Rankin County Court Judge Tom Broome is in ICU. The Brandon Police Department posted the following message from his wife on Facebook:
Please pray for Judge Broome. This update is from his wife Paula:Word has gotten around to many of you but for those who have not heard, my husband,Tom, has been in ICU in critical condition since Tuesday night. He has sepsis which struck quickly and with little warning. The infection is raging throughout his body resulting in multiple complications. The medical team is doing all they can to get control of the infection. He has remained stable for the past 48 hours but there has been no improvement in his condition. We desperately need to see progress. Our hearts are breaking. Tom has been a good friend and mentor to many and given much to Rankin County and the state of Mississippi. Now, he needs some help to beat this. Any prayers and good thoughts you can send his way are much appreciated.

One of the best. Prayers for the Judge.
Tom Broome cares about children. He's a good man and kind person.
Praying for you Judge.
I've known that guy since junior high school. He is a super good guy, always has been, too.
Supreme Court appointed retired and former County Court Judge, Kent McDaniel as Special Judge to fill in for Judge Broome on an interim basis. Rankin County is fortunate to have Judge Mac. Prayers to Judge Broome and family.
Great man.... I have followed his career and he is a very fine fellow.
Either way it goes, he will do fine. Best wishes.
I had the opportunity to met Judge Broome while in law school. I have appeared before him a few times over the course of my career. He was always fair and even tempered. Prayers for his recovery.
Great guy. Prayers sent!
Tom was a year ahead of me in law school. I’ve known few men who embody their Christian faith every day the way Tom always has. I pray for his recovery.
Great man. Get better Tom!!!!
He was and is the best thing that happened to Rankin County kids.
Great judge. Hope his medical team will consider implementing Dr. Paul Mario’s protocol for treating sepsis. He came up with the protocol at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, and many believe it to be a cure.
@9:21 - there was initial excitement over Dr. Marik’s protocol, but subsequent studies that have tried to reproduce the results have failed to show similar results. It’s widely believed that he faked the data for his study. He has since been fired from his hospital.
A very good judge. Sorry to hear he is sick. Hope he will recover soon.
