroline (where they built the section called "Eagles Nest", go figure they would bulldoze the area and build houses...) and I saw two in Lost Rabbit this past spring.
Quite a few more than two.
Tear that eye sore down.
12:55 Maybe, but it could easily be another one. I think everyone would be surprised at how many there are around here these days. They've really "come back" and aren't rare any more.
Magnificent (and BIG) birds!
