The Court-appointed receiver in the Lamar Adams case asked for permission to sell his St. Andrew's Drive home for $540,000. Receiver Allyson Mills stated in a motion:
The real property is, therefore, ready to be sold. It has been listed on MLS, the multiple listing service, since Monday, April 1, 2019. The Receiver received multiple offers immediately following the real property’s listing. On Friday, April 5, 2019, the Receiver accepted the highest and best offer subject to compliance with 28 U.S.C. § 2001(b) and confirmation by this Court. That highest and best offer was for an all cash sale in the amount of $540,000.
Ms. Mills said she "obtained three different appraisals" from Randy Knoese, John Newell, and Jamie Greer. The proposed sale will be published in the Clarion-Ledger for ten days. The receiver can still accept offers that exceed the offer of $540,000. If no such offers are received by the close of business on May 6, 2019, the current buyer will purchase the home.

What a steal.....for the receiver
That house is some kind of ugly.
$540,000 for that house?!!! Congratulations to Ms. Mills!
Please provide Ms. Mills phone number. I need help unloading my house.
Are timber rights included with the sale? Is the UPS store going to be used for notary services? Have the skeletons been removed from the master closet?
Asking for a friend.
That is one ugly house.
What is going on with the charges against Bankplus?
I heard that some investors were going to make it a museum. Don’t think there is a Ponzi museum yet...
Wait until they take a close look at some of the original subdivision covenants that are still there. That'll raise some eyebrows ... and tempers.
Sales price isn't net.
Hope it comes with a good security system.
Hold on! Receiver took sealed bids. Sold to highest bidder. But now anybody can come along and outbid the highest bidder? Sounds like the definition, now, of an auction.
I wonder if the buyer is an individual or an entity. Hopefully it's not one of these situations:

Is there a list of assets somewhere we can look at putting a bid in on? Has to be some fire arms and other stuff that might could be gotten for a steal.
