I'm horrified by the video of the cop killing George. It was horrible. Although, I am curious why no protest happened when a Minneapolis Somali cop shot and killed a white woman for no reason last yr.

There were 4 cops involved. Only one was white. There was an Asian cop, a Hispanic cop, and another of mixed heritage.

The so called "protesters" don't seem to understand that the law is the only thing protecting them from really bad, heavily armed, and really violent racists.

As a victim of violent crime in Jackson (I was kidnapped by a serial killer and escaped), let me say that JPD did nothing and told me they would do nothing. A year later, the thug struck again in the suburbs. I contacted those cops, gave them my story and file. They told me they would get the guy as now they had jurisdiction. In took six months but they got the thug who is now in Parchman.

These idiots seek a violent confrontation. They have long gone past any real protest about the death in Minnesota. They are hoping a very conservative Rankin County crowd will react violently to their "demonstration" and they can make the national news. The incident in Minnesota merely provided them an opportunity to have a "rage".

It's not just that they are going to Canton to protest the Madison (city) police, that's not even the right agency. It was the Madison Co. Sheriff's Department that was accused of racism and the sheriff's office isn't at the courthouse. And it was all inspired by a couple of bad cops in Minnesota. If they want to have a peaceful protest, it's their right and I certainly don't begrudge them doing so, but this seems a bit...uninformed. The body and particularly the brain needs regular sleep for proper functioning, so maybe these folks just got woke too early.

If these folks aren't from around these parts they might want to familiarize themselves with how things are done. Right or wrong, I don't think the bullshit allowed in many places will be allowed around here. I suspect when the first brick, bottle of piss, or firework is thrown at the cops it will get real sporty.

Mr. Floyd's death is absolutely tragic..but it could have been avoided with law-abiding behavior. Far too many citizens of all stripes still want to take their chances and stand up to the "Man" even if it costs them their life. It's called En-FORCE-ment for a reason. Officers are acquitted repeatedly for doing their jobs everyday that are very dangerous and unpredictable. This officer will likely get charged with manslaughter...but ultimately walk.

Many believe these nationwide riots (promoted by the media as protests) are really a manifestation of their overall hopelessness - because the Democratic plantation hasn't produced a viable candidate to run against the big, bad, racist, DJT. Those who still rely on the Democratic plantation full well know that Trump will be re-elected, and they think there's no one representing their needs for continued dependency and victimhood.

After the Shamdemic, many may have unjustly lost their jobs - so now they have nothing to lose....and there's nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose. Van Jones himself recently said that the liberal Democratic party is more dangerous than the KKK....and he's right.

When I show up to the protest, do I register as a Woke or Speaking Truth to Power participant? If I am not on government assistance can I still participate? Can we choose which businesses to loot and pillage or is it pre-assigned? Will the mayors of Canton and Pearl provide masks like the Minneapolis mayor did? Why can’t we do this at night when it’s not so hot? Will they blame any destruction we do on White Supremacist and of course Trump/Republicans? Will there be a lunch served? Where are the restrooms? Is this a pet friendly event?

I heave a theory about choosing the outlet mall.

They know Pearl PD, the RCSO, and maybe MHP will show up in full riot gear to protect the businesses. Lots of glass to smash too. Expect them to goad the LEO's into shooting them by hurling petrol bombs.

I assume they are also hoping that the large parking area will attract all manner of leftists and antifa wannabes from every corner of the state.

Finally, I suspect they want Skycopter 3 circling overhead and JFP and C-L photographers mingled in the crowd to give it that big city feel.

The police officer didn't murder anyone. The eyewitness account the video is well as the corners report back that up. There was never one active violence committed against George Floyd. The officers did not put him on the ground. There was no take down. he laid in the road of his iwny initiative twice to keep from getting in the car. The officer put no pressure on his neck and the corners report bears the same. No tissue damage no bruising nothing. he simply tried to keep him box 10 between the vehicle and the active traffic passing by here George wouldn't get his felon ass run over.

In a former career I deployed to several large-scale civil unrest events and I can tell you from personal experience that there is no reasoning with some of these people.

When the President formally designates Antifa a domestic terrorist organization/network and investigates and prosecutes their leadership, their funding will dry up and this problem will be greatly diminished.

It will take some time, but when investigators follow the money and build out their network of funders, facilitators and direct actors, the organization will fall quickly - these are not sophisticated groups and practice no operational discipline; in fact, they can't keep their mouths shut about all of the stupid shit they do.
