Prosecuted in federal court because of the possibility of a blessing in state court?
5 or 6 years to a trial? Why the delay?
Good question, 3:52. Expect no answer.
I loved my tenure when I worked in the Hinds County Jail Jackson Facility. Never a dull moment! One night around 2:00am I was conducting headcount(yes we did headcount’s back then) when an inmate I knew from my hometown asked me to bring him a snicker candy bar the next time I was on duty. He didn’t know that other inmates could hear him. I yelled,” you dumb ass, if I bring you one, I would have to bring one to everyone in the jail”.
Be safe and never bring an inmate SHIT. That’s why they have Commissary!!! I ain’t losing my job over a damn candy bar, and my mugshot will be in the paper!
But, 9:46, if the inmate had said, "My people know where you live at and what your wife drives", you would have brought him a case of Snickers with a Baby Root and a Moon Pie for everybody else.
4:18 The inmates understood we had compassion but there to do a job.
We were grown ass men and women, they wouldn’t even thought to approach us like that.
It’s all about how you carry yourself. They know, we were not weak!
I’d make it a point to give him a snicker bar when was released from our custody. Then he would have to give me a dollar for the candy.
