JPD tweeted yesterday that arrests were made in the murder of rapper Lil Lonnie that took place a year ago:
An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting death that occurred on Montebello Dr. back in late April of 2018. Suspect, Monya Davis-21, is charged with murder. Davis was being held in TX and was extradited on last week.JPD Chief Davis said Antoine Carr was arrested in the murder and that other arrests are expected in the case. Bond was denied for the suspects.
A second male suspect is also in custody in TX and is awaiting extradition to Jackson. Additional arrests are expected.

It's the perception of an arrest.
Too bad they can't be tried in TX - no blessings for murderers there... Although maybe the Feds can take this one because suspects crossed state lines?
I hope that the chief of police is a better law-enforcement officer than his six grade reading level shows. I guess our wonderful mayor got rid of a competent chief to put a puppet in his place.

While you're 'guessing', how many chiefs do you 'guess' Jackson has had in the past thirty years? Twenty? Fifteen?
Meanwhile, Madison (that place Jacksonians love to hate on) has had ONE.
Jackson changes chiefs more often than it changes the guy in charge of pothole repair.
