Police arrested 71 year-old George Zinn in Orem, Utah and charged him with obstruction of justice after he tried to delay the police's search for Charlie Kirk's assassin. Fox 13 reported:
In the immediate aftermath of last week's fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk, images of a man being led away in handcuffs sparked instant confusion, with many believing that a shooting suspect had already been taken into custody.
It wasn't until about an hour after the shooting that officials said the man, identified as George Zinn, 71, had been arrested for Obstruction of Justice, but was not implicated in the actual shooting....
According to police, immediately after the shooting, Zinn approached an officer and yelled, "I shot him now shoot me." Even after the officer saw both of Zinn's hands and did not spot a weapon, Zinn again yelled, "I shot him now shoot me," leading to his arrest....
Once at the police department, Zinn asked for an attorney and then claimed that he did not, in fact, shoot Kirk and had only claimed to have done so "to draw attention from the real shooter." As he was later being transported to the hospital due to a medical condition, Zinn made similar comments, adding that he "wanted to be a martyr for the person who was shot."
Because of Zinn's first comments, police said he delayed the investigation into Kirk's death and took up law enforcement resources needed for the investigation.... Article & video

We have got to stop letting medically deranged people roam the streets as free as if they were sane.
From what I’ve read this guy is a well known gadfly in the State of Utah. He spends a lot of time basically drawing attention to himself. Time to let him sit in jail for a year or so.
Some people just do stupid things. I have to admit that prior to this I wouldn't have known Charlie Kirk if he walked up to me. Sure has stimulated a lot of discussion and behavioral problems.
Assume he was married; hence, "shoot me now!"

Or Run The Country...
"Or Run The Country"...
@ 8:22 I agree, but with the insane portion of the left in this country just like Robinson and Zinn, we'd have to have mental hospitals collectively equating to the size of TX with hundreds of thousands of employees to staff them just to house the millions of them. Not sure what the answer is but something has got to change Too many confused, violent, insane people out there these days.
Where was this opinion 2020-2024?
