Tune in Today

Uh-oh.  Sista Rukia is going to be on CNN at 2 PM to milk this crisis for all she can. Let's guess what happens. She blames everyone and takes responsibility for nothing.  Think the CNN reporter will grill her on why her brother covered up the EPA order (as did some local media outlets) for a year?

Just curious, how come none of the news media interview anyone from the other side? Why doesn't NBC make use of C.J. Lemasters and Anthony Warren? Just curious.

Because division, victimization, and racial rhetoric fuel the progressive democrat agenda. Besides, incompetence in government isn't important, right?

Here is the script:
-White flight
-Racism
-Flooding
-Climate change
-Gun shows
-Mean republicans
-My dog ate the water pumps

Honestly? Because making Lumumba look bad will give racist trolls more “evidence” that black leaders aren’t capable. Why is that? Because the media never acknowledges or celebrates the legitimately competent black mayors like Mayor Flaggs in Vicksburg.

KF, I suspect it's just people doing shallow, half-assed work. There's a lot of that going around, and I don't see why national news outlets should be any different.

Corporate Media is a cancer that needs eradicating.

You mean the Mayor Flaggs that the Democratic Trust crowd of Brandon Jones, Matt Eichelberger, and Will Bardwell used to call an Uncle Tom on Cottonmouth? The same group that wants to run the Democratic party and keep you know who in their place?

Telling the truth is not something the news media is used to doing. The eye catching headlines are what they are looking for. Doesn't matter if it is true or not.

Anonymous said...

You sure? They just did the segment and the only interview was with a journalist at a water distribution site.

I refuse to give any traffic to CNN. Can someone post a pirated video link to bitchute?

So, here at the Medical Mall, we were without water beginning Monday. No toilets, AC shut down, all infusion/dialysis services shuttered and all clinics/food joints had to close. We had to bring in port-a-potties. We had to get water from CLINTON in semis just so we could flush the pipes to get the AC back in action. Toilets are teetering on unusability, even today... We cannot wash our hands for who knows how long...

Choke continues to push others to keep the stink offa him. Duck and cover Choke.

Watched it. Didn't see Ms Rukia. The gentleman in the car that was interviewed getting water seemed to think it was Da Mairs fault.

Everthing is going to be alright

Best way to watch with no CNN subscription?

If Chokwe were white or a Republican then yes they would humiliate him on TV. I’m not some flag waving Republican either. I’m simply being honest.

Scrolling banner at the bottom says the pumps were ruined last summer and the water system problems have been going on for years. At least they got that right.

Porta Potty companies are bringing in ex-weightlifters to help carry all the money they are making to the bank!

I just emailed a tip to CNN, recommending they take a more balanced approach and look at the current mayor's specific efforts to date re:the water crisis;and his administration's lack of fiscal accountability in this matter. A review of WLBT's recent story would be a good starting point. Will see if they take the bait. Fair is fair.

She was given ~3 minutes to attack the state and Reeves. She said that there were 225 days of boil water notices in 2021. What a screw up that was. Obvious from her tone that she's spinning because this reflects so badly on Junior.

It doesn't matter now, we have those sweet Uncle Sam bucks coming in. This is from, The Hill,

“Biden’s emergency declaration authorizes the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide assistance and coordinate disaster relief efforts funded 75 percent by the federal government for 90 days.”

12:56 has a good point. Getting into an ad hominem spirit doesn't really help much.

Badinage aside, there is little hope for the Democratic Party in Mississippi. We may yet get a Republic of New Africa, or Wakanda, but that would be a long time coming, and meanwhile we have fewer and fewer whites involved in the party who can be said to represent a common sense approach to realities. (There's David Blount and Cecil Brown, and ?)

I made a separate peace back in 2009, when Obama was sworn in and the next thing the principal Republican said was that his many goal in life was to make sure that Obama was not re-elected. We've had some form of stalemate ever since, and the large corporations have moved into the vacuum. And the loony fringes on both sides.

There are still good people everywhere. I'm just tired.

Loved the honesty of the man getting water in his car. We were taught in school there are consequences for our behavior and not to blame others. That is brutally honest in that this is what the Mayor has done for all of his years in office. Every administration inherits problems & each person who decides to run knows this in advance End of story move on & elect someone who truly is a God loving person!

And Antar will not stfu and stop antagonizing. He’s out there grabbing every opportunity to contradict and undermine the governor and the state’s efforts. He would rather perpetuate the victim narrative than work with Tate Reeves. Period. I’m no TR fan, but I will straightup admit that he’s a problem-solver. I can’t imagine it’s easy to have to clean up after the mayor and ignore him at the same time. I’m so sick of Lumumba.

You can’t make this up. CNN has a. OpEd by an author who visited Jackson about a week ago for the book festival. He compared the boil water notice to the legacy Jim Crow.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/31/opinions/jackson-water-crisis-mississippi-racism-eubanks/index.html

These are the same liars who get exposure for every crisis. They know people are hungry for information. And this is the buffet of deception that they serve.

2:26 You are kidding of course. If sister were not pushing the popular narrative regarding Mississippi racism the Atlanta CNN producers would not bother with her. If she has the right connections and plays it right she might end up being a "CNN contributor".

Anonymous said...

@2:26 same here only I suggested the city’s 2nd quarter 2022 report to the EPA as an initial shock to the conscience. People, just copy and paste the facts and inundate the major networks and Capitol Hill alike. And keep doing. I swear it gets results. The only way to expose Antar is to cut him off at the knees. Main caveat is to not blame him for every damn corroded pipe in Jackson. You just have to use the facts to point out how his gross incompetence and reckless disregard for the public trust has accelerated the city’s implosion.

Cha-ching, that FEMA money is going to make Chowke's "consultants" very happy, and they will pa$$ on their thank$ to Chowke, right?

Anonymous said...

Just curious... I looked up "People's Advocacy Institute" of which Ms Lumumba is Exec Director. Their website says that they are "non-profit" but they are not registered w/ the MS SOS. Are they breaking the law?

Anonymous said...

@3:18 they launder their $$$ through a non-profit clearing house to keep the Lumumba skim invisible to the public.

Anonymous said...

I can tell you a couple of things Choke has accomplished.

He has some how managed to make Tate and even Kenny look like the more honest and more upstanding people in the room. That is impressive.

Anonymous said...

Ugly truths that accurately address blame have been replaced by pretty lies that protect the inept and further the desired national media sensationalism.

I don't understand why so many relatively intelligent people refuse to think for themselves.

The entire journalistic profession is the National Enquirer now.

Anonymous said...

Why do some citizens of Jackson believe the State has responsibility to replace their entire water system? A precedence has been set I suppose.

Anonymous said...

Chockwe on Tucker Carlson was better

Ms. Lumumba is a she - he who uses the People's Advocacy Institute to get unprofitable money from City of Jackson, pretending to be community policing, but instead taking exotic trips with John Knight and other community criminals.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
