The Mississippi Community Education Center cut loose most of its employees a couple of weeks ago. The layoffs come as no surprise after top officials were indicted for alleged embezzlement earlier this month. The email posted below was sent to employees.
MCEC is still operating some programs.

Was that picture taken with an iPhone 2?
Glad to see you're still rockin' the Nokia Potato Phone Z1000, Kingfish
Close.
I'm guessing iPhone 3G.
You would think with the kind of money this place was "suppose" to be taking in they would at least have a decent scanner.
It looks like someone wrote this letter before consulting with Lord Snow. It contradicts the CL article that Families First is not MCEC and MCEC is not Families First.
True is not a 501c3 entity. But, the waters are murky on how it relates to the MCEC structure.
I will add that those of us in the nonprofit sector have been skeptical of Families First for a long time. Glad to see we are getting peek behind the curtain.
Gallo,Phil, Tater and the others must be real proud they help with this fraud.
Anything with “community” in it and you can just assume it means blacks.
But but but....."Its for the children."
What's not to like?
February 25, 2020 at 6:43 PM - exactly HOW did Tater & nem “help” with this fraud?? The ONLY people responsible for this fraud are the ones who actually DID it. Nobody else.
This was not Tater's favorite charitable deduction. It was Feels and the first Lady's. You need to get back to asking that stupid question about Tater's road (that never existed).
