Drop that worthless 40yo bag o' shit off somewhere down W Capitol at about 2:30 am Sunday morning.
please and thank you
I can’t believe that day care is still in business. It’s had problems for years. I’d quit my job before I subjected my children to that place.
Guilty until proven innocent.
12:06, per the video, she's guilty. If it were my child, she'd be more than guilty. I probably would be guilty too.
12:06 PM, I get your sentiment but videos are basically an open and shut case.
These videos are sick. I hope the children are not going to be scarred and turned into serial killers.
@12:06- If you’re being serious, I’m guessing you didn’t see the video. There’s absolutely no question she’s guilty. Why in the world did it take a week to arrest?! There are absolutely NO QUESTIONS about guilt in this case.
If you’re being sarcastic, this is the wrong case to make your point about a rush to judgment.
Exactly 12:06, I mean everyone assumes the worst...the daycare worker in that video is probably visually impaired and just did not see the toddlers she was casting about...
This isn't PC (who cares), but how about quit chasing the dollar and stay home and raise your kids!
The exception being if you are a single parent.
1:10 I am looking for the "like" button.
My kid is at this daycare but not in her class. We spoke to our doctor about the incident at a routine checkup. She said the worst thing to her was that the baby never cried. She said that child was conditioned to that sort of behavior from that woman. @ 1:10 it's tough to stay home and leave 90k on the table.
How much value do you put on your child?
Would you do it for less than 90k?
90k after daycare and taxes is like 40k. Stay home and make sammiches.
Madison is LOST!
I’d like to see that bitch get man handled. If she ends up in a Mississippi prison obviously it will happen I just won’t get a chance to see it lol
2:19 90K job what are you selling? crack?
2:19. I have left much more on the table so my wife could stay with our kids.
I’d hit that.
That's a hard 39.
I feel certain that the woman has some psychological problems and regardless how long she spends in jail maybe she needs to be on some kind child pervert registry.
5:27 I call BS
Saw a lot of wasted, unrelated video and finally saw a woman who appeared to snatch a plastic chair out from under a two year old. What did I miss?
"What did I miss?"
In one video she was practically throwing a kid in place when it moved its covers on the pallet The kids were obviously scared of what would happen if they moved. I think she covered their heads up too. I'm all for discipline but I think she went too far.
If parents want or need to work that shouldn’t be the issue. The issue should be being able to send your child(ren) to a place that won’t put them in harms way. Yes, she like everyone else in this country is innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately, most people don’t think that way.
Alright 7:29. You got me on this one.
People are being held hostage by these daycare centers. It’s not about the quality of care they provide. It’s all about the money. The rates are unreasonable and the stipulations are insane. If your child is sick at home you have to pay for daycare because that’s a slot someone else could be filling. Screw that!! So this is the kind of service and protection we can expect for our children? With the rates and rules we are held to this is the best you can do? Where was the manager or owner? My guess is nowhere to be found. My children are grown but when they were in daycare I rarely saw the owner/manager when I dropped off or picked up. That’s why I found a nanny to stay at my home for a more reasonable price and better care for my children. Since this story aired I haven’t seen a manager or an owner come forward to publicly address this situation. That tells me either they know they are providing substandard care at an unreasonable rate or they are cowards hiding and hoping this goes away. At the rates people pay for daycare we should expect better care for our children or at the very least some accountability from the people in charge.
As a parent I sometimes get angry at my kids and do things that cross the line. I’d be willing to bet these kids are undisciplined, spoiled brats.
"...We received a report and immediately reviewed camera footage..."
Whatever happened to being pro-active? Why wait until you get that rare (if ever) 'report' to view your daily camera activity?
How about, "We have staff who review samples of our camera footage on a daily basis. This helps us ensure safety, proper protocol, and employee commitment to our mission".
Cameras should be in place to ensure child safety, not as a 'cover our ass' after the fact tool.
@5:07am. This was a one year old class. Spoiled little brat one year old huh?
My wife stayed home to care for our three children and we always managed. I’m their formative years, children need their moms at home. My wife went back to work when they started going to college and we paid for their college tuition rather than utilize student robbery, I mean student loans. It worked for us. It may not work for all but you have to sit back and ask yourself if you want to keep up appearances or raise your children.
I’m waiting for the rest to come out about Little Footprints, their owners and how that place has been run for years. It has been going on for more years than it should have been allowed.
@9:09 AM - I salute you.
If your job & social interaction is more important than your child, do not have a child. It is not easy to be a stay at home parent. Our PC society denigrates responsible, child rearing mothers. Our professional schools are now majority female. Having children is more than spreading your legs. The most important function for a mother is to rear her child. Women should not have children just to deposit them into some else’s care.
5:07. In no world is it ok to wrap up a one year old in a blanket and toss them anywhere.
What happens at the day care center STAYS at the daycare center. Oops...forgot about the cameras.
Hope somebody posts pictures of drop-offs next week.
I can't help but wonder how many of the preachy comments about the need for women to stay home and raise the children were written by people who have actually been stay-at-home moms, and "my wife did it" doesn't count.
This thread is about predatory, abusive employees in the workplace. It's not about staying at home or who sends their kids to daycare or who makes enough to allow their wives to stay home. The usual whiney-assed crew is out in full force suggesting this would not have happened if there had been better parenting.
Employees of places like this, even classrooms, should be subjected to a battery of psychological analysis instruments as part of the screening/hiring process. We give such tests to candidates for top level sales and consultant jobs...why not where our children could be at risk?
Another behavioral factor is that this woman is just over five feet tall and weighs over 200 pounds. She's extremely jealous of the shapely young mothers, driving BMWs and Jeeps, dropping these children off each morning, but she has to smile at them. So, she takes that emotional rage out on one and two year olds.
Psychological inquiries would have prevent her being hired. Oh, wait! It would be cost prohibitive. Really?
Is Little Footprints still owned by the lady that originally opened it? Our daughter went there for several years and we had nothing but very positive experiences, but that was 10 years or so ago.
@ 10:17 - Even the briefest of points, having been made, can be totally irrelevant.
What about the working dads? Men who work are praised as the providers, yet the working moms are being painted as uncaring and obsessed with money. I know many working dads who are also loving, attentive, fun, and nurturing fathers. Can't women work and also be loving, attentive, fun, and nurturing? Also, just because a mom stays at home with her kids does not mean she is always present and engaged.
What about the working moms whose jobs provide better insurance than the dad's job? Quality healthcare is invaluable, and it's a privilege to be able to ensure that for a child.
ensure?
@2:58 pm Let me help you out: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ensure
It's really sad to see all the comments about working vs stay at home parenting. As if this is somehow the parent's fault this happened. Bet all those casting judgment will be front and center on Sunday praying about doing the exact opposite. Typical.
