You just knew what the SEC Shorts folks were going to do this week, didn't you?
Video should have included something about Pitts. Mullen was so damn arrogant that he sat out Pitts despite Pitts begging to play during the game. Florida would've crushed LSU with him in the game but oh well, that's why you play the games. If you were under a rock this weekend, here is the play.
Remember, Florida has a spot in the playoffs on the line. Game is tied. Top-notch quarterback ready to take the field. We would call him Heisman Trophy front-runner but well, LSU took him down a notch. Mullen tried to claim he didn't see the play nor knew what happened. Yeah, sure, Dan.
Sure, Dan, sure.
Actually, LSU won because of the quitters. Bear ran off the quitters in his day. We can't take boys to Junction anymore. However, LSU fielded a 54-man roster that had guys who wanted to play that day, not play on Sunday. It was a young team, filled with sophs and frosh but talented young players eventually grow up and did so Saturday night. They played hard, they did not quit, and even though Trask threw for a gazillion yards, they roughed him up, pick sixed him, and made him realize he was in a football game. Good job.

That arrogant ass defended Wilson's antics saying it was a "football move". In what football move do you pick up anything of another players and throw it 15 yards?
"I went back to watch the play and he made the tackle and part of the football move, the kid's shoe was in his hand and he kind of threw it and jumped and celebrated with his teammates," Mullen told reporters "I don't think there was any intent to taunt and it wasn't like he was throwing it at their sidelines or doing any of that."
Are you effing kidding? This is what you get with Dan, no discipline.
Thanks for the SEC Shorts, Mr. Kingfish, it was great. Dan Mullens, not so much. I will say this about Coach Orgeron, he was able to keep the fight alive in his team.
Just a bunch of uncultured, undisciplined dumbasses playing sportsball for your entertainment, what did you expect?
As I lifelong MSU fan, it's tough watching my team these days, and I don't personally like Leach and don't think he'll be there long term. But anything is an improvement over that arrogant prick Mullen. I didn't like him the first time I laid eyes on him, and I'm just glad he's somebody else's problem now.
Saturday night after the Shoeshank Redemption was a fun time on the internet.
At MSU Mullen allowed an OL to stomp on opposing players. He moves to Florida and incites his players to fight. The shoe incident costing him a really good bowl game is poetic. I am glad he is no longer in Mississippi.
As an LSU alum, I was happy. It was another proud moment in the storied history of LSU football. Today, the Baton Rouge Advocate newspaper reported that the shoe was thrown over 25 yards. Everyone knows that LSU always wants things to be accurate like the game clock. Geaux Tigers!
Glad he left Mississippi.
That was more unsportsmanlike than when Jackie Sherrill castrated a bull at a MSU practice before playing the U of Texas Longhorns.
But to Coach Sherrill's credit . . . that was funny !
The Agony of a Cleat.
LShoe.
But, 1:27...Did you like him when he brought MSU stats and games won out of the literal shitter or when he took us to Number One in the country or when he beat TSUN more times than he lost to them or when he filled the stadium to capacity? Or were you pore-mouthin' and grumbling back then too? Oh, wait...You never bought a ticket, right?
I laughed when the guy in the Auburn Cam Newton jersey swooped in to grab the money bags.
Keep em coming.
Hey 6:28 AM, 1:27 here. No, I didn't like Mullen when he was brining success to MSU while he was there. Yeah, the success was nice, but having to look and listen to his yankee ass turned me off. And yes, I've bought plenty of tickets to MSU games, but I've been given more than I bought.
I'm with this guy. I liked what he did, I didn't personally like him. He's arrogant, and no one likes being around him, but they like his success. He is hard to work for "per sources" and how Grantham has stayed by his side so long after the chewing's he has taking is admirable. Like a good friend said "If you've seen one Mullen presser, you've seen them all".
