Check out WAPT's headline from yesterday:
So does this mean we need to break out the Coppertone, lay out in the back yard, and drink rum all day this weekend?

KF, the answer to your question is YES. Always yes. No matter the weather, no two smells go together better than Coppertone and rum.
KF, they can't help it. They are just dumb liberal reporters that have no idea what they are doing. You're about the only local news outlet I actually read. The rest are worthless.
Yesterday WLBT had a story of a murder. The location in the story was given as Village Apartments on Raymond Rd. yet the large map accompanying the story showed the location as an apartment complex off of Old Canton Rd. in NE Jackson.
There was also a story the other night about a shooting on Windermere Terrace which is one block east of North State St. in Broadmoor. The station identified the area as "Northwest Jackson." I've lived in Jackson all my life and this area has never been Northwest Jackson.
Looking forward to the tropical weather! Should be nice!
Sports highlites at ten!
We should have a tropical weather party on the banks of the Pearl River. It has sand among other things.
Get ready for the TV Weather Bobble-Heads David Hartman and Ken South to get on the air and try increase the rating with up to the minute info about:
"the ahhh ummm ahh hook echo and ahh ahh rotation you're umm seeing ahh ahh that could umm ahh be in ahh our veiwing ahh area"!!!!!
I wonder if there is such a thing as a "news director" anymore for local tv news? The silly field reporters that try to entertain have turned me off of watching; it has become like a stupid sitcom - example - WLBT reporter (?) pouring a bottle of water on the hood of a car to demonstrate how flooding in Houston would severely damage a vehicle! ENOUGH PLEASE!!!
SHIVER ME TIMBERS, It’s going to get cold next week
